We love our CVS. There's some out there that aren't as nice and put together, but the Highway 5 location is amazing, especially the pharmacy staff. They have top tier pharmacy talent who KNOW THEIR STUFF. The retail associates are kind and professional. read more

I have used cvs on hwy 5 for years and havent ever had a bad experience other than long wait times. I went tonight at 8:06. If u Google cvs pharmacy it says they close at 9pm. They had the gates closed but there was a man behind the gates. I told him my prescriptions were ready and are necessary for my childs health. He refused to hand them to me but spent more time arguing with me than it would have taken him to just hand them to me. The front was still open and the girl in the front could have checked me out. They were both very rude and dismissive of my need for these meds. My child has lupus and takes chemo pills everyday. They took so long to fill them i couldnt get them earlier then just dismissed me and would rather argue the hours with me than give me the meds my child HAS TO HAVE!!!! IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO MY CHILD BEFORE I CAN GET THESE MEDS NOT ONLY WILL THERE BE A LAWSUIT BUT THEY WILL HAVE HELL TO PAY!!!!! I will be changing pharmacies asap!!!!! I own businesses and dont usually leave bad reviews because I know how it can effect a business but they need fix there hours on Google and handle things more professionally! 10 out of 10 do not recommend them. If someone came in my place of business and needed something I would go out of my way to make sure they got what they needed. I've gone to this CVS for my medication before, went through the drive through with no AC in my car. And when I tell you it was a nightmare waiting for 30 minutes please believe it. All all Pharmacy has its up and down so now I'm being forced to try CVS once again because Publix Pharmacy gave me the wrong medication and I don't trust them anymore. It's sad these drug stores can and will treat people any kinda way. Walgreens is just as bad it all boils down to nasty attitudes and long waiting holding your medication because they don't like when you speak your mind, if this happens again at CVS I'm going to try the private Pharmacy in downtown Douglasville. The only thing I see wrong with them is the 9 to 5 closing time with no drive through. One other thing that Walmart Pharmacy is most definitely out of the question. read more

The kid behind the counter is so rude. He speaks back to the pharmacist and treats customers like they are putting him out for asking him to do his job. I first thought he was just having a bad day but after several times of going back I learned he was like this all the time. He doesn't acknowledge you when you ask him questions. It's like pulling teeth. Next time I go in I'm getting his name to call corporate. My interaction with him was around noon and it's 10:30pm now and I'm still upset. I'm probably going to go to Walgreens if they don't do something about this kid. Rant over. read more

This place is an absolute circus. Half the time they do not have "enough" of my child's medicine (not a medication that is in a shortage), and the other half is zero correspondence about if and when said medication can be filled. It appears there are plenty of employees in this facility. It also appears as if everyone employed there has no clue of their intended services. One lady, one young man and one "would you like to speak to the pharmacist" voice have been "helpful" each time. Trying, at least. Sadly, that leaves about 13 other employees taking up space. I wish I could give ZERO STARS. I have never left a review for anything a day in my life but these people were so UNPROFESSIONAL and UNSYMPATHETIC that I had to warn others! DO NOT TAKE YOUR COVID TESTS HERE! My insurance paid for a RAPID test (A test in which I was supposed to get my results the SAME DAY!) They gave me the run around for OVER 24 hours and the entire time my covid test was sitting right there at the pharmacy! They tried to tell me at first "well Idk why you haven't received your results yet because we did our part and sent it out to the nurses"... what nurses? I asked, THEY CANT TELL ME. And it wasn't until I started going off and asking questions is when they "just so happen" to find my results! WTF?! And then after I hung up the phone because they tried to tell me that these "nurses" that they claimed they knew nothing about at first, tried to tell me that they pulled a no show but I got my results within 5 MINUTES OF ME HANGING UP ON THEM!!! How hard is it to DO YOUR JOB!??? We've been dealing with covid for going on 3 years now and they still can't get it together! PLEASE DO BETTER OR DONT OFFER COVID TEST AT THIS LOCATION!!!!! read more

I changed to this CVS right before the holiday season and really like them. The drive through is very convenient. Everyone I have spoken with has been very courteous and has gone out of their way to support me. I'm glad I changed. read more

I was so happy when they built this location on my side of town. The store is always clean and they have the most friendly and helpful staff. I love shopping here because the coupons and sales are good and I earn extra care bucks (free money) very easily. read more

