Never drop off a FedEx package here! I dropped off a package on a Monday, and it was supposed to be overnighted. The worker scanned it, but apparently forgot about it while she helping a woman with a passport photo. By Wednesday, the tracking had not been updated since the scan. I had to call FedEx twice. The package was finally picked up on Friday because they had to send a special courier to get it. I also use the pharmacy which is pretty typical... Quick sometimes, slow others. The level of incompetence and lack of caring at 2636 Ryan location is astounding. multiple times I've been told that my prescription was being made ready and was ready only to go all the way there to find out that it wasn't and it had to be ordered. They are horribly incompetent or horribly deceitful or maybe a mixture of the two. I would settle for a heart attack before dealing with this store. Disgusting. read more

lost a lifelong customer first imagine this review with profanity. This company treats customers at its busiest location like serfs. Yet builds unused locations in floodplains because that's were the stupid inbreads want to live. You shorten hours cut back staff and take a dump on us every day. Today after telling me for four weeks my script was going to be filled in the next day or so the didn't call or message me they just cancelled they told me after I waited on the phone they were too busy to check their other stores and hung up on me when acting like they were transferring me to a manager they do this all the time. I have used Walgreens Pharmacy for about the last 5 or 6 years and every time I come I never have her call in my prescription is always ready the person that the window was always really really nice of course they're really really busy all the time so if you come at the wrong time of day you may possibly be waiting 20 30 minutes for your prescription there's always plenty of cashier's check you out if you need to purchase anything the shelves are always start the manager here is really really nice. I just went to a Walgreens store number 2636 in lake Charles La to try to deposit some money into my chime account but before I even approached the counter the cashier named "Hope" opened with "what do you want" at first taken about by the rude comment. Instead of asking about the hostility, I asked if I could deposit some money into my chime account and she would interrupt me speaking to say how much in very unpleasant and unprofessional way I then said 500 please she then said swipe your card. At this point I had realized I forgot my card and was going to say sorry never mind but was met with we can't do it then with a look of anger and disgust, it makes me sad to see a grown adult that's in her place of business not showing there best side for the company and making customers feel uncomfortable and unwanted in the store, it makes me sad to say I will never be shopping at Walgreens store 2636 in lake Charles La read more

I had bought several 500 dollars gift cards with no problems. This past weekend, I was confronted by an assistant manager wanting to know what this card was for. I am a responsible person and I was highly insulted. I will never shop there again. read more

The manager of the Walgreens store on Ryan St. needs a manager! He told the photo department employees to clear all orders in the queue. Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever! I had photos that needed to be printed, submitted my order online, received a notification that my order was ready, go to pick them up and only one photo was printed. Awful customer experience on the phone and in the store. I have purchased 7 $100 gift cards in the past and I have made numerous visits in store to stimulate the economy here. Especially in Lake Charles. I try since Amazon and Walmart are bug competitors. The last time a manager walked away from my query and I believe went to lunch. I ended up waiting 42 minutes. This time the order does not show up, I offer to provide the order number , manager says nope... it doesn't show. I call customer service they can't help. The service here is usually fast and efficient that's why I've had my medication filled here for a year. Today, while waiting for a prescription to be filled and reading a magazine by the stand up front, I was told I couldn't look through any mags before buying by an associate. This practice she said is a "process called grazing," which is "compared to eating grapes at the grocery store. " This I now know, is bad for sales. Leaves something of a bad taste in my mouth. The pharmacy always has the worst customer service and half the pharmacist could careless about being there. Not to mention their is a line around the building and at the counter inside. The head pharmacist and a pharmacy tech decide it would be the perfect time to have lunch. I understand you need your break but maybe wait until the line of cars is not blocking half the spots and there isn't a line 7 deep. Or better yet take your breaks at separate times. read more
