This is a brand new store replacing the location at Washington and Stone Roads. I like the set up of the store and it is much larger. Dropped in here on a Sunday before church to get some candy and ran into customers scooping up Scott Paper Towels. That was indication there was a sale with coupons in store and manufacturer. Love the fact that they take both sets of coupons. Love a deal. Also love the coupon machine. You never know what might pop out. The employees were very friendly at this location as well. read more

If CVS wants to make this store better I would literally fire everyone that currently works there and start over from scratch. They will NEVER see me again. There were about 6 homeless people standing in front of the door, felt so unsafe. The lady in pharmacy was so rude. She made me wait when no one was around. She never looked me in my face nor did she smile. I never heard anything back about the prescription I ordered in person. I ended up going to the CVS in the local Target to switch it over. Basically the shittiest customer service I have ever experienced at ANY pharmacy. About a year ago, they instituted a *new policy* to both shorten their pharmacy hours and also to close mid-day for lunch--without notifying anyone or even updating this on their CVS website. Hard to say how anyone with a normal day job will be able to pick up their prescriptions here! I stopped by this location today to pick to two new prescriptions and they were sure to announce every two minutes that "if you aren't up at the counter by our lunchtime, you will have to come back". Just the craziest lack of customer service I have seem in years. Also, if you have a drug company discount card, they are NOT willing to call the company's pharmacist line to clear up ANY registration or pricing details. Finally, my spouse also got a new prescription today and there was ABSOLUTELY NO consultation or guidance on this potentially harmful drug--because THEY WANTED TO GO ON THEIR LUNCH BREAK! Deplorable. Unbelievably inept and uncaring staff in the pharmacy of this location. I actually had already moved my prescriptions to Walgreens ( even though the location of this CVS is MUCH more convenient ) when I get a notice from my PREVIOUS insurance company that the pharmacy at this location billed them for a medication I had filled in April. Now my previous insurance wants reimbursed the $284.14 they paid CVS. Guess what ?!! CVS is SO sorry, but there's nothing they can do about it since it happened in April. Aka. Say what you want about the place , but they gone come thru every time. I pick up my meds here and I may even buy a few snacks or some essentials. Folks on here just doing their job and seems like since the pandemic began, customers want to give these folks a hard time. All I can say is keep your nasty attitudes at home. Tyler in the pharmacy needs some coaching with customer service. 2 months ago my wife is having the worst pregnancy nausea and a migraine. After scrambling around town I finally get a prescription and am supposed to pick it up from cvs. Not knowing that the pharmacy had shorter hours that day, I walk into the pharmacy as the gate is being closed on my face. I ask Tyler if there is any way I can pay up front as I know the prescription has been filled. Tyler says sorry come back tomorrow. It's literally 1 minute past posted hours. I ask Tyler if there is any way I can pay up front at their cash registers or have it filled at a cvs that is 24/7. Tyler tells me he has no idea, it's not his problem, come back tomorrow, read the posted hours. Today I was looking in the aisles for some sleep aids for my wife and I see Tyler being very rude to an older man, who claims to have paid a month ago for something he never picked up, and that Tyler confirmed that he would keep the payment in the system. The man is old, he's talking all confused, but it's very clear to anyone with clear sense what he's communicating, but Tyler just sits there and becomes hostile and agitated, raising his voice at an elderly man that the man can't just get free medicine. The old man is totally calm but trying to communicate clearly, but Tyler just keeps making an easily manageable situation a confrontation. This guy has no sense of customer service, and no respect for the clientele. He has a smug, rude tone with every interaction I've seen him have with customers. read more

I was diagnosed with the flu Friday. My doctor sent my prescription to CVS in East Point on Main St. I was hesitant about letting her send it to that particular location because I have had negative experiences at this pharmacy. It's the closest pharmacy that was open when I left urgent care. Of course when I arrived they didn't have Tamiflu in. The pharmacy tech advised me to have my prescription transferred to another pharmacy. I called around until I found a pharmacy that had Tamiflu. However, CVS want answer the phone so that the pharmacist can confirm the transfer and fill the prescription. I've been calling the urgent care to see if they can just send the prescription to Walgreens and they aren't answering. I just have to sit here and suffer when there are meds that will help me feel better! I will absolutely never go to this CVS again. read more

