Manager with the oversized drawn on eyebrows wanted to walk away from a register of people. She then didn't want to process a return from an online order and said to "take it up with online" when she was asked. Her tone and entire demeanor were absolutely disgusting for working as a manager in customer service. Thankfully there was a professional woman who did assist and I appreciate her help. Pharmacist was great, otherwise the store manager needs lessons in customer service, never got a greeting, or a hello when i went to the register, I brought up my purchase and i guess there were BOGO sale signs all in the wrong place, and he absolutely would not honor THEIR mistake, so i told him forget it, never got an apology or tried to rectify the issue by just giving me the sale price. He didn't take the signs down, had zero personality, and i guess doesn't give a crap about having repeat customers coming back to his store, extremely disgusted with his bad, unfriendly attitude, won't be purchasing any thing there in the near future. read more

The pharmacy is terrible after 6 days of my prescriptions being in process I tried calling to find out what was going on . After 30 minutes of being on hold I drove to the pharmacy only to find a long line no phones bring answered at all. So I waited in line and told them my name and they said my prescription was in process I told them it's been 6 days she then proceeded to print the prescriptions and put them In a basket and said now they are in production. CVS had cut hours at the cost of our health not acceptable my insurance only goes through CVS so I guess I'm stuck next stop New York consumer affairs . Getting prescriptions filled in a timely manner while keeping the person needing the prescriptions should be a priority. Unfortunately, the pharmacist picks n chooses when n who's prescriptions get filled. This has to be the most incompetent pharmacy location any imbecile can be employed at. Not every patient is a narcotic patient and they need to learn how to treat PEOPLE! First off let me just say that the short female pharmacist is the rudest, classless thing I've ever had the disgust of coming across. She really thinks she is above the intelligence of a doctor. She's lazy & rude AF! I needed an antibiotic and went to my doctors office in the afternoon. Upon getting to CVS she tells me the script would be ready in an hour. I had strep and needed my medication. She tells me my script will be ready in an hour. I get to the pharmacy 50 minutes later to pick up the script and the pharmacy had closed half hour before I got there. She's a real piece of #%*t read more

I've never had any issues here. The pharmacy staff has been friendly. There is the usual and expected understaffed issue, because that's how things are everywhere anymore, but I'm still always able to get my medication when needed. read more

Avoid this pharmacy at literally all costs. I would rather drive an hour in the opposite direction than go here one more time. According to the CVS app my prescription was going to be ready the day prior at 12:30. When I showed up 24+ after that, I waited in line for 30 minutes for them to tell me that the script was not even ready. I told them to cancel it and I would figure something else out in order to avoid returning. I tried to call in advance but was never able to get in touch with anyone as no one picks up the phone at the pharmacy. Truly the most brutal experience I have ever had. read more

The pharmacy at the Dover Plains (Store #5055) CVS is the worst I have ever experienced. I am a loyal CVS customer. This particular store is closest to my elderly parents home and it is terrible. Prescriptions not ready, rude staff (including the pharmacist!), unnecessary waiting. Ridiculous! I am in the process of transferring their prescriptions to my local CVS in Pawling which is amazing! It is a shame that seniors in that area are forced to drive out of their way because of the ineptitude of their local CVS pharmacy in Dover Plains. That pharmacy needs an overhaul. I met a woman yesterday who complained that she drives to another pharmacy much farther away to avoid going to CVS in Dover. Totally unacceptable. read more

This place sucks but Ashley is awesome! If by some stroke of luck you get to have her wait on you you'll leave satisfied. She spent a half an hour on the phone with insurance to help me not have to pay 100 bucks for my scripts. I installed this app JUST to leave this review. The Dover CVS phyis SO bad that I now anticipate problems. For the last year it's "Guess when we're open" ( hint: hours posted on the website mean nothing). I had to go back four times over two weeks to get a prescription. The first time I had to go inside, I waited in line behind four people only to be told I was in the wrong line and to go wait in the other line, to then be told the prescription still wasn't ready. The next time , I got in the line I got sent to last time to be told again that I was in the wrong line. I can't wait to renew my prescriptions elsewhere. After ordering a refill for my psych meds an unexpected passing in my family occurred, which then forced me to leave the country to attend the services. I however, was unable to pick up my prescription due to it sitting for multiple days in limbo. After calling multiple times and going in person, I was treated as if I didn't need my psychotic meds. Now, because of this, I am in another country dealing with a close relatives death and no medication. If I could give the pharmacy in Dover Plains, New York, a lower rating, they don't even deserve one star. Please no one go here! read more

