The gas prices at this station were decent and would be less than the other one down the street using Fuel Rewards (FW), but hubby said the screen was different than other Shells and he was unable to input his account information. I went inside to see if I could find something for my oldest to eat since she didn't want anything at the Wings place and the wait for food at Pizza Hut (both restaurants are adjacent to the gas station) would be too long. The selection was very limited. The slushy and fountain machines were down, along with most of the other hot food section. There was a mini fridge / freezer as well as ramen noodle soups in a cup and a microwave to cook the food in. Although I'm not sure where you get the hot water for the soup. Service was eh, not friendly nor rude. Hubby used the restroom and seemed disgusted by it so I recommend checking out ones at the other two restaurants. The outside looked decent, but the inside didn't match the exterior. I wouldn't make this pit stop again, the overall vibe was just depressing.

The place obviously has seen better days. When I was there I was actually a little afraid to use the credit card reader because I wasn't sure if it would register or screw it up. So I went inside instead and prepaid for my gas. The inside of the store is a bit older but actually quite clean and orderly. The floors looked they were recently mopped. The coolers looked clean and fairly new. My cashier was very nice and I was able to purchase some gas without a hitch. This Shell Station sits on McCollum Sharpsburg Road just off 85 and has been around for ages…read more I rarely stop here, but when I do get off of this exit later in the evening, this location is always an easy stop. Gas prices are a bit higher, but that is standard at Shell stations. They have the standard convenience stores goods from snacks to drinks, and of course the self service stations as well. Service is usually decent and friendly, no matter the time of day. Owners are nice and helpful. Cleanliness and condition is where this location needs some help. Parking lot and restrooms need to most attention cleanliness wise, while a bit of TLC conditionally is needed throughout. Overall, this location is good to have when popping off the interstate.

Their made to order breakfast grilled cheese sandwiches are my favorite... seriously I will bypass Dunkin to get here every time. Gas prices are always a few cents higher here than the nearby QT/Valero/Kroger gas stations and due to this, I only stop at this location for snacks/drinks in a pinch. I was shocked that gas was $3.85 a gallon and a couple places nearby was still ringing up gas at $3.99 a gallon. The location was well lit for after midnight, and the doors were unlocked so you could actually go inside the location and get a snack in addition to paying for your gas. I appreciate that this location was clean and the service was top notch....unlike some gas stations you go by at midnight and its all seedy and having the strangies hanging out.
