I took my 9 year old son there because he constantly scratches his cornea. Every time I have…read morebrought him in there they give him drops and ointment and send him off. This time they said they would give him a contact band aid to help it heal. They scheduled his appointment very first thing in the morning (before his eyes had time to adjust to the light) and were surprised when he couldn't keep his eye open and referred him to Riley in Indianapolis because they said they didn't want to make him uncomfortable. Do they not understand how uncomfortable it is to scratch your eye constantly? They didn't ask what we wanted to do. They didn't ask us anything they just said they would refer us to Riley so they could put him under to get the contact in. It has now been a week since they saw him and no referral has been sent to Riley. I have called multiple times to try to get them to send the referral someplace more local so they can do it without putting him under. Every time I call they either put me through to voicemail or say they will call back and don't.

It's just seriously unsafe! They need to be taught or trained to handle themselves in violent situations so that they're not risking someone getting hurt. Other then that, prices are fantastic! Buying meat and or vegetables here as opposed to Walmart across the street may be a few cents more but the meat is so much fresher and the veggies have so much more flavor than at Walmart. Walmarts veggies just don't have much flavor. So happy chief has survived with the other stores in town that try to run them out. I would have to drive to a different town for my food if they were to close. Thank you chief for maintaining.
