I have been using CVS for over 20 years. I have been using this location for about 2 or 3 years because it is on my way home from work. The store is not kept up well, customer service is hit and miss, and common items are often out of stock. The pharmacy is slow and service at this location in general is on the decline. Emergencies are inevitable and this location was the closest to us to stop and pick up some quick supplies and get back on the road. Finding and purchasing our supplies was smooth, but it was very irritating after giving your business to this place and not being able to use the restroom. Every other location I've been to does not have this policy and the male employee who I asked to use the restroom was ignorant about my situation. So I went into the pharmacy to buy some chocolates. But then I had to use the rest room. What a huge mistake! What a disgusting, deplorable, degrading experience. I had to go number 2 very urgently and before I even sat on the toilet I realized I was in trouble. The toilet seat was sticky from piss and God knows what else, and there was no paper towels or toilet paper. At this time of night 9:15 pm the 2 associates were up front so I couldn't leave the bathroom and go up front to ask for toilet paper so I had to put my pants back on without wiping the shit from my asshole. I have been a loyal CVS customer for many years. This is the only pharmacy to claim "we are not able to check other stores inventory".... I know for a fact that is not true... CVS employs an ERP software as do all large companies. Every other CVS I have frequented gladly checks other stores inventory to confirm that my medication is in stock. I walked into cvs in a pretty good mood with my daughter and left feeling like a piece of _____. Kate the cashier shamed me for having a daughter and "being too young". She asked me as I was walking up the the counter (with a straight face and no smile), "This is your child?" I said yes smiling. I put my basket on the counter and pulled out my id because I had to get mucinex for myself and Bf who have been sick over the weekend. She looks at my id and then questions again, "1991? You are too young to have a child!" She scans a few more things then asks, "How old is she?" (Again with no laughter or smile.) I replied back 5. At this point I felt really confused why she keeps asking these questions so rudely. Wondering what is her point and realizing she's just trying to be ugly. It really ruined my day honestly. I get being sweet and saying you look so young and it being a compliment. But she kept picking at me and not smiling and saying these things rudely. It felt so invasive and felt me feeling awful. Yes I am 28 and yes I have a 5 yr old. But so what...? I am not standing there asking her how old she is. And asking why she's probably 60 something working at cvs as a cashier. I'm not shaming her for being so old and making minimum wage at 60. I could of said so much but I kept my cool and left with a smile because I didn't want my daughter to hear anything like that. Because I believe everyone should be treated with respect. (Clearly not the case for everyone else.) I called the manager (dawn) when I got to the car because I felt so off put and he made the excuse that she's from another country. Wow. I have sometimes stopped in here in the past because this location is on the way to work. So if I need one thing I'll swing by. Today I went out of my way to stop by here because I had a 20 percent off coupon on my phone. I needed one item. I've worked in retail in the past and marketing currently. Whenever I use a coupon, I do read all the fine print. They wouldn't take my coupon because I didn't have a CVS card. NOWHERE on the coupon did it say I had to have a CVS card. And speaking of which, every time I do go to CVS they always ask if I have a card, and I always say no. Not one person has every asked me if I want one or explained to me what it is. I've been coming to this pharmacy for over 7 years. Normally, the experience is okay. I'm here right now and this new female they have working the window has a disgusting attitude. I gave her my info and she said that my prescription was no longer available. It wasn't due to be put back yet but okay. I asked her how much one of them cost because my insurance said it wasn't covered. She immediately accused me of giving her an attitude. Lets just say you can get crappy service anywhere you go and sometimes this location has its issues. But, on the whole, their customer service is on par with other pharmacy locations(and pharmacy chains). If you don't expect 2 minute waits at the busiest time of the day and realize that pharmacy staff are always working on something even if there are no customers standing at the counter, you are one intelligent cookie! It's not McDonalds where meds are sitting in bulk just waiting for you to order, it's your life they are trying to protect. Don't pull up to the window, 5 minutes before closing and expect that you can put in an order for meds that you don't have refills on, or only know its that white pill. Be willing to put yourself in the staffs shoes. Be kind. (and no, I don't work there) But, I do work with patients and because I always give 110% to every one I encounter, I know they try hard to do the same. And, yes, they have forgotten to order meds that were requested or didnt run my insurance. But, they did all they could to make it right and gave me their sincerest apologies. Since, they are only human, I got the best they could give under the circumstances and I appreciate the effort. read more

This is my neighborhood CVS, and I normally go here for over the counter medicine and various specials offered through their extracare discount program. Personally, I don't see a great benefit of shopping at CVS without an extracare card, so I highly recommend that you ask a cashier for one. The card is free and can be used for applicable discounts immediately. They are always under staffed, but waiting in line for 5-6 minutes is better than waiting 12-15 minutes at Walmart. A plus, I find that if you need to purchase certain items with discretion, this is the place to do it. read more

They informed me the doctor denied the refill that I had to make an appointment with the doctor to get a new refill. I asked if they could issue a seven day fill until I could get into the doctor (it's not a narcotic and I've had other pharmacist do this for me). The pharmacist became condescending telling me I should have thought about that before today. Seeing a lot of negative reviews and I'm shocked. I've had issues with other pharmacies, and honestly, I think having to pick up prescriptions is a pain in the butt and typically means you're afflicted or sick and it's just not a fun activity. But the staff at this CVS is always pleasant, efficient, professional and helpful. Not just for me- today I watched them assist an older gentleman patiently and kindly and the customer was really grateful; it was a really nice thing to watch. I just stood in line forever to be told I had to have a card to turn in a prescription for Bank of America insurance Caremark. I noticed if you were in the drive in you received immediate assistance. I went home and asked family members on my insurance if they had a card and they said no. I called Caremark and they said there was a number for CVS to call for info on my Aetna card that I showed to the girl. So I will be taking all of our family prescriptions to a place that cares. read more

Hate to be the bs review saying if I could give no stars I would. I came in for a covid test not even 20 minutes ago and the lady was just plain rude I let her know it was my first time ever taking a test so obviously I don't know what I'm doing. She had an attitude the whole time and rolled her eyes numerous times. I accidentally put a bag in the wrong thing and instead of nicely saying thats not where that goes she hit me with the "like I told you thats not where that is going" and when I asked if that was all she just walked away before I was able to ask anything. She was overall so rude for no reason and I'm not a confrontational person so I said nothing in person because I was already nervous from this being my first covid test and having anxiety which she didn't make any better. I understand I didn't do everything perfectly but who would when they're nervous doing something they've never done. I don't understand what the need for the rudeness was as this is your job and I was being nice and apologizing for messing up and never gave her attitude or nasty looks. If you don't like your job don't work there simple I didn't make you apply and be there everyday. Learn to be nicer it gets you further in life than being rude and bitter to someone that has done nothing to you. I also came here for my vaccine both doses and the ladies were very nice I guess its just the drive thru pharmacy lady that is rude never making that mistake again. Can't give a zero star review so one it is. The incompetence at this pharmacy is astounding. First, the pharmacy didn't have our prescription ready after 6 hours. Second, the tech wouldn't take our insurance card then charged us the full amount. Third, the tech refused to help on the phone. Fourth, the pharmacist made us wait in line again after processing our refund even though she had just processed the refund. Makes no sense, right?
