I hate this CVS. I can never find anything and there's no one around to ask questions. The pharmacy staff I interact with sometimes ignores me standing there, and also there is one woman who doesn't seem to speak a lot of English but more than that, seems to lack understanding or common sense (although she is perfectly nice). First time I came here it was because I was looking for Avery stickers and the other two CVS didn't have it. I lucked out here and grabbed the last 3 and was decently priced. While waiting in line to check out (this location does not have self check out registers) there was an announcement going off over and over again how security needed to go to the front of the store. The cashier was not phased and no security ever came. Just gave me the vibes as I gotta get outta here... I did go a second time, was just looking for some of the deals and on cleaning supplies/kleenex everything was sold out and even if they had it, it was locked up and I would have to wait for an employee to retrieve. They must have a lot of theft here. I ended up just getting a birthday card and the employees were nice as far as me being there 30 mins before they closed on a Friday night. But that security message was going over the speaker again so I'm not sure if this is a glitch. No reason to really come back - but plenty of parking as it has it's own lot. read more

This place is really disorganized. What put me over the edge is when a tech who did my Covid vaccine and flu shots did two things: 1) She marked that she had given me the shots before they had been administered, and I was notified/sent proof of administration before it happened. 2) She didn't change her gloves between the last patient and me. I had noticed that the trashcan was empty, and I would've expected gloves to be in there. When I asked her whether she had new gloves on, she said she forgot and changed her gloves. I've been to some really bad CVS stores but someone this is the worst (except for the pharmacy department). If you needed something form the locked items, no one shows up to help. And no matter what time of the day you shop there, their merchandise seems to always be out of stock and the store is always dirty. There are other CVS stores in the area, go there instead or go to Walgreens on Main Streeet, that store is bigger, bright and always clean. read more

Went to pick up a prescription that was supposed to be free I give the guy name and date he goes one $25 I start asking questions he ignores me walks away comes back opens the door I ask the price again he goes $25 he has a deep voice I can't see his face he gave me horrid customer service wouldn't answer my questions ignored me literally said 4 words to me don't help felt like talking to an answering system. wtf read more

I genuinely feel disgusting being in this store every surface is filthy and they treat every customer like a shop lifter. The Pharmacy is the last layer of hell with the world least attentive people working there. They never get my orders right or refill them without me having to go in and either yell or beg. This CVS's pharmacy is really lousy. This place botched my husband's prescriptions so badly, and kept getting them wrong. Couldn't fix the problem, even after hours on the phone with them. Today they screwed up a Covid booster appt for me. Which was mostly due to their scheduling websites poor coding and malfunctioning. They were impossibly rude about it. They were unprofessional, and then didnt even give me my vaccine card back until I had to remind them they still had it. None of the pharmacy workers wore masks despite the fact that health care workers are still required to do so. There are other CVS's locally that are worlds better. Dont come here unless you want your prescriptions botched or you enjoy being treated poorly. Really, go somewhere else. This location doesnt have their act together. read more

I shop here all the time. Cashiers are friendly and helpful. If something is out of stock, they always offer me a rain check.

I'm not sure what's happened since I've worked at CVS, but if we ever missed a sale sticker we would always honor it. Guess not here. Only one person in uniform. I am writing to complain the staffs of CVS Pharmacy at Ferry st, Malden, 02148, Massachusetts! I took my prescription medicine there and I were told to have 2 types of medicine there by my doctor. After that I went home and unpack the medicine and found out only gave me 1 type of medicine. Moreover, they didn't ask or check my insurance for the coverage. And they charge me for $9.42. I checked and found out my insurance should be covered the fee.Therefore, I go back and asked again. I was waiting there around 1 hour for getting my medicine and asking my payment. The result is they told me I HAVE TO GO AGAIN WITH THE RECEIPT FOR GETTING MY MONEY BACK!!!! It is so ridiculous for me to walk 3 times for their FAULT!!! AND even didn't give me a reason for this. I won't get my prescription again in all CVS! read more

Unsure what has changed since my last few visits here but today was the worse experience. Front office staff (specifically those working today) do not seem to care or value customers. I don't understand how incredibly poor this particular cvs is. It's new and yet it looks as though a nuclear bomb had gone off within it. The store is always understaffed, I truly mean understaffed. Doesn't matter if have to come in on a Tuesday afternoon or a Saturday night -- there is a line. The people who work here are incredibly slow and uninterested. I can understand the level of human interaction available at a drug store but theirs is below breathing half the time. The store is filthy and always out of stock of basic necessities. It's frustrating when I'm willing to sacrifice a $20 extra bucks and go to Walgreens just to ensure I get my item. There is no need for such a state of disarray, CVS really needs to see this store, the location down the street is 10 times better. Please fix it!! read more

Pharmacy sucks! Never dealt with such incapable staff, this includes 2 different people i spoke with! All 3 incompetent. I call in to fill a prescription at noon and confirmed that i will pay out of pocket. I waited until 5pm. And still no text that prescription is ready. I call again to confirm. And lady says nothing was placed! She wasnt even sure cream was in stock anymore, puts me on hold for 18mins, and another pharmacist picks up, maggie, and starts all over again from scratch! Tells me to pick up in 1 hour! After waiting all day, they want me to come back in an hour. They could care less! read more

