She lied and said they had no bathroom and I would have to go to pizza place next door. It's illegal in state of New York to deny restroom unless it's actually broken. But it was not. I accepted it. I had feeling she was Lieing so I asked another employee up front. I went and came back to tell her she shouldn't lie about that. She yelled and me and scared me she said excuse me stay here NOW and was trying to get out of her spot with "I'm going to get you eyes" and I ran away to front and bought my stuff then booked it. Again thank you to that man I will continue to come but avoid that pharmacy section from now on. There's never a line less than 30 minutes to pickup your prescription. My doctor sent in a prescription today, I called to see when the prescription would be ready for pickup and the pharmacist on the phone said it was ready now. I go and stand in line for 35 minutes today only to be told that the prescription was not ready and probably won't be for another two hours. Wow!! If you are picking up a prescription from this CVS plan to have a least an hour to wait in line. Never had less than a 35 minute wait for a prescription and only one person working the register. Can't get through to them on the phone either even after waiting 40 minutes on hold. read more

My doc faxed over a prescription. They wouldn't take it. I found out after two trips and waiting on a long line each time. They never contacted my doctor or me. This is the first and last time I will go to this pharmacy. It's clear that you will always have to wait on a long line at this location, and the staff is not pro-active if a problem comes up. I am recovering from COVID and ran out of the RX cough medicine I really need. CVS didn't even bother calling me to tell me it was ready but they called my husband for some reason, I walked all the way there while sick, no one on staff is even wearing a mask. The guy at the pharmacy could care less that they are out of my medicine. After waiting 20 minutes in line to get no help he told me I had to go wait in the other line so they could try to pick up the medicine from some other pharmacy. Now I wasted 40 minutes of my workday and I have to go all the way to jamaica just so I don't have another coughing attack. They need to get organized and have the staff wear masks this is a pharmacy during a pandemic, unacceptable!!! read more

Self service is at this location. Again, this is another CVS with a low employees to customer ratio. Do not expect fabulous service. An employee can only be one place at a time. Store is messy so it may take some extra time to find what you need. This CVS is in a prime location but unfortunately between extremely messy customers and not enough employees to pick up after them its a less than desirable store. read more

Staff is always short, maybe they are fatigued because it seems they don't know simple letters of the alphabet. I constantly have to shout ( I already have high blood pressure and a psychiatric condition so it doesn't help). The checkout machines always have a problem ( thank goodness the staff are always around to help quick). The staff is doing what they can I guess. Getting a prescription filled at the CVS pharmacy in Richmond Hill is a joke. On my birthday, 10/16, I visited my doctor and had my blood pressure medication refilled. That was Wednesday morning. Wednesday evening, I gave the pharmacy a call, just to make certain that it was received. The automated voice answering service said that my prescription is being processed. Fine. Today, two days later, I go there to pick it up. The girl at the pick up counter says she has no record of the script, and tells me go wait in the drop off line. The girl at the drop off window says, yes, we received your script on Wednesday, and we wrote back to the doctor that the medication has been replaced. We (the pharmacy) are awaiting his answer. When is the customer informed? When I told her that I did call, and the automated answer was it was being processed, she said, yes, the system really needs to be improved? REALLY? So here I am, thirty minutes later, in my house, and I think, "What if they have the wrong e-mail address for my doctor?" So I call the pharmacy five times in a row, and five times in a row the phone goes dead. I really should switch to mail order pharmacies. read more

MY go-to pharmacy in the neighborhood.. mostly because there's a huge parking lot and I don't like to waste time looking for street parking. Along with CVS, the complex has a pet store, pizza shop, etc. I always receive great customer service here and the wait time (line size) is never too long. Usually, I can walk in and pick up whatever I need within 10mins. I've never refilled my prescriptions here so I have no comment on the service in that area. I NEED to compliment the pharmacist who administered my flu shot, he's asian (sorry didn't get his name). His hands were so freakin light; I am honestly anxious of flu shots as I've had terrible pokers in the past; my time with him was like 2 mins and I didn't even felt a single pain, the pain level was like lightly pressing your nail against skin, that's it. I even asked him if were done because it was pain free and quick, that's a first! I am just amazed. Thanks to him and the wait time was less than 15 mins for check-in, paperwork and shot. I went into the pharmacy to fill my RX, the pharmacy tech, told me I should be receiving a text from cvs telling me my rx is ready to be picked up. I sat in the parking lot waiting and waiting probably for about 45 minutes. I saw the tech running out the pharmacy along with another tech.. I went into the pharmacy and saw the pharmacy was closed. The tech (African American) apparently never refilled my rx! If she was unable to fill the rx she should have told me so And not waste my time I had a flight to catch. I spoke to the manager. And he told me there's nothing he can do but he would ask what happened to my rx in the morning . read more

Unfortunately all of their product was out of place. Every time I picked up an item and went to purchase it I found out it was actually a different price than the label it was put over. The staff wasn't able to help me and wouldn't even honor that the product was mislabeled. Just my local CVS that helps me out when I am low on toiletries, cleaning supplies, or just need a quick snack from time to time. The people wandering around the store can get under your skin, but if you can get past that, and the fact that the self-check out machines are not the most user friendly if you do not follow directions, then you can get in and out without raising your stress level. This place has everything you need for everyday household goods. They always have sales, the coupon machine is flowing with coupons, and CVS is always emailing me 25% off coupons weekly. if i could give this pharmacy a -3 i would , waited 3 days for a prescription of prednisone only to find out they don't carry the 20mg pills, some white coat told me to ask the doctor to change the script to 10mg pills twice a day which i did , went there the very next day and a tech proceeds to tell me they don't have any and need to place the order ( why not place the order when the doctor sends it would make sense right ) for 10mgs , now i'm not a genius nor a pharmacist but it's clear that they don't give a flying you know what about their customers.
