One pharmacist in particular is rude and condescending. Gives ugly looks. Had to call corporate.

This 24 hr pharmacy is an absolute joke. For starters it is a 23.5 home pharmacy bc they close for lunch everyday and now apparently they close whenever they want. I understand if you drop off a prescription to be filled and have to wait but to be told it would not be filled (even if you wait) for more then 7 hours is criminal. Staff is ALWAYS rude. CVS as a nationwide company should be ashamed of how they treat their customers. read more

The store may be open 24 hours but the pharmacy is NOT. You have to drill down to see the pharmacy hours. From the local store perspective, that is excusable because it is beyond the local staff's control and I'm sure corporate has to manage all of that. However, rude, belligerent, inconsiderate behavior is not excusable. I mentioned to the staff in the pharmacy that there is misleading information on the web indicating that they were open 24 hours and that upper management should be made aware of this so that it can get corrected and the pharmacist jumped in and was downright rude and belligerent. And he wouldn't shut up. Eventually the store manager came to the back of the store (she must have heard him erupting) and asked if there was a problem. I couldn't get a work in edgewise for the pharmacist continually interrupting and talking over me. If my wife didn't need the meds that got called into this store, I would have walked out right then. I can assure one thing, when I did walk out that door I will never walk back through it again. There are far too many drug store options to have to put up with that kind of unprofessional behavior. read more

The rudest staff I've ever encountered at a drug store!!! I'll be avoiding this location at all costs while wintering in Lake Charles. Last winter experiences the same rude staff and tried visiting again this winter using their UPS shipping drop off services.... never again!!! read more

I'd give this pharmacy zero stars if that were an option. I have never had a customer service experience this bad - if you can call complete apathy service at all. Me and my fiancé both had perscriptions to fill here. First, they let him wait an hour after telling him to sit in the waiting area. Then after he waited like they asked, they told him they couldn't do anything for him because he gotten out of line. Then, later, we come back and they let us get through the line only to tell us they were out of one of the medicines we needed. Why the ever living **** would you not just say that up front the first time? Oh by the way: we are out of one of the medications. Was that just too intelligent? We could have gotten it filled somewhere else. Instead, person at the window has to gall to say ' well, you don't have to get it filled here.' Sweetheart, don't worry. We are never getting anything filled here again. You guys don't deserve a single customer you have after the way we were treated. Disgraceful. Absolutely disgusting. read more

Worst pharmacy staff ever.. Two staff at consultation side, one at drive thru, no one at walkup! Three customers arriving after me were helped before me. I uave never received good service here..asked for mgr..not in till tomorrow. read more

The absolute worst CVS pharmacy I have ever dealt with. This CVS pharmacy just told me they don't want to work anymore tonight, so they decided not to fill anymore prescriptions. They simply just said go somewhere else. This is the only 24 hour one in our area. But they decided they just are not going to do it tonight. read more

The pharmacy service is horrible. I waited behind one person for 35 minutes. That is unacceptable. The prescription is either ready or not. It's that simple. Then I could hear the staff call me a moron for honking. Unprofessional. I will not be coming here again. A store shouldn't offer a service if they can deliver in a timely manner. read more

Great customer service never out of stock on sales items .they is never a long wait here for the pharmacy or in the store no matter what time of the day . The also have really great specials on drinks and wine . read more

I will never step foot in the CVS on Nelson & Country Club in Lake Charles again because of the pharmacy. It's probably a safe assumption that most people picking up scripts from a pharmacy may not be feeling their best. So this is the last place you should have an uncaring attitude. I drove up to the pharmacy at around 9 pm after driving in from Houston. I'm here living and working. They inform me that if I drop my prescriptions through the drive thru, it will be an hour wait but if I come inside, it will be 15 / 20 min. So I said I'd come inside. Then she handed my prescriptions back to me. I asked why she couldn't just keep them and start on them and she said if she took them from me in the drive thru, that I might not come inside. Really? So I went inside to drop them off, there was no one in there. She was talking to the Tech. And she basically didn't acknowledge me for a few minutes before coming over to the drop off window. About 10 or 15 minutes into my wait, she informed me that they were out of Cipro (a VERY common antibiotic) and gave one of my prescriptions back so I could get it filled elsewhere. There is no reason for making me come into an empty store at 9 p.m. at night to fill my prescription faster. And there is no reason for not taking the prescriptions at the window (even if I did have to come inside) so that I could rest in my car until it was time to pick them up. She was even rather rude about another prescription I had. She took them from at the drop off window and then waited till I got to the other side of the store to call me back and tell me in a snotty way that since my doctor is in Texas that she can only fill half of this particular description and I lose the other half. I didn't know that but I was fine with it. It was just her tone. Like there was something wrong with me for needing the prescription. NEVER again. NEVER. read more