There's just something about a store with an automatic sliding door: it practically COMMANDS me to enter. CVS is one of those places I'd always see commercials for, but never got to visit until I moved away for college. At least now I know I wasn't missing out all those years. Much like Walgreens, they tout their pharmacy & sometimes their store hours. Virtually everything is inflated in price, the selection's usually not that great, & they're always trying to get you to sign up for their "store savings" card (unless you already have one). This particular location has incredibly creaky floors, despite appearing to have been built on solid ground. If you're prone to eating disorders, stay away from this location. Three steps into the store & you'll feel like an obese whale (I know I do). This location has a LOT of greeting cards. WHOSE BYING ALL THSE CARDZ OMG SRSLY. There's a small magazine section (not that I like magazines), a decent candy aisle, & a super-expensive frozen foods section (it's like, six or seven dollars for a freaking half gallon of ice cream, wtf?). I also found out, after walking all the way out there on a freezing cold night, that these guys aren't open 24/7. Thankfully, the Walgreens right down the road is. :) There's a sign near the ramp outside that says "PEDESTRIAN OVER ASS" (The P was completely faded/rubbed out), but the bush in front of it grew so much that it's covered now. I had a Rx that wouldn't go thru at Stop & Shop and I was sent over to CVS, they called my doctor and the insurance in order to straighten out the issue-I am so thankful, I was in pain and needed the medication. Yikes. Of all the CVSes I have patroned this one is easily the creepiest. I can't really put my finger on what weirded me out -- the super narrow aisles, or the one employee working on the evening I was there. But eesh. This place gives me the willies. Some of the pharmacists are mediocre. Two pharmacists in particular have been regularly helping these other two with something every time I visit. There is no blood pressure machine and no room for one. Parking is tough but not impossible. I liked that they sold "ecological-friendly" toilet paper. They often give me a half a dose or a dose and a half less medication than a full month's count. They did not have a flu and cold clinic. The sliding doors were helpful for me and the downtown location is convenient for me. read more

3 star rating ONLY because of the amazing pharmacy staff. The rest of the store is dingy and seems very out of date compared to most cvs. The staff who works the rest of the store are unfriendly and weird. The store itself deserves 1 star. It has AWFUL hours, too! BUT!!! I have never encountered a better pharmacy staff. Bobbi especially is a pleasure! She remembers us by name and is so helpful! We have had some really awful experiences with surly/unhelpful pharmacy workers at many cvs in the past, so this staff of wonderful people is a breath of fresh air. The CVC pharmacy staff are respectfull and caring. Waiting time is about 10 minutes, reasonable, and they guide you as much as you need. Ive been going there for the past year and am satisfied and never had a problem. There are plenty of street parking too and you wont be looking hours to park your car. There's not a lot of seats available, which is common in CVS pharmacies. read more

The new CVS on Ferry ST is big clean and plenty of parking. Nice staff. . The pharmacy has not changed. My doctor's office faxed over a prescription on Thursday March 24. I called Friday - they claim never received it. Called on Monday my doctor it was faxed Called again to CVS nothing. Called CVS today nothing never received the fax. Called my doctor twice and they faxed prescription. Just called waited 14 minutes on hold to be told that they did not have my prescription and THEIR FAX MACHINE WAS DOWN. Are you serious - These people are dealing with medication that people need to take. My doctors office is now closed and I have to wait till the morning. This is the second time they have made a mistake on my medication read more

By far the worst customer services EVER! The "managers" there have no clue on what being a manager is about... Their training consist of "its nothing I can do". Please DONT use their Money Gram because it will take you a month to get the money that belongs to you. I used the money gram there serval times and it's always issues. The last time I used it this happened: I go to the MG machine and enter my info, and then proceed to the cashier to receive my money and the cashier starts to process... After about a min she says "oh our machine is down, so I have to void the transaction". She then calls the "manager" Ana over to void the transaction. The cashier tells me that it has been voided and I can go to any other MG and pick my money. I get to a different CVS MG and the machines says my info is invalid. I call Money Gram and they say the money was received at this location. Keep in mind I didn't sign anything or receive my money. The MG agent told me to contact this store to resolve the issue.... I have been on the phone this entire week trying to get my money and Ana has been giving me the run around. She said she would have her manager call me which they never did. After 3 days with No calls from CVs I call them. They tell me to come back to the store and get the voided transaction paper and then call MG with the info(doing their job for them). When I call MG they say just that... CVS needs to call us with this info not you. mG tells me to go back to this CVS to have them call. I contact Ana again and she tells me she can't contact them(meaning she can't do her job) she has to check with her manager and that could take up to 3 weeks... At this point I am taking this matter up with the Attorney Generals office because this is now behind bad customer service I believe that Ana or the cashier (or both) have taken my money. Even if they haven't pocketed my money something just doesn't add up with this CVS... Don't shop there if you require quality!!! read more
