These are items that should be sold in a Sex shop not on the shelf of a one of the largest pharmacy chains. These items are literally in your face while standing in line, which is absolutely appalling. To be honest the pharmacy is fast and employees are nice so this is not a representation of their work ethics however it disgust me so much I plan on switching pharmacies.

On 12/7/25 I went to the doctors and was prescribed 2 different medicines. The Kaufman, Tx CVS is…read moreonly about a mile from my doctors. We were notified by my doctors office that they had submitted the prescriptions to CVS. While running a few other errands in the area I called CVS to verify they received the prescriptions from my Dr. They did, however, say they had an issue with one of them and said they sent a message to my Dr for an explanation which, of course, meant I had to make another trip back to Kaufman in my Ram 3500 diesel. No problem, I get that things unforeseen happens. I arrived the next day at the Kaufman CVS at 1:05pm thinking that was plenty of time between yesterday and today to get things squared away. When i got to the counter I was told they haven't yet heard from the dr's office. I called my dr's office and they right away called CVS back. I then got a call from my dr's office saying it got taken care of. I went back up to the counter (I was the only customer in line at this point, NO ONE waiting behind me) and asked if they heard from my dr. After a few words I understood that the situation between CVS and my dr's office got squared away and I would be able to get the prescriptions. Mind you, it's not yet 1:30pm - !:30pm is when ALL of the pharmacy is closed for lunch - not half now and half later to keep things moving - ALL. Anyway, I want to reiterate that it's not 1:30pm yet, it was actually about 1:20pm when this tall guy dressed in blue tells me to come back at 2pm to get my prescription. I asked why can't I just get it now and basically was told, I don't want to. He refused to tell me why and just gave weird answers. We had a few more words, nothing rude or any cussing to each other but with raised voices. Nothing he said made any sense. I ended up leaving and when I checked the time it was EXACTLY 1:30pm!!! Instead of wanting to take an extra minute or 2 to satisfy/help a customer he would rather argue with them and make them wait for 30 min, what a waste and is the worst customer service I've seen in a long time. I will definitely be checking into going to an alternate pharmacy. One last thing, I'm not from this area, only visiting. Very bad impression from this CVS.

Then I'm told I can't be checked out at the register I have to self check out because I didn't give a phone number. The ONLY reason to go here is price. However, I decided it's worth it to pay $50 more for my prescription and go to Kroger instead. This pharmacy is God awful. I avoid Walmart, but my wife said "just try them"....I did and they are still TERRIBLE! Walmart will always be terrible on service and competitive on price. It's official, I will not enter a Walmart for at least the next decade. Amazon is king! Can't wait until Amazon does prescriptions and Walmart is done. Did I mention that I hate Walmart? The drive-thru is a complete mess. We got a call saying the medication was ready, so we headed over. After sitting in line for 30 minutes (yes, I had to shut off the car to save gas), we finally got to the window, only to be told the medication wasn't ready. They asked us to drive back around and start over. Seriously? And if you're thinking, "Why not just go inside?", don't bother. I've tried that too. The same person handling the drive-thru is the one helping people inside. I've literally walked around the store for over an hour waiting to be called. Avoid this location if you can. It's chaos, inside and out.
