The location at this pharmacy is next level bad. While they are friendly there is only one pharmacist and only a few staff behind the counter. Stood around for 30-45 min waiting to ask a basic question on why a transferred prescription was cancelled, pharmacist is running around like his hair is on fire, other customers piling up. While I'm standing there no less than 3 calls come in and several customers walk up that needed something that required the pharmacists support, which was provided, yet a fairly simply question I had could not be easily or quickly addressed. The other issue with this location is you can't speak to a person when you call, you reach a voicemail that you have to leave a message at then wait for a callback (which often times does not come). I unfortunately switched employers in Jan and previously had Walgreens, of which I never had any issue or problems with and always received quick service. read more

The CVS store on 190 close to PAC. The current two pharmacist are fantastic and come from behind the counter to walk isles to help me find medicines. I am on a auto refill for most medicines and never have trouble. Walgreen, however is overly busy and experiences there have not always been pleasant. As far as going early to try and refill a narcotic, I have been with good friends who were turned away. I would imagine, and seems to happen a lot. Both Walgreens and CVS disregard these early refill requests for certain medication, mostly pain narcotics, because of federal and state guideline. Some pharmacies, I know Walgreen does, keep a record and reports the habitual early and very early requests to refill a prescription. My experience has always been pleasant at CVS, Walgreens a little different, but both good pharmacies. Only difference might be the medicines carried by each franchise. read more

I like CVS. You can get a lot of good deals here when they are running specials. Their 12 pack Coke and Pepsi products are usually on sale and are cheap! You've got to have a rewards card though. If you don't you will be paying high prices. My sister used to be an extreme couponer and with the way their rewards system is setup, many times she would come away from this store with a cart full of stuff having paid nothing at all. She still has a closet full of stuff she got for free. read more

This is a nice, clean store but I prefer Walgreen's. I never understood how both Walgreen's and CVS stay in business when they are directly across from one another. The pharmacy here is a backed up hectic mess. They have made multiple calls to me telling me my prescriptions were ready to get there and still need to be filled. They tell you 15 min but it will take an hour. I've done business with most pharmacies in Mandeville shopping around for who has the best overall service. The CVS ranks the worst. On an added note they mistakenly filled a prescription for my mother with an anti-anxiety drug when it was labeled ambian on the bottle. CVS, you don't have room for this kind of error. Take your pharmacy business elsewhere, you have been warned. read more

Echoing the other similar reviews... this pharmacy is a train wreck. Nice enough folks but totally overworked, the place is horribly understaffed. Spent 10 min in drive thru after a disembodied voice over the speaker said they'd be right with me. Never saw anyone and gave up. Lots of signs welcoming winndixie and Kmart Rx customers, maybe they should hire the pharmacy staff from those stores too. All done I'll see ya at Walgreens. read more

DO NOT GO TO THE CVS PHARMACY on #190 in Mandeville. The Pharmacist there is beyond rude. It is not the first I have seen her rudeness or encounter her insanity. Which makes me question her true ability to be a Pharmacist. I was early to pick up my prescription and was told it was not ready. I said no problem I'll wait. I was told I could take my prescription somewhere else. WOW! I said no worries I will wait and once again the Pharmacist comes out from behind the counter and says you can take your prescription elsewhere in the rudest attitude. I was completely taken back. Now does CVS make so much money they are asking or telling the customers to go else where. I went shopping in the store and picked up a few items and then went over to side of counter and took a magazine and stated to read it. She came after me again to say take your stuff and go to the front of the store and pay for it there. I am saying the flat out RUDENESS OF THIS GIRL is not the way a business should run. It seems that the CVS pharmacy at #190 has not thought to help or be nice to anyone. The Pharmacist is showing the way that customers do not matter and they can talk anyway they want to the customers. The review before me is correct the Pharmacy is a mess. There are Pharmacies on ever corner, why go to one that the people working at the Pharmacy are so ill- mannered, bad mannered, down right nasty . DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. I have a neck injury from a motorcycle accident which left me with 3 blown out disks. This causes horrible migraines and extreme pain, I mean go to the ER pain and I have neck surgeries every 6 months. This pharmacy never ever has the medicine I am on. Pretty much every CVS in the Covington area sucks. I spend hours driving around trying to find one that has my pain medicine. None of them will tell you if another store has it. Then their damned corporate won't send them them amount they order and they expect you to wait weeks for medicine. If this is Obamacare causing this well thanks to all you morons that voted for him. Otherwise the stores are so afraid that someone might rob them of the drugs that they don't give a damn about their customers that need medicine. read more

Spent 22 minutes in pharmacy drive thru, had 2 cars in front of me when entering line. Took 2 minutes longer than last time here. Never again. Should not open drive thru window when staffing levels cannot support customer needs. read more