I have been using a CVS in RI for 25 or so years. That store is well stocked, clean, have few things locked up? And I have always been treated with respect and friendliness. I cannot say the same about the CVS in East Point. Many of, but not all, the employees lack common curtesy. I am amazed at how rudely I was treated on two occasions, even had the phone hung up on me. The store seems dirty. Prescriptions take forever to fill. I don't think you can wait and have one filled. And finally, the shelves seem quite bear. I couldn't even find rubbing alcohol. I'm surprised at the low rating score of this CVS Pharmacy. Every time I visit, primarily for prescriptions, I have only been greeted with prompt, efficient and professionalism. This has to be one of the highest volume pharmacies in the Atlanta area. The worst CVS pharmacy ever !!!! I went in there Monday to drop off a prescription and I'm back here on Friday and they have lost my prescription, this is ridiculous how is there a team of pharmacist that lose a prescription that is supposed to be dropped off. The wait time in the line is ridiculous and just wait there for nothing wasting my time is Robert guy said at the fact that American had told me that they lost my prescription that they're gonna call my doctor at the at the emergency department for a new prescription when I dropped off a paper prescription. They send you 800 emails and text until you pick up the prescription but make you get in two different lines for prescriptions called in by the doctor to use Good Rx for cheaper price. I have visited The location on Main St in East Point countless times as I live in the neighborhood. Unfortunately I will not return. The elderly Caucasian cashier is unbelievably rude each time we interact. She finds any excuse to not accept my coupons. I was there today and she refused to accept my coupon claiming the item was already discounted. I left the store and went to the location in the West End and they accepted my coupon without a hassle. I returned to the store and notified the manager. He apologized but I felt like he blew me off. Very disappointing. read more

Usually, people at this CVS are very nice, but today, July 25, 2022, at 10 a.m., I tried to refill a prescription over the phone, and the person was extremely rude. Apparently, the prescription was not due to be refilled until July 30, but I had no medication left. I was trying to ask how much the cash price would be for enough pills to last until the 30th, and this person quoted me $190. I said that this price seemed a little steep for so few pills, and the person replied sarcastically, "Oh, okay, so I hear you're asking for enough to last you until the 30th, even though you didn't SPECIFICALLY say that." I replied that that was what I was asking. She then quoted a lower price, and HUNG UP ON ME without another word! Wow, CVS, maybe invest in some customer service training! read more

Can I give this CVS PHARMACY location a NEGATIVE star? They don't deserve One star. I read all previous reviews of the location and saw how horrible an experience others had (clear warning) but YET I decided to give them a try. Why? Why? I'm still smacking myself. Firstly, I dropped off prescriptions for 3 different people around 9:30/10AM this morning and checked back around 3pm to be told "It's not ready"....okay, I can come back. I'm a health care provider and I get it that things happen. I received a text that prescription is ready and I returned an hour later at 4pm only to find out just 1 prescription is ready and at this point, I'm told "come back and we will have the rest of your prescription ready for you". Ooookay, come back when??? "Maybe in the next 10 minutes". Alright so I went and got my hair done and called around 8pm for the representative to say, "It's not ready but we'll work on it now and by the time you get here it will be"... WHAT ARE THEY DOING AT THIS LOCATION???? Now, I'm getting a little agitated. I then said, "well I'm coming to pick up my prescriptions to have them filled somewhere else" and the representative says, "It's up to you!" WOW!!!! Really! Poorest of customer service. Needless to say, my daughter went without her medication and I will transfer my entire household and all of my family members out of CVS to where we don't have to suffer pain as my young daughter who didn't get her meds because of these idiots they hired at this location. By far the WORST experience I have ever had at a CVS pharmacy. I've been using various CVS pharmacy locations for years and have never had an experience like today. As a college student, my mother usually sends me with a picture of her credit card to pay for prescriptions, seeing as how they are expensive and the CVS in Milledgeville never had any issues accepting that form of payment. I come here and all they tell me is "we can't take that". I ask why. No explanation, just "we won't do that." So here I am trying to get my flu medicine and they refuse to provide me with any type of alternative or fix to the problem, just "no" and "we can't do it" which makes no sense to me seeing as how my mom pays like this ALL THE TIME. The gist of the matter is, the women and men behind the counter at this location have no cares about you or the oath they took to help people. Most disgusting bathroom I've ever used. Stuff splattered on the walls, filthy floors, splattered toilet and the smell was indescribable.

Nice new store, just ran in to get a prescription. But, the pharmacist was anything but friendly though, no eye contact, no smile, nothing resembling pleasant. Never let me know that my prescription would be the generic brand, which I didn't want, and the scrip did not call for generic as okay. I want to have a good rapport/trust in my pharmacist, so customer service is an important step to getting there. I have great insurance, so I would have easily gone somewhere else had I known. Which I will do going forward, because as a new customer I was really disappointed in my experience and won't be going back. read more