Absolutely stay away from this place if you can. Pharmacy staff consistently rude, and hangs up on you regularly. And very expensive - like almost 2x Walgreens price. Today I tried to get the status of my prescription, and before driving down there wanted to see if they had filled it. Because of prior problems .... Waited three times for roughly 20 minutes each, and got hung up by the staff. Plus expensive. For example, I had a prescription for my dog that was about $75 from CVS, and $41 at Walgreens when I changed. But the worst thing about this, was when I asked the Pharmacy Manager (and another time the tech) if they could run a discount card for me, they refused rudely. But the NEXT time the receptionist (lone star in this story) ran one and reduced-price by about 10%. Rude, arrogant, expensive. Other than that OK. LOL read more

This is my opinion I went in for my medication clonazepam and I had paid for this at the beginning of February and I was short changed 24 pills I called their executive offices they would not return my phone calls I had to email The regional manager which was a total idiot when I went back and they only gave me 14 pills and said that's all I'm going to get and I told him that I was 10 short upon leaving I had told the pharmaceutical department I'm Donald Trump you're fired because they would not admit to their mistakes when I called the regional manager and told him that I was 10 short he told me that I could not going to the store that I had to go to the drive-in I picked up like 10 pills they have done this before to my wife they have done this to me and told me they did not have the medication in stock they have also shortchanged me before and this was done by Lauren and the girl I spoke to that day what is Amanda this is my opinion they told me That Gabapentin was in addictive drug and that was said by the pharmacist Lauren and also Amanda when I checked with my doctor my doctor told me that it was not in addictive drug in anyway whatsoever this store has been giving out miss leading information about my medication I also checked with my wife who has been a registered nurse for 48 years and what is the head of the ER department in St. Francis medical center now known as Westchester medical center and she agreed that this drug was not addictive so this store has been giving miss leading information in my opinion both Antonia Lauren and Amanda and their entire staff of technicians should lose their license this is unprofessional and they will not admit to their mistakes And when I asked for a letter from the regional manager he would not respond via email because he to is it unprofessional and he should be fired that's why am taking my business to Walgreens and so should you read more

CVS must stand for Covid Vector Store. The pharmacists had their masks pulled down below their chins while they stood by the counter dealing with customers. The one who gave the shots would gather each kit, no gloves, and pull her mask up each time she came from behind the counter. She did at least put on gloves before giving the shot. I mentioned my concern to a different pharmacist who rudely replied, "I don't need to wear a mask. I have a medical condition. And I know about Covid from my daughter getting it." Huh? No floor markings for customer social distancing. There were about eight people waiting around. I was first in line, and It took about half an hour for them to process my paperwork and give me the shot. I could hardly wait to get out of there! We stopped at this CVS yesterday en route back to NYC. All three employees - of which one was the manager - were pleasant and helpful.

If I could give less of a rating on here I would. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PHARMACY EVER! I was refused my medications, after waiting ALL DAY! I went in right after my docs appointment early, was told that 2 of my scripts needed authorization, I said I pay out of pocket for one of them. So I was then told it would be 20 mins. So I went home did some stuff around the house I needed to get done then went back. I gv my name and the pharmacist refused to fill them, said she didnt think I needed them. even the one I was promised in 20mins. My doctor even called them and spoke with the pharmacist and still she refused. I believe her name is Lauren. I've had trouble with this pharmacy for yrs. Making me wait EXTREME amounts of time for my meds. Amanda I believe is the other girl who likes to give attitude and cause trouble for me. I think its complete BS that I cant get my medications because this pharmacist has a god complex. I'm not the only one who has these issues with this pharmacy. I hv found several others who hv bad reviews. I will nvr return to this store, if your smart you would stay away too! read more
