I was honestly shocked by the customer service at this CVS. While I'm visiting the area, I've been stopping in almost every day, and only one employee has consistently been kind and helpful--Sheryl. She is always friendly, relaxed, and treats customers with respect. Unfortunately, most of the other employees have been rude. Today, after coming from the beach, I urgently needed eye drops because I could barely see from the salt water. After I paid, my receipt was emailed to me, so I politely asked the cashier if I could use a mirror to put in my eye drops. Instead of simply helping, she responded with an attitude, asking if I had checked in first. I explained that another employee had rung me up, but she still wasn't pleasant. This is about the fourth time I've had an unfriendly experience here. I hope management speaks with the staff about customer service because it makes a big difference. Sheryl is the exception--she's wonderful and deserves recognition. read more

The cashier was very nice and helpful. My extra bucks coupon wasn't scanning so she processed it for me at the register and it went through. This cvs specifically was a HUGE selection of snacks and drinks for the road. Highly recommend! read more

Pretty crappy when you have one day left to get a script, so you go on a Sunday.., arrive minutes before 5pm (As their website states they close at 5pm) And the windows are down & you see them walking out. So I stopped the pharmacy woman & asked the l if she could help me, since it's not 5pm YET, and she was RUDE as can be & said no. (What I did to even get here by this time, is another story) Mind you this is a sleepy beach town CVS... we all know one another. We usually take care of our own, so this is VERY upsetting to say the least. I also called 3 times as I was speeding over there, to make sure to tell them I would arrive just minutes before 5pm & have them prepared & my script ready to go. Do you think they answered? No. Why would they want any extra work at the end of their day.. Pretty frustrating. If I could be there sooner, I would be. If I could have been there DURING the week, I would have been. This was the only rime I had , and mind you if a business closes at 5, you close at 5. Not 4.50pm, especially when you're dealing with people's LIVES, and working people that need their medication. Chris, the pharmacist, went above & beyond the call of duty when United Healthcare tried to dictate the dosage for my prescription. As soon as she saw the dosing plan recommended by my doctor, she developed a work-around. in addition, her solution decreased the cost of my prescription by over 40%. Win-win! Truly, avoid this pharmacy at all costs. Am very ill. Called to check on prescriptions sent by my doctor. Person who answered phone spoke to me as if I'd committed a crime. Cut me off in mid sentence several times. They advertise that they will deliver. Nurse Wretched says no. In her Lily Tomlin impression of a pinched faced telephone operator, she impatiently says they can either send it thorough the mail or it has to be ordered through SHIP. Whatever that is. The pharmacist Briana was extremely helpful to set up elderly parents in the CVS pharmacy computer database. Called Medicaid helpline to ensure all data was correct and matched parents information. Store staff were very friendly and helpful. read more

My son needed Sudafed for his respiratory allergies. At 6:00 p.m. on a Saturday evening, while he was already in the store purchasing ibuprofen for his sinus headache, the pharmacists shut down their windows. He begged them through the window to sell him medicine to treat his respiratory condition. They were behind the window, listening to his request and didn't even have the courtesy to answer him. Horrible. They wouldn't fill my boyfriend's prescription for Norcos because of the way he looks. At first they said they didn't have it and to come back next week. The next week they said they had it but won't give it to him. Probably because he's young and tattooed. They wouldn't even call his doctor like his doctor asked them to do. They said "there would be no point." So now he has to spend his vacation in pain because no other pharmacies near by accept his insurance. read more

I was just denied quarters, that I specified for when asking for my cash back, because "they need them and can't give them out." I asked for them because I need air in my tires and they gave me one dollar. I pleaded for another 50 cents in quarters and the rest in dimes and was told it just couldn't happen. Because lord knows an hour and a half before you close is the vital time for pocket change. A whole crowd of slot machine gamblers could come by any minute now! And then where would we be?!? Because I live within 2 blocks of this store, I am in and out many times during the week. They all go out of their way to help their customers and be extremely welcoming when you walk in the door or ask for help. The manager is somewhat distant but running a store in a popular tourist neighborhood is a lot of responsibility, which I assume is the reason why she is not as kind as the rest of the employees. Briana, the Pharmacist is extremely sweet and goes out of her way to call me in order to make sure that I am aware that they have a prescription waiting to be picked up. She will also call my Dr to get a new prescription that I am needing. I can not list all the many things these people do for all of us. I do not see them treating any 1st time visitor any different than they do long time residents. This is a smaller store that caters to the beach clientele but they try their very best to go out of their way to help everyone. Some people can not find anything good to say about anyone or any place. Please do not always believe a negative review. Most people around here try hard to make visitors feel comfortable while all of us have to change our personal lifestyle while vacationers come here to visit. We can not get a table in a restaurant and we must sit in traffic daily and add an additional 30 minutes onto our daily schedules. Those who have a business do make money off of our guests but most of us do not get rewarded for the headaches we must endure. The best way we see the good in our triple numbers during season except for the the possibility of making new friends. Try to look for the good in any place you visit because we are all trying extremely hard. read more

This is probably the best store I've been to that is a CVS. Even though they are tinier than the other stores I've been to, they carry a large array of products. I can get everything I need conveniently at this store. The pharmacy is wonderful, the staff is helpful and the pharmacists are always helping everyone as much as they can whenever I'm in there. Even though it is usually crazy busy, the staff takes time to care for each patient. 10/10 place!! read more
