I have come here a couple of times to use their Minute Clinic as there aren't many left around town. Care is quick and efficient and they are able to send any required prescriptions directly to the pharmacy. Wait times were as expected, but you do need to make appointments now to ensure you are able to be seen. read more

They are convenient and well stocked with a wide variety of products. They are usually courteous and very helpful. Their own products are sometimes subpar to the major brands. I had a bad experience with CVS brand athletic tape. It was so sticky that when I removed it from my arm, it tore off some skin from the tender inner side of my elbow! read more

I have been patronizing this pharmacy for over 10 years and regularly shopping here for beauty items, grocery, etc. several times per week for two years. I visited CVS 88 times in 2019 (see screenshot for evidence) and spent hundreds of dollars there. After today, I will NEVER shop at CVS again. The pharmacist would not fill my prescription because I was using worker's comp insurance. She would not call the 24/7 customer service number on the prescription card to get the information for approval. Worse, the customer in line behind me at the drive through was some kind of bigot who yelled and cursed at me for "taking too long" at the window. Mind you, I had waited in line TWICE to get this prescription filled and still ended up leaving without it. Not worth the drama with rude, entitled customers and poor customer service from the pharmacist. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Even though this location has a variety of products to shop, they have horrible customer service. They have 2 self checkout. A older lady was at one and I see a young worker with a bonnet on her head sipping on a drink with a straw sitting on top of the counter next to the woman while talking to a man. I walk up to use the next one and she yells out across the other lady "it card only okay honey." First of all I am way older than her, that is not how you address anyone because you don't know me. I have work managerial at several retail places and she would be wrote up. I didn't look up to address her behavior and she just laughed and didn't come to speak to me. When I walked away, I assume the manager was walking up and she hurried and jumped off the counter. SMH read more

The NP Ngozi Ugwuoke gave me a false positive TB skin test result - seems like she doesn't know what she's doing. I had to go in 3-4 times because this provider takes too long & she is often the only provider there. I waited the second time for 40 minutes (after their lunch time) & so I left - it did not seem like there was any provider there. Next appointment she got me in at 2:20 when my appointment was at 2pm. I told her I waited for 40 minutes the previous day & she asked me why I left -- I told her because it did not seem like anyone was going to see me??? Lastly, when she checked my TB skin test she read it as positive. My mom has been a nurse for years & has done TB tests herself, she saw it and knew it couldn't be positive. Because of this provider I had to go to another CVS location and get the blood-draw TB test (quantiferon) to make sure I wasn't positive. Just got the call with my results & this NP informed me that my quantiferon results were normal. So upset that this provider wasted my time on multiple locations & inconvenienced me & made me drive to a farther CVS location because she cannot do her job right. I have asked for help from employee named Marcus and he refused to help me for no reason. It is by far the worst customer service where the employee flat out refused to help a customer and after I left talked sh** to about me to another customer. He literally said you are free to leave because I won't help you. After I said I needed help he said he is done with me. Needless to say I will never be back at this CVS. Great Place to get prescriptions and pretty much anything else you may need. 10/10 recommended

The pharmacy staff at this location have gotten multiple prescriptions wrong over the years we have been coming here, the last mistake was only filling half of the amount of tablets that the doctor wrote the prescription for. Last night, after speaking with my doctor's office, I tried multiple times to call and speak to a human - I ended up calling six or seven times, waiting on hold 10-20 minutes each time, only for them to hang up on me every time. Their work gets sloppier and sloppier every time I have to have a prescription filled. Honestly, I am shocked they haven't killed someone. I try to be empathetic toward the pressures they are subjected to. I have friends who are pharmacists and I know that COVID has really played a number on us all. However, I think it's time to start reporting them to the State Board of Pharmacy. read more

I use CVS all the time for my pharmacy needs, but this one is way more inefficient than the rest. For example, I called the pharmacy earlier this morning at 9:00am and I am still on hold (I've gotten dressed, dry cleaning dropped off, and now on the way to an appointment). As I'm typing this review, someone came on the line and pressed a few numbers, waited a second, pressed another number and I was back on hold. This happened again- each time with me saying "hello" repeatedly. The third time it happened, after pressing more numbers and me trying to talk to them, they finally hung up on me. I'm very glad I continued on with my day while they had me on hold as that would have been an hour of my day wasted had I not. However, I still can't order my refill and will have to drive there now just to ask them to refill my medication. What's interesting is that there were 5-6 people working at the pharmacy yesterday and they are still this inefficient. I am now debating about going back to my previous CVS across town because they were a lot more responsive. It is unfortunate that I have to add an extra 20 minutes to my drive time just because of this current location's inefficiency. read more

I don't understand what kind of customer service these pharmacists think they are providing when they lie about not receiving the prescription order from the doctor who called it in twice while I was with him. When I called the following day to check on my son's prescription who urgently needed it, they said they never heard from the doctor. I reached out to the doctor a third time and the doctor said when he called CVS on 3939 Bellaire Blvd in Houston, TX, the pharmacist told him she never heard from the doctor. The doctor immediately said "I AM THE DOCTOR" and the pharmacist responded immediately with apologies that she was busy with the customer. This is the worst customer service with the worst excuse that they give you any answer, right or wrong, without doing their do diligence to check on the prescription that the patient urgently needs. I am so disappointed at CVS and extremely tired of their lies. I will reach out to their corporate and file a major complaint on them. THEY ARE WORTHLESS. Beware of their lies. Never believe them when they tell you they never heard from the doctor or never received the order from the doctor. They never check and never inquire. It's an answer they give you to end the call. The store is laid out like a typical CVS, though this location seemed dark and dingy. Numerous carpet squares have been replaced with mismatched colors, and those that haven't appeared soiled. Stock on a lot of items was low, and the toothpaste section rather disorganized. There was a button to push for customer assistance but no one responded, and as I ventured around the store seeking help, the only employee I found was one line person manning a register. read more

