And I managed to make it here at 559 was told that they cannot cash out my son's very important prescription. Because the registers were already closed down. I mean, there should be a courtesy or grace period or they shouldn't at least shut down the cash registers until it's actually 6 o'clock. It's like they're already shutting down before they're actually supposed to, which I don't think is fair, it's something so small, but I should have been allowed that minute because technically, they shouldn't have been closed until 6 PM. All I got was A. We will reopen at 8 AM. Like, thanks for educating me, but I kind of knew that already. Guess I'll be back at 8 aM sharp and I hope they're not freaking late, not even by a minute.\nReally not happy

I recommend everyone get their flu shots...just not HERE! Actually, unless you're willing to…read morecomplete the entire check-in process on your phone, you're basically told you CAN'T get a flu shot. At least not on Friday, 11/29/2024! To explain: I made an appointment that morning online for a few hours later that day, completed the required info, got the confirmation text, etc and showed up a few minutes before my appointment time. Got to the store, went back on my phone and clicked "I am here" to check in and walked to the pharmacy in back. At the window I was told that "your zip code has an extra digit in it, can you please redo your info". Fine, no big deal although I am 99.9% certain *I* wasn't responsible for entering my zip code incorrectly. I was then advised by the woman I was speaking with I needed to go back onto phone to RECOMPLETE all of the required agreements. Mind you, I have limited data on my phone plan and try to use it sparingly when not at home. I asked if maybe there was just a form I could complete instead. I was told "No, it's all digital now". So I asked what would happen if I didn't even have a phone. Basically I was blown off. I tried to compete the online forms again, being made to (by the app, not the woman) to download these forms again, twice, because I was having some issues getting through this. Again, I asked if it was possible to just give me the forms to sign. She told me she could help me with my phone but at that point I honestly didn't want to be eating up any more data just trying to get through forms that I KNEW they had to have behind the counter (seriously, what if I didn't own a phone like some don't including family members) and asked, again, if there was just something I could fill out by hand instead. Told no, again. At that point I told her I didn't need a flu shot that badly and walked out. I got in my car, went to CVS, was given a short form and got my flu shot. Mind you, I've had multiple issues with this particular location a few years back and just stopped using Walgreens entirely. I made the mistake of thinking enough time had passed and maybe the staff at that pharmacy was different now. New people, same lack of assistance.

But this is a dump and it should be nicer. I've lived here for 12 months. I stop in frequently and this employees car is ALWAYS here. Always. Applause for holding down a job and working a lot but you're clearly young. In business, employees park as far away from the front door as possible. You have a huge parking lot but insist on parking in a prime space. This is where paying customers are supposed to park but the stores management is clearly okay with this and that says a lot. Why do I care? This is where Karen is justified. When I was in college I worked in stores and restaurants. I can't recall one business that allowed an employee to park anywhere convenient. Why would they? Prime spaces are for customers. So here we are. The staff feel entitled to park wherever they want. Not just here. Almost everywhere. It's the wrong way to conduct business. It's not how it used to work. And some wonder why many of us are very very supportive about strict immigration laws. So oblivious.

If you shop often, it's a good idea to join their myWalgreens™ reward program. All you need to provide is your first name, last name, ZIP code, and phone number. Some of the benefits from the rewards program are: - Save money by unlocking sale prices. - Earn unlimited 1% Walgreens Cash rewards storewide on eligible purchases, even at the pharmacy - Earn unlimited 5% Walgreens Cash rewards on Walgreens branded products - Earn bonus rewards by achieving health goals But be aware that any Walgreens Cash rewards expire one year after they are earned or if an account has been inactive for 6 months. Your account is deemed inactive if you have not used your membership in store or online. Plenty of parking at this stand alone store.
