I had been looking around for compression socks for a family member and finally this CVS had some in stock. Compression stockings can keep legs from getting tired and achy. They can also ease swelling in your feet and ankles as well as help prevent and treat spider and varicose veins. They may even stop you from feeling light-headed or dizzy when you stand up. So, one of my relatives in Panama wanted some since they are hard to find down there. The prices were competitive, but I was glad to see many types and styles. Easy to check out. It is more accurately Drive and IDLE or PARK many times! as the line inches forward one car length every 20+ minutes. Two days in a row stuck in the pharmacy D/T queue. Definitely going to rethink my service delivery options: mail order may be the way to go. read more

The people that work in the front are so sweet ! But the pharmacy! Omg ! The worst ! The lines are always long and the customers are always waiting for literally hours ! It's insane! Then today 12/3/2021 the Hispanic older lady with the glasses that works in pharmacy literally tried scamming me ! She first said my prescription was over-the-counter and that I have to pay for it even though I've gotten the same prescription filled many times at this pharmacy and never had to pay for it and it's never been an over-the-counter medication. Then she says that my insurance doesn't cover the medication anymore because I am no longer insured so I called my insurance and they told me that I am fully insured and then they try to call her and she continuously picked up the phone and hung up on my insurance multiple times. Now I'm left without my medicine and I'm pregnant! read more

H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E !!!!!!!!!!!!! First, I'm curious to know why the pharmacy even bothers posting a phone number??? Is it just so their website looks aesthetically complete? Because it's certainly not for an actual functional public use. It absolutely doesn't matter what time of day/evening, or day of week you call. They simply never answer their phone. Like EVER!!!! When you do go in person, customer service, and courtesy is completely non-existent. I often wonder why some of these establishments have the word "care" in their name. It should just be called "Health Handling" as there's absolutely no care, concern, regard or respect when it comes to dealing with customers. I've seen this at other CVS locations (not all), but this location is on a whole other level. They are rude, dismissive, unpleasant, and act like you showing up is an irritant and disruption to their day. Excuse me for believing you are actually working there to help people. Customers aren't there to buy luxury/splurge items or toys. We are there for our "HEALTH" is that a fathomable concept for these people?! When you do have the unfortunate displeasure of actually speaking to someone behind the pharmacy counter, oh sweet baby Jezas they are sour!!!!! And slow and borderline incompetent. First I spent 20 mins in the drive thru with 2 cars in front of me at 8:30pm on a Thurs. I finally got out and walked in the store where there was one person at the pick up line, and one customer off to the side on a phone call apparently sorting out some kind of discrepancy, and 4 pharmacy techs behind the counter. I stood there for 5 mins without even being acknowledged. When I finally spoke up and asked for help the woman that came over looked at me as if I had slaughtered her first born. She was flat out discourteous, she kept cutting me off when I tried to explain what I needed. Telling me to go online and look for stuff that my other CVS does automatically without my asking, and spent forever checking thru her system to give me printouts which was irrelevant and not helpful. The situation may've been quickly resolved had she have the patience to allow me to properly explain what transpired between the doctor's prescription and my insurance. I wasted 10 mins with her and got nothing accomplished. They must have a rule for employees that "smiling to customers is forbidden." I understand that any public service job can be challenging, but do they grasp the concept that their business is to help manage people's health? Sick people. When did the "Care" in healthcare become non-existent? It's apparently a non issue for CVS the company who dominates in this multi-billion dollar industry. Wherever their profits are going, it's certainly not invested in their employees compassionate care to their customers. Customers who are at their most vulnerable, seeking help for the thing that is the most precious of all life's priorities. Their health. Way to go CVS! Like most businesses of your stature your core value is an accessory to your business clause. Your bottom line is your #1, #2 and #3 priority. Btw surveys and reviews are a joke. These companies could care less about any real improvement to benefit customers. Improvements are only made when a lapse causes a dip in their profits. Not because they actually care about enhancing or improving their customer's experience. Case in point, the lax, unprofessional and crushingly disappointing way in which their pharmacy operates at this location. read more

I decided to change my pharmacy a month ago and it turned out to be a nightmare. I was bounced around from Walgreens, Walmart all the big chain pharmacies. You see I need opioids to survive. I have severe debilitating pain from my US army service and also a motor vehicle accident in another country. It's been over ten years of about 12 surgeries, the last on my back a few months ago. I have a spinal stimulator that gives me some relief but not nearly enough. So opioids is my only resort. The people that have abused this drugs has made life exponentially difficult for people like me who use them only as prescribed and it works. When I ended up at CVS lauderhill they were my last hope. My wife and I explained my medical history and the pharmacist on duty-Diane was so incredibly empathetic to the pain and frustration and hopelessness we were feeling. They didn't just believe everything, they verified all our information but treated us with respect that we didn't get elsewhere. Walgreens was just plain rude and dismissive and treated me as if I was a criminal. Kudos in the highest to Pharmacists Diane and Samantha and a gentleman whose name starts with an A, please forgive me, he was so helpful! Thanks CVS pharmacy staff, you have earned life long customers. Lastly Pharmacy management deserves some reward for always going above and beyond the call of duty. read more

This place is a NIGHTMARE, especially the pharmacy!! I've been to 3rd world countries that have better service than this place!! Always 7 to 8 people behind the Pharmacy counter and no one pays attention to the drive-thru or the counter. If they finally get around to paying attention to the customers waiting, and I've waited there for 30 minutes or more, they're slow as molasses!! If they went any faster, they would actually have enough momentum to travel backwards!! Yesterday was the absolute last straw! I went to get my refill of Crestor (generic), and was charged 30.00, when the previous 7 times I'd been charged 10.00. I SHOWED the the girl in the freaking CVS APP, they're own companies FREAKING APP, where I'd been charged 10.00 at least 3 other times, and she could not be bothered. Last night I switched over to Walgreens on Oakland and Inveraray, 3 people behind the counter, and they took care of 6 people in line in less than 5 minutes and then took care of me. 5 MINUTES!! I will NEVER step foot in that CVS again! read more

I am from another state. I use CVS at home and never experience a problem filling my prescriptions. However, this CVS is understaffed for registered pharmacists. I have waited almost 45 minutes to speak with someone only to hang up and go in person. The staff are very nice but unorganized and never have anything ready. This review is for the drive-thru pharmacy. HORRIBLE customer service!!! The girl behind the window CLEARLY had an attitude! After telling her my first and last name to pick up my prescription, she tells me to place my money under the clipboard...ok fine...then she goes to get change, comes back and places my prescription bag on the box/drawer thing that slides out (can't seem to remember what those things are called) and just gives me this blank stare!! No please sign the clipboard next to your sticker, no thank you have a nice day, NOTHING. I grabbed the clipboard and asked her where do I sign? The clipboard had stickers all over the place, not in uniform where it's somewhat neatly aligned down the page. Those of you who've gotten prescriptions before know what I'm referring to. She catches another attitude and tries to tell me where to sign without using the microphone! So of course I'm sitting in my car like, "Excuse me what? Where? I can't hear you!" See, by now shes mad because I keep asking her where..but its like, you're making this even more difficult then it should be! Use the speaker like you did in the beginning! Finally I just scribbled my name and drove off! I was tired of seeing her sour puss face...I can't stand people who have attitudes on the job. It's like why even come to work?