I can say it was the worst experience I've every had. I needed a passport photo for my 1 year old baby. I went directly to the photo center. One of the employees was there that ignored me and left the desk. I called her (I didn't mention anything about photo) and she looked at me very angry and said: we don't take photo! I told her what this sign was. She looked at me very angry and said: "I told you we don't do it!" Then left. I was very upset because it was not easy for me to go somewhere with a baby and someone mistreat me like this. I called the manager... the other day someone called me and ask me to go back there to take the photo. I went there today (it is close to my house. It's more convenient to go there with a baby). The same lady said: "our camera doesn't work!" And referred me to someone else and asked her to tell me the camera doesn't work. Long story short! Their camera worked very well. The third person, Lindsey, was more rude than other staffs. She took a blurry photo and cut the top part of the photo from my baby's hair. I asked to fix it and she said that's what it is. At the end I wanted to finish it and leave. I said thank you she didn't even look at me. I'm sure she has a half of my age. They were really rude and unprofessional. I'm still waiting for a prescription ordered last week that went to a Central Fill warehouse in Dallas and has not been delivered or tracked since then. No one seems to know whether this has been delivered or not or when it will be. CVS.com has been no better at informing me about my maintenance drug and its delivery to the store. Apparently my insurance is being charged until they either deliver or cancel but no one can tell me more, or when it will arrive. read more

I am a physician and I called in a prescription for diabetic strips. The patient could not get the strips as the pharmacist insisted that the number of strips was not specified. The patient called me and the tech (who is outstanding) asked me to call the official line and speak to the pharmacist. I waited on the phone for over 30 minutes! No one answered while the patient waited. The patient let me know that the tech reminded the pharmacist to answer the phone. The pharmacist looked at the patient and ignored him. This is what happens when these large chains drive out mom and pop stores. We the consumers are to blame. I remember when all the CVS and Walgreen's were 24 hours. They use to have great service. This allowed them to drive out the competition. Now that the competition is gone, they have reverted to normal hours. We no longer have much choice. As with all monopolies, the service degrades. read more

The cashier Ganya, asked if I had the 13 cents for a $5.13 purchase after I gave her a $20. I said no and then she proceeded to give me $14, I walked out and realized what she had done and went right back in and asked her if they just keep peoples change now, she said "You said you didn't have change". After I confronted her about basically stealing $.87, she all of the sudden found change in another register. I will not be returning, I had been shopping here every day on the way to work. I would warn people to check your change before you leave the store, because they're just stealing it right in front of you. read more

Worst experience with Mjnute Clinic on Belllaire. They give you an inaccurate 2-7 hour wait time, even with appointment scheduled. Then if you aren't within the area or at the store, which who has the time to wait 2-7 hours, they tell you you need to reschedule, which I did, they called me, missed the call, I immediately called back letting them know i would be arriving behind schedule and was on hold for 18 minutes and never got through, by the time I arrived my code had expired and was rudely greeted by a health care professional. Even after explaining. This place should really work on its patient/customer service. They can do 10x better! read more

My daughter had a scheduled appt for 5:30 with the Minute Clinic for a sore throat and due to covid-19 was instructed via confirmation email to wait in car for them to call. Waited for 20 minutes. Wow, this is quite possibly the worst run pharmacy I have ever encountered. My experience last week was so bad that I called CVS customer relations and put in a formal complaint. No one called me back, despite my request for a callback. This store gave me a prescription that was six months expired, did not have a prescription ready that had been sent to them the day before, and the ladies restroom was a filthy abomination with two empty soap dispensers which means- if it's also the restroom the female employees use- good luck with the safety and hygiene of the prescriptions you are receiving. Myself, my mother-in-law, and my husband are transferring our prescriptions elsewhere immediately, which is a shame since this pharmacy is right around the corner from our home. read more

I'm currently filing a MALPRACTICE/NEGLIGENCE complaint against one of the NPs at the clinic who said that he conducted tests and issued diagnoses that he did not in order to charge for a "detailed" visit. When I called the MinuteClinic support they didn't seem too concerned that they have an NP who is lying on medical forms and said they would "handle it internally." I don't believe them and will moving forward in attempting to ensure that only qualified, honest professionals are treating patients. I urge you to stay away from this clinic. read more

Visited the minuteclinic, literally only for a prescription that I needed, and I was told that based on my insurance, I should be covered, and if not I'd get a bill in the mail within a couple weeks. Fast forward a couple MONTHS, and I got a $60 bill in the mail. I had to call my insurance who had to call them and apparently they didn't have my insurance information or the correct info, although I had provided it. I was told I was good. Fast forward ANOTHER MONTH. I receive a $35 bill in the mail. It's not that much money but it's absolutely ridiculous that this happened in SEPTEMBER 2016 and LAST WEEK is when I get the bill, again. read more
