The women who work the desk are nice but very busy. They try their best. The pharmacist has a big attitude and is quick and not helpful. I just witnessed him turn an older woman away who had a Question and he told her he was closing for lunch and told her to back away from the corner and he then pulled the gate closed in her face. I have been to this CVS on many occasions. Three times alone in the past week. (I am usually "on the Cape" three to four times a year for periods of four to ten + days).... Several days prior to Christmas I needed a prescription to be called in by a doctor from Pennsylvania. The person I spoke with at the pharmacy was EXTREMELY helpful. Then when I picked up the script, the woman at the pharmacy counter was so friendly and courteous. All three people who have helped me at checkout (front of the store have been stellar) even when the line was wrapped around the isle on Christmas Eve. And I wrote everyone's name down and am having difficulty remembering - of course. There is even one woman (employee) who helped me so much in the aisle (with eye cream). I have those names somewhere. Otherwise it's another excuse to go in to use my extra bucks. read more

KATHERINE supposably the manager picked up the phone and said "hi" I go is this the pharmacy?... she goes "yeah" well I called to see if they had a prescription and she hung up on me?! I doubt she is the manager and if she is the manager she should get that taken away from her. Things have not improved since Jock's review in 2013. I had heard horror stories about this particular store and they were all true. I guess their vacuum had broken overnight as the floor was covered in debris, a nice welcoming sign. The pharmacy did not have what I needed but did call to see if the medication was at North Steet, which it was. Best thing to do is drive past it and make a right on Lincoln which is about half a mile down. Rite Aid is on the left and the bottom of the road. read more

I had a very negative experience at this CVS. I am at the Cape on vacation and had a prescription called in. I wasn't sure which CVS in Hyannis so I called the Falmouth Road CVS. I was on hold for 15 minutes so finally just drove over there. The assistant behind the counter was very unhelpful and downright rude. The prescription wasn't there and she couldn't help me locate it. There were also at least 2 customers in the store (teenagers) without masks on and when I mentioned it to the cashier he just shrugged. There were many elderly customers in the pharmacy being put at risk. In a PHARMACY. Iwill also report this on the state hotline. Very annoying way to spend my morning. read more

I don't normally do this and only made my Yelp account to share my experience with this CVS Pharmacy. I typically only have to visit the pharmacy a couple times a year and I have noticed how extremely rude the staff is at this location. Recently My wife asked me to pick up a prescription for her. I drove over and pulled up in the drive thru line. I was greeted by an extremely angry women. I gave her the name and in a respectful way spelt it also as the name has a unique spelling. The woman slammed the window and walked away. Slamming the window forcefully in my face, intermittently asking me questions and quickly cutting me off mid sentence would happen 6-7 times over the next several minuets. When she found the prescription in her system she made sure to open the window and inform me that I gave her the wrong spelling of my wife of 17 years name before slamming the window in my face again. At that point I decided that was enough and I asked her why she was being so nasty and rude to me. She then for the last time slammed the window in my face. I watched through the window as she handed the prescription off to another women in the pharmacy. The second women came over to the window and gave me the total and I handed her my card. When she handed me my credit card receipt to sign I asked her why the other lady was so mean and she quickly snapped and me and said "I have nothing to do with this", so then asked to speak to the manager and she replied "I am the manager". I asked her how does she have nothing to do with this if she is the manager of that employee? She demanded the signed receipt from me. From there I asked her for both of their names and she refused to give them to me and told me that if I had a complaint I should call 1800 -CVS and slammed the sliding window in my face one last time. I am a nice person and treat everyone I come into contact with everyday with respect and kindness. I was disgusted with the way I was treated by them. read more

Consumer Value Stores (CVS). Nothing could be further from the truth. Non pharmacy items are overpriced with a very poor selection. When a pharmacies main source of income is the candy isle it's time to find a different store to shop. The pharmacy staff is rude, curt and arrogant. If there happens to be any sort of problem with a prescription, they are completely unwilling and unable to handle the situation. Going back to basic customer service training would be a great start for all of them. Do yourself a favor and travel down the road to Rite Aid on West Main Street. Rite Aid has great people, great service and terrific prices. read more

My family has been using CVS pharmacy for the past 25 years. We living in the Boston area, but have been down the Cape for the past month due to COVID. We need some medication for my son and I went to the store 3 times and the woman in the pharmacy was absolutely obnoxious, condescending and rude. After a 4 try over the phone to have her correct the insurance information they had on file, which was 4 years old, we still could not get her to correct the insurance. She eventually hung up the phone on my wife. If you want to treated like rubbish then use this CVS. If not go to Walgreens. We switched all our scripts to Walgreens for good. read more

CVS Hyannis/Centerville as well as CVS Corporate don't even deserve one star. This is the worst run company on the planet. I had to speak to 10 people today and was on-hold for a total of 2 1/2 hours. They have untrained staff who likes to pass the buck when they can't figure something out. Someone in Corporate actually admitted that the stores will often send people to them so they don't have to deal with a problem. I have Carepass, for which I am charged a monthly fee, and all I wanted was to have my meds mailed to me. A monkey could have done this. After my ordeal, they suggested I get the CVS Carepass APP because it was almost impossible to make any changes in person, on the website or via the phone. Warning: If they are so incredibly incompetent, just be very careful that your prescriptions are filled correctly. What a scary place. read more

