Constant foot cuts and bleeding are the norm. The inner basketball court area is in terrible need of a coat of paint. The vast amounts of green space surrounding the pool use to be great for the kids to throw a ball or play games. It's no longer allowed. No in depth pool rules are posted on the website or at the pool facility. And yet lifeguards constantly blow their whistles for the most minor things. Without rules, who knows why or what you can or cannot do. Further the swim managers encourage constant whistles being blown by lifeguards and it makes the entire swim area very, very tense. The restaurant, which has been closed for renovation for many, many months reopened only to offer very standard and uninspired items. And very, very little for non-meat options. This will be our last season with this club, unless management makes the necessary changes, as there are countless great clubs and pools in our area.

She was aggressive in her responses when I asked questions about setup to the point I had to walk away. In addition, her staff rushed us through my booked time at the venue because they had an event after ours. It is unfortunate that the excitement of the day was dampened with such negativity. They shouldn't open up the space for nonmembers if they are going to make us feel unwelcomed.

Knowing what will work & what won't. He helped me understand what all the data actually meant, instead of just telling me I could benefit from certain equipment. He went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of. The entire team at Club Champion Livingston was awesome. They have every club and shaft you can think of with unlimited combinations, so you will truly land on what works best for you. Highly recommend anyone to get fit with Sean.

Since I had such a positive experience with Justin Nowell from the last time I was here, I took a shot in the dark and texted him with no expectations for him to answer me. After all, I hadn't made any contact with him for 2 years and he must have countless clients that he's interacted since then. To my surprise, he messaged me back within the hour and laid out the days he'd be available to help me. When I arrived at the store after an agreed upon time, I was met with the same positive vibes I had years ago. It was like Justin and I were old friends and we hadn't missed a beat. Justin is a very genuine, friendly, and helpful individual. While waiting for my club shaft adapter to be changed and dried, we had a very nice honest conversation about life and golf. I believe what separates Justin from the rest is his ability to connect with people. When you're able to connect with people like Justin does, you lay the foundation to great friendships and future business transactions at the same time. I didn't feel like any typical large chain golf store where everything is very cut and dry. Kudos to Justin, he deserves the credit and reputation he has earned. I can proudly say that I will be going to Club Champion in Livingston for any future fittings and services because of how well I've been treated there.

Positives: Well-kept for a local course. The greens rolled true, and the course was in good shape…read more Negatives: Horrible service. The pro shop looked at me like I had three heads when I said I didn't have the county course membership (there's 5 courses in the county). It felt as though they were blatantly accusing me of being stupid. I told them I am literally not from here and while I'm visiting, I wanted to play a round. Then I told them I would like a golf cart and again they made a snide comment about how I was "doing the county a favor" because I didn't get the discount that members get. I was pretty dumbfounded. But I just wanted to enjoy a nice day on the course, and I did end up doing that. One more thing: the course is not beginner friendly. I like a challenge but it was narrow with trees everywhere and there were so many uphill, blind shots that it started to get frustrating. On the second hole there was a tower with stairs to climb up so your playing partners could watch your ball for you. A nice touch, but that goes to show how blind some of these shots were. Whatever! I would still recommend the course itself because I had fun. Just know what you're getting into.

The first few times I played here I was still a pretty bad golfer-and this isn't the best course or a bad golfer. The course is basically cut out of the forest so there are trees everywhere. You'd think TNT would make ma the this course, right?? Wrong, this is one of the courses that taught me to a) play out of the trees accurately, and b) play 'smart' golf. If you can keep the ball in the short grass you can have a great round here as there really aren't any hard holes on the course. A couple of blind tee shots, a couple long dog legs, and some elevation changes, but overall this isn't a tough course for a decent golfer. The finishig holes are fun, but pretty easy as long as the water doesn't bother you. The first time I played here I was pretty clueless and couldn't hit my fairway woods. 18 lines up towards the clubhouse and I pulled out my 3 wood for my second shot (or third more likely) except I actually hit it square...and blasted the clubhouse. I was horrified, but my friends thought it was hilarious. I haven't been back here in a few years...maybe it's time to go back to my roots when I pull the clubs out this year?
