Worst experience in a pharmacy since I can remember. Scheduled flu shot online. When I got there stood in long line for 10 minutes. Got to the counter to be told I needed to go to the other end, no signs to indicate where to go. They don't seem to expect me and were a bit too terse. Told me to wait in a store isle. I waited 30 minutes then returned to same clerk who didn't seem to remember me from 30 minutes ago. I told her forget it, I'm going across the street to Walgreens. This place is absolutely disgusting. Not only did the workers have a terrible attitude but I watched them force a kid to get a vaccine after he was clearly saying no but his parents were the ones saying yes. THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL! Its your typical CVS --- which means its "A-OK". When shopping in Little Silver for your pharmaceuticals, I'd highly recommend you go over to the Family Pharmacy on Church Street instead. Four times I was contacted by the pharmacy to come pick up my prescription only to find out when i got there that they ran out of my medication. Just the saddest pharmacy going. There is ALWAYS a line, always a wait - its kindof bonkers, actually. Last week, my father waited 1 hour for really imperative pain medication for my mother-- who is, you know, just battling stage 4 breast cancer that spread to her stomach is all - and the hour wait was AFTER we had called and they confirmed it was complete. Today I waited 30 minutes for a script, you know, expressly to prevent my mothers (same cancer, same stage, same battle) ileostomy bag from exploding -- and when I arrived they said they had no record if it. Eventually they sorted it out, found it in some misplaced script vortex; the major downside being that my mother (same cancer, same stage, same battle, now with exploding ileostomy bag) was stuck at home forced to babysit my previously napping nightmare toddler - as we had both assumed it would be a super brief trip and that I'd be back before the Tiny Beast awoke. The Tiny Beast kicked & screamed at top volume the entire time, surely not causing Mom any unwelcome stress. I still hate cancer way more than this CVS and love my mother way more than I hate cancer, so as long as no one asks me to go this effing CVS ever again, my love/hate/rage issues should remain at a healthy balance. In summing up and just in case it's not clear, srsly AVOID this sad sad CVS, just hit up the sassy Pharmacy Latinas across the street at Walgreen's. I love them. But also remember, Little Silver Fam Pharm is THE ONLY place you should be going to for gifts, toys, trinkets and rad 80's pool & beach gear lifted straight from yr childhood memories. read more

This is the worst CVS I've been to from the parking to service. I had bad experiencea with the pharmacy and now with customer service. I had to deal with a cashier whom I ask a question regarding something I purchased at a different location. She look at me as if I was a Martian then at checkout she kept looking at her phone texting or whatever. I think if you're working you shouldn't be playing with your phone. read more

Ordered Nervive Pain Relieving Cream on 10/5/2022 online through their website. Buy one get one at 50% off!! I ordered two at a total cost of $21.58 with tax included, which I paid for with credit card online.. When I picked up my order and got out to my car I opened the package and only one item was in it. I went back into the store and talked to the manager. he said they only had one in stock. I said, I ordered two and paid for two, so why was I charged for two and only received on. He said check you credit card bill, as they probably scanned the one item when they filled the order. Well, I got my credit card statement, and the amount was not changed. I was still charged for two, and only received one. Do not order online and pay for it, as you might not get what you ordered and paid for!!! If you do order online pay for it when you pick up the order, and make sure what you order is actually in the package. read more

CVS Pharmacy (located in Little Silver, NJ) is the BEST Pharmacy I have ever been. After reading some of the most inaccurate/obscene reviews below, prompted me to write my first Yelp review. As an oncology patient, my typical week consists of traveling to/from doctor appointments, treatments, radiology scans, lab work and picking up my prescriptions from the pharmacy. As you could imagine by the time I arrive to the pharmacy, I am exhausted, nauseated, weak and stressed out. Fortunately, the easiest part of my week is my trip to the pharmacy, thanks to the Lead Pharmacist/Pharmacy Manager and his pharmacy tech, Michelle. I have been coming here for almost two years and want to let everyone know how knowledgeable, compassionate and responsive the Lead Pharmacist/Pharmacy Manager has been since my first visit at this pharmacy. He transferred all my prescriptions promptly and ensured the medication I require for my terminal illness is ordered and in stock. The Lead Pharmacist /Pharmacy Manager and his staff know me by name and have consistently delivered stellar service and never fail to act in my best interest and the best interest of my health with my prescriptions and advice on those prescriptions. The Lead Pharmacist consistently checks for any/all possible drug interactions and will immediately alert me if there are any issues. Like any other business, it can be busy at times, but they have always made time to answer any questions for me and every other customer I've witnessed around me. The Lead Pharmacist is literally "Super PharmaMan". If he is not answering the phone or making phone calls to doctors' offices, you'll see him filling prescriptions, addressing concerns/questions in consultation, administering flu shots and even checking out customers at the counter. He is both a team player and by far one of the hardest workers I know. Every time I visit the pharmacy he is working (I'm not sure if he ever stops working as he is in regardless of which day I come into the pharmacy.) He should be commended for all his hard work and superior work performance. Thank you for all you do for me! read more

Michelle and Steve are great, as well as the folks in retail. CVS is a mess and poorly run. Their phone system reports the pharmacy closed when open ( I did get through to the photo folks who said they were closed due to being busy...get that!), I can't stop a prescription I no longer take (and the darn annoying message it is waiting for me to pick it up). Prescriptions I have stopped years ago and paid for were not taken back (in the toilet, both the meds and my $).A Prescription order placed on 9/27 reported as having been picked up on 9/26 and can't get until 10/11 now.....it is tuely is a mess. I hope corporate can support the staff at the location, and the consumer, we need to have trust in the company. A 20+ year customer but on the verge of going to Little Silver Pharmacy. CVS is usually my favorite drug store, and although it is a bit on the pricey side, I really like their selection of products and how quickly I can get a script filled if need be. However, I had a really unpleasant experience today .. my diabetic grandmother is visiting out of town and did not bring enough hypodermic syringes with her. So she told me to run to the pharmacy because apparently in NJ, you can purchase them without a prescription. While I was waiting in line, the tech was all smiles and compliments to the lady in front of me but when I asked her for the syringes, she gave me a dirty look and said that I need a script for those. She turned to her supervisor who looked up at me with disgust, then looked back down and just shook his head, as if in disappointment. So I asked again, this time directing my question at him, because maybe they didn't hear me right and he said "No! We don't see them without a prescription! Doesn't matter what size or how many, we won't sell them to you." He did not yell, but his tone made me really uncomfortable, along with the tech staring and frowning at me. I was mortified, and was not about to go into a lengthy explanation about my grandmother because it would most likely make me look even worse. Perhaps this CVS in particular does not want to supply drug addicts with paraphernalia - and that's all good and fine - but I feel like this was handled very unprofessionally, especially since the law states that the syringes are available OTC. They could have at least given me the decency of an explanation, instead of making an assumption and then falsifying the law. And for the record, I am a presentable looking young woman, who does not, in my opinion, look like a junkie. And even though I usually go there to fill scripts and purchase make up and stuff, I definitely will not be going back. read more
