UPDATE: I finally just decided to visit their website. Turns…read moreout - there IS an email option. So I've been using that instead of calling and bothering the staff during the day. Unfortunately - the email goes to one individual. They don't have a dedicated email for customers that can be monitored by whoever is working that day - so I found it a bit of a challenge to communicate with varying staff members who were trying to assist while another staff member was on vacation - or off work that day. Won't bore readers with anymore detail, but despite their great prices - because of the communication issues - I'm currently seeking another pharmacy. Suggestions welcome. I may have gotten on the pharmacist's nerves with my persistence, but they were finally able to get a price for me and just like I figured - their price was 30% lower than than the four compounding pharmacies I checked with here in metro-Atlanta. ***************** Full disclosure - this is the FIRST time - I've ever written a review - where I didn't REALLY know how to review them. 1) Background / History - I was referred to this pharmacy - by another pharmacy I loved. See review for MP Pharmacy / Fusion Pharmacy. That pharmacy had the absolute BEST prices I've ever encountered. Not sure how my dermatologist found these folks, but Kudos! I had a 6 month love affair with their prices and customer service when BAM! All of a sudden they could no longer write Rx's for non-Floridians because they were acquired by a new company. :-( I was struggling to find another affordable compounding pharmacy and Bri recommended Custom Plus. 2) Value - they have the very good prices. I live in metro-Atlanta. So I'm comparing their prices to local compounding pharmacies. 3) Convenience - According to the staff - there is no online-refill or online-contact option. The website lists a 'Contact Us' option. Because I work midnight - 8am / midnight to 5am and sleep the 'first half' of the day but also work part-time from 1- 5pm - it can be difficult to call any business during 'normal' business hours. The website lists certain hours. The staff lists different hours. Honestly - I have no idea what their hours are. But I hope, at some point, they will offer a monitored, online option. Not even referring to weekends. I would just LOVE to be able to message them - since I'm asleep or working during their business hours. 4) Customer Service - I've never had anyone be rude with me. But I will say - if you are in your 40's or 50's - and you have teenagers or people under the age of 24 that you engage with a LOT - be prepared for this sort of interaction. Lol. I swear I feel like I'm 80 years old every time I speak to one of the support staff members. Lol. They don't seem to have customer files with Notes like other pharmacies - so I have to repeat myself quite a bit. Then they seem a little exasperated or annoyed when you give them the detail they requested. And the staff loves to ask you to hold while they get some info - then without giving you any sort of warning that you're about to be transferred - someone else will come on the line. I find it a bit disconcerting.

I receive text notifications that my prescriptions are ready. Multiple times I have shown up only to find that they are not in fact ready and I've made a wasted trip. On a couple occasions my doctor has changed the dosage of a prescription. I'll get the notification that my prescription is ready and go to pick it up. When I arrive it's not ready because they said they don't know what dose to fill. One, if you don't know, call my doctor. You shouldn't be taking my unprofessional word for what dose I'm supposed to be taking. Two, wouldn't it make sense to fill the prescription for the dose that was most recently prescribed by my doctor? I literally have had to tell them the dose and ask them to delete the old one so that they don't get confused. On my last visit I was appalled at the behavior of some of the staff. The tech working the drive through window would turn off the mic to the outside and very LOUDLY complain about each person that drove through. Sure, the people in the car can't hear you, but every customer in the store can! I looked at the pharmacist thinking they would surely shut the complaining down, but she just joined in!

