If you have any problem with a medication being filled, don't worry! You just have to wait over a week and call your doctor multiple times! You nor your doctor will receive any response from CVS and you will have to order the prescription to a different pharmacy that is not so horribly disorganized and plagued with abysmal communication skills! Time to switch to Publix. CVS will not accept phone calls while Publix will. And Publix automatically applies Goodrx coupons without prompting. CVS did text prescrip was available to pick up, indicated dosage but left out quantity preventing me from independently price checking which is why I wanted to speak with live staff member. We had to get a prescription filled while out of town, and there was some wait time but we felt the 20 minutes was a fair time to wait. I enjoyed window shopping in the store while we waited. We also grabbed some tissues and considered buying some drinks (but we were only in town a couple days so decided against that). CVS in Boone is ridiculous they send you a text saying your prescription is ready you go to pick up your prescription it's not ready nor do they even know then they tell you you don't have any prescriptions ready to try and get someone to wait on you at the Boone CVS pharmacy department it's like going to DMV and standing in line for an hours The role back there staring at you while you're standing in line and no one comes to the counter and helps you when they finally do come to the counter they ask your information you have to repeat it many times because they're hard of hearing After telling them your information three different times and they tell you you have no prescriptions ready to be picked up then you show them the text that was sent by CVS and they look at you like you're from a different planet I'm supposed to pick up my meds all at one time but CVS keeps on sending me text messages telling me every other day I have meds ready I get somewhat faster service going through the drive-through at McDonald's As many associates behind the counter they all look busy when customers appear because none of them want to help you and when they do they have sarcastic attitudes against you like you've interrupted them from a lunch break read more

I had to giggle to myself as we pulled into the parking lot and I checked in on Yelp. This store has dedicated bike parking. After dozens of check ins asking that question I was finally able to check yes. Lol. Also as a bonus they have a dedicated motorcycle spot up front. It wasn't busy when we were there, but as motorcyclists it was a very thoughtful touch. I just ran inside quickly to grab some pop and snacks for the hotel room. The young gentleman working the register was so friendly and even advised me to go the coupon center to get a coupon for my pop which was on special. I didn't have my ExtraCare card on me and he said I could just enter my phone number. The store was very clean and organized. All in all a quick trip but a very, very pleasant one. read more

This CVS is terrible. The staff does not wear masks and is angry when asked to please Put one on. The managers are clearly not requiring it as it was not just one person. The staff is also not asking the customers to wear masks as there were two people in the store without masks. This is outrageous in a pharmacy. read more

Fast service, nice & helpful staff. Drive thru is most efficient and Victoria was so kind and quickly got my Rx ready so I didn't have to come back. I usually have to go to CVS 2-3 times just to get my Rx but only had to come once! read more

Slowest pharmacy in town. Always unorganized and if you have more than one prescription they never have them ready at the same time. Last trip in after getting a text saying prescription was ready and making a special trip for time sensitive meds, I arrive and the pharmacy is closed. Employee said the pharmacist had something come up and had to leave and had no timeframe for when the pharmacy was going to reopen. I guess they only have one pharmacist. The drive thru will usually have 4 to 6 cars ahead of you and you should plan about a 30 minute wait. I'm going to switch to either Boone drug or Walgreens, or maybe one of the ones at Walmart or Publix and see if they're any better. Can't be any worse! read more

Unfortunately there was not a 0 stars for this review. Worst CVS ever. Pharmacist consistently late. Yesterday over 4 hours and pharmacy can't open without a pharmacist. This could potentially put customers in danger of not getting their medication. Recommendation...find another pharmacy. read more

Avoid at all costs. Spent 90 MINUTES on hold today trying to update my insurance information so my prescription could be filled. Do these people not use their phone? A 90 minute wait is unacceptable for a health care facility - period - and especially one with competitors. I am transferring my prescriptions elsewhere. read more

It's the same as any other CVS, but no complaints here--they were open on Thanksgiving when I needed decongestant, cough drops, and a six pack for their normal store hours. Sad the staff missed their holiday, but glad to know they're there if I need them even on off days. read more
