Thank you for helping us during this stressful time. ********************************************* My husband and I love supporting local businesses, but we won't be using Perrone's as our local pharmacy due to the awful customer service. We have never been before and weren't familiar with working with a pharmacy outside of going to CVS. My husband entered and asked where he could drop off a prescription and the lady working sarcastically looked around and said "hmmm wow that's a great question, I wonder where" then proceeded to talk down to him the entire time he was attempting to fill a prescription that he was only given an emailed PDF of. Instead of guiding him in the right direction, they treated him like he was stupid and asked him what he expected him to do with an emailed rx. There were three other people working the counter that were about as rude and did not step in to help. You can check my other reviews, I am not a Karen and constantly use Yelp to provide positive reviews. We try to treat people like we want to be treated and it's super weird when the customer is being more kind than the staff. Really disappointed and appalled by their behavior. I like Diamond pharmacy because its so easy to walk in the door, drop off your prescription, do your grocery shopping while your waiting for a prescription to be filled and be on your way! The staff are always friendly and professional, its not a problem if you have questions and want to speak directly to the pharmacist, they always have seemed happy and eager to help. I'm not sure anymore but they used to have a free blood pressure machine right by the pharmacy that I've been using since I was about 6 years old to check my blood pressure, not that I knew what the numbers meant back then, but I always took it and reported to my Mother that my blood pressure was JUST GREAT!

My husband and I have been using this pharmacy for almost 4 years now..... and why we kept going…read moreback is beyond me. We have always tried to support our local community, no matter where we've lived. But this guy has made it clear to both of us, that this is NOT a business we want to support. The staff has on occasion been rude to my husband and he's seen them be rude to other customers. So that tells us, it starts at the top. On more than one occasion the pharmacist Brian has been condescending and beyond rude to me. My doctor prescribed something to me one time to help me sleep and it overlapped another prescription that I already had. When he was talking to me about it, he made me feel like I was a drug attic, and that I was abusing it. One time I went in around 545pm (they close at 6). I was trying to use a discount card given to me by my doctor. Mind you,I had never used one before.... the entire staff (mainly Brian) clearly didn't want to help me because they were ready to go home. At one point when I was looking down at my phone, to activate the card Brian said something and I tried to answer and he rudely said ," I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to her!" To get me out of there he offered to spot me one pill until I could get the card figured out, because obviously my doctor wasn't clear in telling me how to use the card. I told him to forget it and that I would pay full price. I got my bag and left. Got home and the prescription in question wasn't even in the bag. There was a note on the front of the bag in bright red letters that said the prescription in question was in another basket and it was checked that he (Brian) was supposed to counsel with me because it was a new prescription. I was so pissed. Went the next morning to get it and got zero apologies. Maybe if they hadn't of been in such a hurry, they wouldn't have forgotten it in the fThese people do not deserve my business. I've worked at HEB for 20 years and if one of our partners ever treated a customer like this they would've been reprimanded. I know it probably won't make a difference, but I will NEVER be going back again. We've spent a lot of money here. I've had 2 hip replacements and a knee replacement and we got all of my medications here. So much for supporting "the local guy". Our business will definitely be going elsewhere. Save your money, unless you want to pay for being treated like crap!!!!
