I wish the pharmacy staff were not so rude. My doctor sent my prescription to the wrong CVS, so I took the technician's direction yesterday to call her this morning. When my doctor sent in the correction, I got an automatic text from CVS saying it was sent too soon to be covered by insurance and would not be refilled til next month. I followed up with a call to CVS to make sure they had the info they need and would be able to refill it. I could hardly get a word out because the technician immediately started talking over me. When I politely asked her to let me speak, she interrupted again, told me she'd have me talk to the manager, and put me on hold. The manager was equally rude and kept talking over me, too. I don't know why they were so upset. I was calm and polite the whole time. I asked them what they need me to do, and it turns out that they didn't need anything else. They said they can fill it, but not until the end of the day. They repeatedly told me to call my doctor to make sure she doesn't send it to the wrong pharmacy again (which I had already done). I guess they just wanted to be absolved of any responsibility. I don't blame my doctor or the pharmacy if there was a mistake--we all make them, and I just wanted to make sure they had the right info. read more
