Huge selection of all those two. Then, since I was hungry- brownie bites, 2 kinds of gelato (tiramisu gelato ) milk, tea, pistachios.... I needed Benadryl gel, & liquid - both on sale. And a cute cotton shirt also ended up in the cart- on sale $9!! Lots of reduced prices. A great shopping trip. Food for a couple weeks and healthy choices in the grocery area. Six times in a row they have gotten something wrong. Impressively, it always seems to be something different. I did not realize there were that many ways to screw up a simple doctor's order but they have shown me new horizons of fallibility. I desperately miss my HEB pharmacy in Midland. At this point I am seriously considering driving an hour and a half round trip to Huntsville simply to go to their HEB. If Yelp would allow a 0-star rating I would have used it here. They didn't earn even 20% approval.

I get that everyone is human. I never complained and continued to support this pharmacy. However, after today I am done. I need a specific medication for migraines that is taken monthly. I sent my refill in on the app like I always do. I went to pick it up and after waiting about 15 minutes they tell me I need a PA. I asked the tech, confused, "Since when?" She responded very rudely with, "Since now. You'll have to call your doctor tomorrow." I informed her that I never needed a PA before and it just seemed odd that I do now. I called my insurance and they fixed the issue right away. I go back in and they are already working on it, which is great. Then they tell me my coupon for my co-pay (which is $200) isn't working. I download a new one, activate it, and give them that. Still apparently isn't working. At this point I've been waiting inside the pharmacy for an hour and a half and they are technically closed. I'm now being told (by the same rude tech) that I'll have to try again tomorrow because... wait for it... THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE IT IN STOCK. I would love to know why I wasn't informed of this from the start. Instead of being with my kids after working all day, I sat in a pharmacy for over an hour and a half for no reason. I'm officially done with Abeldt's and will be moving all mine and my family's prescriptions to Lufkin Pharmacy first thing in the morning. Editing to add: Spoke with Erika, a manager this morning. There are the Dollar General Market and Family Dollar stores in town also, so there is a little competition for prices. But this store does have a much larger selection than the other two stores in town. So if you don't want to, or can't, drive the 15 miles to Livingston Walmart or 16 miles to H-E-B then this is your best option. They also have the Tobacco Barn and gas station on the parking lot.