The Pharmacy customer service is horrendous. It doesn't matter if it's in person or over the phone. I had and issue getting one of my prescriptions filled that my doctor called in and wanted to know if there was any additional information that I needed to provide, maybe a new prescription card. The tech had an attitude and seemed annoyed that I asked them a question. It appears that they forgot that customer interaction is in their job description. The entire pharmacy staff has questionable customer service skills. We as customers did not ask you to apply for the job, that was your call. Don't take it out on us if you don't like your job or you're having a bad day. I honestly believe that if it wasn't for the elderly clientele that have no other option but to get their meds through them, they would probably be shut down. The only reason I tried the establishment was because its the pharmacy my insurance company is connected with. Avoid this place as your pharmacy if you can, it's not worth the headache. read more

This pharmacy SUCKS! I go to rite aid but my fiancé goes to CVS (idk why) they can not get their crap together at all. They have 5 workers there today and they told my fiancé at 1:30 that his prescription would take TWO hours. At rite aid it would've been 15-30 minutes but anyways, I call at 3:30 and they say it'll be ready at 4:10. I walk in there with my toddler in my arms at 4:12 and they tell me it'll be 20 more minutes and to have a seat. They do this crap every single time my fiancé uses them. I had to leave because I was so angry. Don't waste someone's time and tell them their prescription will be ready at a specific time when it's not. They're so frustrating. read more

I changed to CVS on Hwy 5 in Douglasville after using it's competitor across the street since it was Treasury Drugs in the 70's For a very long time the pharmacist and drug store employees knew me, my family, and my friends. Gradually, new faces came and went. Some nice, some not so nice. I wasn't really paying much attention until I began having trouble getting a recurring prescription filled. The technician wasn't helpful although she had the information but the customer behind me gave me the information I needed. GoodRx. What made me switch was the difference in price. $170! Not only did I save $170 by crossing the street, but I realized that I had tolerated a sub-par level of customer service including condescension, rudeness, indifference and sadly a lack of courtesy to elderly customers. Not always, but more often than not. Thank you CVS for being so nice, efficient and courteous, even the super-shy cashier! Congratulations!!! read more

Worst pharmacy ever! They are not allowed to have more than one pharmacist working at a time so no matter how many techs are working it takes hours to get a prescription filled. I have been quoted as long as 7 hours for my medicine. Just this week they were unable to fill any controlled medications because they had switched Pharmacist In Charge and he was waiting on his approval from the state board to order them for this store. Ridiculous!! You never know if you are going to get a nice tech or a jerky tech. If my insurance didn't have this as my preferred pharmacy I would move in a heartbeat!!! read more

Just being nice with the 2 stars. Pharmacy Customer Service absolutely terrible. If I had an option to get my prescription from somewhere else I would just leave but at this point I have been sitting in here for 30 min.. and not even a price yet! Always takes too long to get a prescription filled. Today I was told 3 hours to get pain med filled for my husband. He just had a total knee replacement as an outpatient. Seriously, if it takes 3 hours either you don't have enough help, you have bad equipment and processes or you have the wrong help. Today I visited this location and was looking for the family planning section in which my CVS in South Carolina keeps the Prenatal vitamins. Well in this location it was separate and I could not find it. There was a gentleman walking towards the back so I asked him and he showed me where it was and then proceeded to say if you're looking for the plan b it's right behind you. The nerve of him automatically assuming that was the reason for my visit and question. If he had been any type of employee with great customer experience he should've asked if he could have helped me find something without being a snob and stereotyping. Nevertheless I found the prenatal vitamins in another section of the store without his assistance. As I proceeded to check out I asked the young lady at the front who the manager was there and she stated the assistant manager was there and well there he was the same guy. I'm surprised that he would be leading anyone with a mindset of that nature. I told him my thoughts and he apologized however it should've never happened in the first place. Will definitely not give them my business ever again. He needs to go back thru training and learn some manners. Based on his views some self reflection as well. read more

Terrible customer service. Just waited 45 minutes in the drive thru to pick up medicine!

I was not doing anything wrong when an employee started to follow me so I move around just to be sure that I am being followed once I realize that I was being followed I just go back to what I was doing and the employee comes up to me and says did you just put something in your pocket.
