I would definitely NOT return to this CVS. My 9!year old son needed to use the restroom and we were denied because we were told "the pharmacy uses the bathroom for storage". *CVS OPTICAL CENTER* Professional Eye Exams At Affordable prices!* W/ No Nonsense, No BS, No Sale Driven Money hungry staff. Yes CVS in Central Islip has a new optical Center now, And I wish i had gone sooner. Even though they are located in CI, Doesnt mean they lack professionalism or knowledgeable staff because they really dont! I was little apprehensive at first, 1. Because its CI...2. Because I wasnt dressed ..As I felt, Appropriate.. But not once while i was there, did anyone make me feel ashamed or uncomfortable. There was zero judgement. The Level Of Professionalism, was honestly not expected because of the location... But It was a wonderful surprise. The staff there was Amazing.. Seriously..I laughed so much. They are Hilarious, Kind, Down to earth, Genuinely caring, And so so helpful. Did I mention They actually KNOW what theyre Doing?! Their $ 60 eye exam , Featured Tests Ive never even seen before! And Ive been going every other year for the last 15 years! With a steady hand and ability to talk you thru any nervousness or anxiety, they were thorough, and dont just BS thru your exam just to save time. They are the definition of quality over Quantity , Or in this case Time. THEY DONT CUT CORNERS! And if youve been to most other places in this area for the same price..You kno what im talkin bout.. their BS 10 minute tests. Personal experience and opinion: I would recommend Donna, For Your eye exam. Definitely go while Jessica and Davida are there, Especially if your picking out glasses, or if you are shy or have anxiety, or even get bored easily. By the end of my visit, I felt completely At EASE, Not anxious, apprehensive, or Shy even, Just completely accepted...Is the best way to describe how i felt, At any moment If i started to feel uneasy or even looked confused, They were on it.. Theyre empathy game is NEXT level. Its insane how on point they were to how i was feeling.. And At no point was it pity, It was just genuine wanting to help, presented on a equal Human level. It just really restores your faith in humanity. In conclusion..Your not gonna get judged here, You wont feel pressured to buy buy buy! Your gonna get the BEST KNOWLEDGEABLE Help available in 2019, Your concerns met, your questions answered, Witty, Funny, Caring , Smart, And Dependable Staff, Recommendations and On call Specialist in case of emergencies.
