I had my RSV shot schedule twice and my appointment was canceled twice. Time to go somewhere else.

RUN, don't walk the other way from this Pharmacy. They're incompetent and shady. My doctor sent In prescriptions twice and this place still doesn't have them. The pharmacist is a power hungry jerk, he didn't like my mom questioning him and told her "you're going to wait," to get her prescriptions filled over the Christmas holiday. Then the power hungry pharmacist told my mother she she didn't need her prescription that was prescribed by her doctor.... he shows a disgusting lack of compassion. A pharmacist does not have the right to override a doctor, no matter how smart they are.... Please, for your own safety, go somewhere else. read more

Had to go back to this dump again. Trash on the counters next to the sign that says how they clean the place to keep us safe. Seriously? Impolite rude slow employees. Scary to think that my wife takes meds from this place. Who knows what they're giving her. Little old LaPlata Pharmacy right down the road is 100% better. I wonder if anybody from CVS / Target reads these? Doesn't look like it. read more

While the employees at the La Plata store are all very helpful and pleasant this company has the worst online website I have ever tried to use. I have an account with then but no matter how often I have tried to use it I still have to put in all my info, Including all insurance information. Plus they have my store at Fall Church Va. and I live in Maryland and they won't let me change it. Their "Accessibility @cvs health " doesn't work. Their "Connect with us" doesn't work. Obviously they do not want any comments from their account holders - hmmmmmm wonder why. Safeway is much quicker and easier. read more

Typically average service, today was a comedy of errors. I was overcharged for a prescription, the p prescription was not ready when indicated (I called in advance) and the counter staff was a horrid, rude young lady who refused to do anything except look at her feet and not answer any question that I had. This pharmacy is really busy because of the hospital being very close. I understand the urgency, but the pharmacist was being very aggressive with the staff and the customers. Because of his attitude, I took my prescription to be filled at another pharmacy. The entire vibe at the Safeway pharmacy was so good, that I will take all of my prescriptions to them. If you don't like what you do for work or you are so stressed out that you can't handle it, find another profession! read more

Pharmacy lady was super rude. I was feeling terrible and in a lot of pain after leaving the hospital (my second trip in a month). Had to come here to get a few prescriptions and her attitude was just horrid... she knows that she's working with people getting medicine, so that means that they don't feel good obviously so I don't get why she has to be rude because that just makes the situation worse.... however I did go to the cashier in the front to buy some orange juice and the 2 older gentleman working were super friendly, noticed that I must have just left the hospital and they asked how I was doing and cheered me up, they made my night a lot better. I didn't get their names, but it was a Sunday night around 12am. When you're feeling like crap it helps having such friendly people cheering you up to improve your mood! This pharmacy is getting stranger and stranger. I wonder if the DEA has checked them out? Last year or so they were having carpet installed back where the drugs are and I believe that federal law dictates no one but the pharmacist back there. Also, I have a hunch they do not always hand count their controlled substances (i.e. sleeping pills, ADHD meds, pain killers, anxiety Med's.). If they use the machine they are suppose to do a reliability check and hand count. You are allowed to ask them to do a hand count in front of you before you take your meds please do this if you are stuck going there. We all can do our part,be vigilant! read more

My doctor had sent in prescriptions for me in June. A 90 day supply with two refills. Come August 18 I still have not received my medication. Obviously the cvs in laplata does not care if they get prescriptions filled or not. read more

It's the only 24 hour pharmacy open in Charles County anymore. The one on Rt. 5 in Waldorf used to be. If you work nights, like I do, then 24 hours is very convenient. The one in Target doesn't open till 9am and closes at 7pm. Not convenient for me. read more
