If I could give this place no stars, I would. This place was horrible when they were in the mini…read morestrip mall that's right across the street from their currently location. Since Rockwood tore down the old Speedway and built the building that Rite Aid is now in, it's gotten even worse. This place has been HORRIBLE for AT LEAST the past 10 years. Here's just a FEW bad experiences: -A few years ago they refused to even take my methadone script that I'd received (and had been receiving for years) from my PCP. I'd been on the medication for 2-3 years at the time and my doctor is in Monroe. For whatever reason, I went to Rite Aid to fill it (which I rarely do) and they wouldn't even take the script. I honestly can't remember the reason why, but, I do remember it was some BS. I remember the lady saying to me, "this is a very serious and highly controlled narcotic". Yeah, no kidding lady. What's your point? -There have been SEVERAL times that I tried to get my Neurontin scripts filled there and upon going to pick it up, they'd take forever to get it for me because of varying excuses. Either they couldn't find it, they had no record of it, they didn't have it in their system, whatever. A lot of headaches. -The final straw, for me, was when I went in there earlier this week to buy 2 singles with 8 quarters. Something I've done there dozens of times. Matter of fact, before this week, I'd just done it the week before. The guy claimed to me that he couldn't because, "you have to buy something to me to open the drawer". I told him what I said here, that I'd just bought a couple singles w/ quarters a week ago. He repeated what he said the first time. As I walked out, I said to him, "I'm not going to give you a hard time, but, I just want you to know that I know you're lying because I've done this a bunch of times here. I don't know WHY you're lying, but, I know you are". After this, I wouldn't even use their parking lot to park in.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are from, pharmacists have the legal right to refuse any prescription for any reason. They rarely do, you have to appear drunk or high or have a poorly written script for them to refuse you. And showing up 2 minutes before closing and not getting good service is typical of any store not just "corporate stores"

Horrid customer service. I have never experienced such cold and callous behavior from anyone. You…read morestate there's an issue with the doctors order. Said doctor calls to clarify. Then I receive an out of stock text. So, I call to ask exactly what the issue is - doctor or stock????? Then, I am told the medication will be in stock in two days, and if there is an issue I will be contacted. I call when I do not receive any communication regarding the status to confirm readiness. I am then told another two days until stock arrives. I then asked for a pharmacy manager. A very, extremely, unhelpful pharmacist advised no pharmacy manager would be available until Monday and only then asked if I would like them to check other location stock. I declined and advised I requested my doctor to call in the script to another pharmacy due to the need for my medication. This was on a Thursday. I then called the main customer service line. They transferred me to the "store director", who was the frozen foods team lead for the evening as the store director was not in. She peppered me with unacceptable, HIPPA violating questions, instructed me to go the ER if it was an issue and then hung up on me. I called the main customer service line again. They couldn't even get through to the store. I was then advised someone would contact me on Monday. I opened a case via the online customer service portal. I was again advised someone would contact me on Monday. When I heard nothing on Monday I reached out. The store director then emailed me asking me for times I was available to discuss the issue. I immediately responded and received no response and no call. I again emailed customer service. I paid out of pocket for my script at the "new" pharmacy because Meijer had already billed my insurance. That's fine with me, but now I have to speak to someone at the Flat Rock pharmacy to fix the billing issue, so I can be reimbursed from my insurance. This is a never ending loop of idiocracy. I emailed the regional pharmacy director. He called me and left a message as I was unable to answer the phone. He is supposed to call me back tomorrow. I am looking forward to speaking with him; however, I will never patronize this store again.

This is by far my favorite pharmacy around. In all honestly, it took a LOT for me to write a review…read moreother than FOOD! However, this place is awesome for a few reasons: 1.) They are always available and happy to help with any questions or concerns. 2.) Many of the pharmacists and the techs know my husband and me by name, and always greet us and ask us how things are going. 3.) They are helpful when it comes to insurance. Our insurance was giving us the run-around about our inhalers...in addition to the fact their site went down and made it look like we were trying to get double of the same thing. Long story short, one pharmacist went out of his way to call us AFTER he had called the ins. company and straightened everything out. I noticed it was about 10 min. before the pharmacy closed; he went above and beyond, and could have easily put it off until the next day. 4.) They warn you if the medication will be expensive ahead of time. 5.) If insurance won't cover something, they do everything possible to help you financially with the medication (manufacturers coupons/ programs/suggestions for your doctor/etc.). Finally, even though they deal with a lot of irate, irritated, elderly, and frustrated people, they always remain super pleasant and prompt. Thanks for making script refills as painless as possible!

These pharmacists act like gods amongst men. I came in ten to six for a prescription of 6 pills. He talked to another customer for 7 mins before walking up and saying I can't fill this before even looking at the paper? The pompous ass behind the counter obviously hates his life as the old adage goes misery loves company. ‍ I am going to go pray for this man to find a women, or god. Because he has been rude 2/3 times I came to pick or drop off a prescription I go to west village pharmacy for my prescriptions and they are fantastic compared to this guy. They even call you on your birthday. They are supposed to be there to help you, but for some reason they think they are their to make their own times and act like complete and udder dickheads.