Employees having attitudes is…read moreusually something I let go, sometimes people just have bad days and I get it, but I've had two unpleasant experiences with a manager here twice now within the last couple of weeks. I didn't feel compelled to write a review until an incident today. As many know, theres a new craze surrounding the stuffed animals known as Squishmallows. Unfortunately, I find myself to be in that craze and absolutely adore them, and have for a couple years now. Around this time of year is when they start releasing the Halloween styles at retail locations and if you don't get one the day they put them out, then you might as well not bother because you wont get one at all. A couple weeks ago, I decided to check this walgreens for them. When I first walked in, I didn't see any out on the shelves but I asked an employee in the section if she knew if there were any in stock, since there were a whole bunch of boxes. She checked and there were, and she seemed pretty happy to help. Then the manager walks up, says to me and my partner very grumpily that they don't have any. However, the previous employee had literally started opening the box with the Squishmallows inside. We weren't trying to bother anyone, I always do my best to be polite and try not to interrupt anyone doing their current task. I would expect this attitude from a teenage employee... not someone who's at least in their early thirties and in a higher position. The employee put out all the new arrivals they had gotten and i got one squishmallow between my partner and i. One. Thats the back story for todays incident. On my way to do errands, we stopped in again just to see. We hadn't been having much luck but I thought I'd see anyway. To our luck, they had the one me and my sister in-law have been looking for! They had 6 in stock and we were originally only going to get two, but decided on three because we thought another friend might want one. We walk to the register and the cashier politely tells us that she can only do two per purchase, so we asked if it was okay if we could pay separately for them and she said that was fine. The manager was eavesdropping and told us no and he said we could only get two since we were together. We explained we were paying separate and his attitude kicked in. He said something along the lines of "No, you guys came in together. You're together. I told you guys this last time!" Huh?? We didn't argue, we put the third back. First off, i completely understand restricting purchase quantities, theres a huge scarcity at the moment. However, there was no need for attitude on either occasions. We werent being over bearing, we werent running into the store crazy and snatching all of them up, we dont go in every day asking them if theyve got any in. There was no reason for him to be so outwardly annoyed with us specifically. Secondly, he had not said anything of the sort the last time we visited, if not the shear evidence being that I'd only bought one single squishmallow on my last visit. TLDR: there's no reason to be rude to customers because they come in looking for a product your store sells. Its unfortunate if others have been rude or crazy towards you and your employees, but its highly unfair to treat anyone coming in like they just caused you the biggest inconvenience of your life just by existing.

I have a terminal chronic medical disease and live with constant 24/7 pain. I had been filling hydrocodone there for 2 years, switched to the VA system for less than a year, when VA cut us all off I went back to a private doctor. Walgreens made a big deal when the ER filled a rx for pain meds while I was between doctors and had an emergency with a severe infection. They didn't want to fill them and threatened to call my pain care doctor! Told them to go ahead and try, I don't have one! Walgreens "Are you sure you really want these pain medications? You know these are dangerous opioids, right? You will become an addict" Me "Yes I want them and no I will not become an addict. You are pushing straight up lies and propaganda from the government and it isn't any of your d business to begin with" Walgreens "We are going to have to call your pain doctor since you have a contract and this RX isnt from your regular doctor. You are breaking your contract" It went downhill from there. I got my medication but will not use this pharmacy again.

That is ALL the way on the other side of town! It must be a local thing because in the country, or even a city, a 5 mile drive is never considered "far." People are kind and funny. Welcome to your standard Walgreens. The staff are kind. The Walgreens rewards card is allowed here if you like to scan it and see what coupons come with your receipt. You can be like me and get them but never seem to return in time to use one or bring it. I save coupons like, "yeah, save a dollar next time I buy my deodorant." Then, I go deodorant shopping without a coupon one fine snowy day on errands after work. Haha. Welcome to Walgreens! It's totally what you expect! No complaints here ever for me. Just your wonderful normal average Walgreens!

Today, I used a GoodRx coupon and they had to redo the cost of the script. (this after waiting 10 minutes in the drive thru). When I got to the pick up window and informed the attendant that I had a coupon she told me that she couldn't take my phone and apply the coupon and then I would have to come into the store and have that done. So I did that and got in line and waited again. When I got to the front of the line, I was told that I would have to go to drop off line for this change to be made. So I got into another line and was told that the charge ticket would have to be reprinted so the attendant put my prescription in a basket and I was told to wait a few minutes till that was taken care of. After waiting another 10 to 12 minutes , I was finally addressed and a new ticket was printed. I was then told that I needed to go back into the pick up line so that I could pay for the prescription. I waited another 5 to 6 minutes before I was able to do this. So, after a grand total of about 25 minutes of waiting for one prescription, I finally got the medicine. The rest of the folks in the store are actually pretty pleasant and helpful, so I feel bad about lumping them into this poor rating.