Going to this pharmacy is like jumping into a cage with lions. The Pharmacy staff lack simple customer service and communication skills. They are rude and utterly act disgusted that they have to do their jobs and attend to you. I would hate to see these people outside of their place of work because I bet their whole life is just one miserable rerun. Every time I go into this store I feel like a burden to them just to obtain my prescriptions nobody has ever once smiled or been pleasant. Every single interaction they have been miserable.... or they mess up my prescription or "forget" to fill it even though I called on the phone to remind them. I work in healthcare and I understand everyone is short staffed but you still need to treat customers with respect and decency no matter how short staffed you are. read more

The selection isn't very wide for certain things. The people in the pharmacy department can be quite rude and actually argued with me on a prescription I had. Management did nothing to rectify the situation. However, it's very close to home so I'll come here if I absolutely need something. read more

Since I cannot find where to review the CVS in Marstons Mills, my comments are about that location -- and they are not good. I must start with a compliment -- the staff I have dealt with regarding prescriptions have been quite helpful. The pharmacist -- not so much. Loves to lecture, mansplain, and once told me my physician was wrong. (He wasn't, but I told him what Matt said). While having a recent problem, the very helpful pharmacist assistant suggested I talk with Matt (about the pills for my headaches) and I said I would rather deal the headaches than deal with Matt, who for sure would give me a headache. Even my NP said she has had trouble with CVS pharmacists. read more

The pharmacy has some of the most miserable, incompetent and uncaring people around. I dropped off 2 prescriptions at the same time on Weds to be picked up today, the clerk checked and both were in stock, foresaw no problems. Go thru drive-thru today, only 1 available, so I ask the lady (one of the worst) if she could check on the other one as there is nobody else in line. She says it's against company policy (they've done it for me before), and I would have to call or come inside. NBD, maybe it's still in the works and I have other errands to run, I'll check back later, but before I pull away I say "you used to be able to just look it up, maybe I oughta go back to Rite-Aid", to which she replies "Rite-Aid is right down the street, ask for Abby, maybe you'd be better off" and shuts the drive-thru window. About 5 hours later, getting impatient, I call, and the girl says "oh, it's right here, it'll be ready in an hour". Calling my doctor on Monday and having everything of mine and my aging and ailing (lots of meds) mother switched to Rite-Aid. read more

I have been using this pharmacy for over two years because it is between my doctor's office and home. My prescriptions have been the same in this two years and are supposed to be on automatic refill. EVERY month they make a mistake -- usually forgetting one or more refills. I have had to make up to three trips to get the order right and if I set a bit upset they treat me as if I was the one messing up. The store staff is always nice, friendly and helpful, but the pharmacy staff makes you feel like a criminal for bothering them. And they will argue with you in front of other customers. read more

This place is so poorly run, I am amazed that they are still in business. If it wasn't for the convenience, I never would have "dropped the anvil on my foot" so many times. Recently, I phoned in two prescriptions, only to have them screw up both of them. One, I was supposed to get a 90 day supply (so I wouldn't have to go through the uncaring, overstaffed, ineptitudious, idiots who work there) but they gave me only 30 days and another prescription for which I had to make TWO return trips, so they could make it right. All of this AFTER they had called me to let me know that my prescriptions were ready. ADIOS, muchachos! My business has now left the building. I shop at CVS often, but usually go to the store in Marstons Mills, where folks are friendly and helpful. I just had a ridiculous experience with a cashier, and rather than demand a manager, I just walked out. If you use their store card/coupons and the cashier knows basic math, shopping at CVS can be a real bargain. However if you get a rude cashier who doesn't understand how to add, you've just wasted a bunch of valuable time. There were a bunch of racks lying on the floor that I promptly tripped over in my effort to get out of there as quickly as possible.. Not good considering I'm trying to recover from full knee replacement. I know good help is hard to find, but they should at least be able to find polite help. Avoid this place. Both the CVS and Rite Aid in Marstons Mills are much better stores with much nicer and far more capable employees. read more

I am an older woman and have gone to many Pharmacies in my day and have never been treated as poorly as this store. I went last summer trying to fill a prescription and the person at the time gave me a very hard time about filling it and was not willing to help me with a coupon issue ( I decided that in fairness I would try them again today). Today I went back for more of the same treatment. I had a prescription for my dog originally called into another CVS in Hyannis. They did not have the med so they called it in to the centerville CVS store. I went to pick it up and when I arrived they had filled it with a brand name for 97.00 the person I was dealing with wouldn't even give me the price for the generic until my vet called it in again . I left and went to another store that was happy to give me a generic price . I told them about my Experience at that CVS store and two of the employees said they use to work at that horrible CVS store. I ended up having my Vet call the prescription to a mail away Pharmacy and was able to get it for 26.00. The North Street CVS is scary to go into. The rotary CVS doesn't have the Meds and the Centerville CVS is loaded with rude employees. read more
