He had a great survey and it helped us stay on task with what music we wanted and what we didn't want played at our wedding. He offered so many different styles of music and his collection is quite extensive. We were very impressed how quickly he setup at the event and how efficient he was at managing his time. Not only did he just bring equipment, he brought back up equipment. He was early to arrive and MC'd everything we wanted him to. We had no issues with him and the one time he had a question he asked me and resolved the issue so seamlessly that it didn't even turn into anything at all. My own mother was distraught when she realized the last song was playing, because she was having so much fun dancing. The dance floor wasn't empty (or even half empty) for one minute. Larry is an expert at mixing fun contemporary music with party-perfect tracks and the occasional slow one. (The floor was just as packed for the slow ones, so he clearly knows how to pick them.) The best part about working with Larry is his enthusiasm and professionalism. He quickly answered my emails, calmed my nerves ("what if no one has fun?!"), and played every song I asked him to. The document he provides to clients covers everything including entrance songs, last songs, cake-cutting songs, and everything in between. He assisted me in choosing some of those, because I just had no idea. He knows his music, both contemporary and classic, and executes the perfect playlist. He really was able to feel the room and played his music to the generations there. We heard everything from our good-old high school throwbacks N*SYNC and Britney, to our parents favorite Motown and oldies, and everything that is on the radio today! He took requests before the wedding via the bride and grooms wedding website and, after checking them with the couple, had them in the line-up, making a very nice personal touch for the guests. Larry kept the reception rolling by constantly moving from one task to the other without a lull in the music or activities (ie: speeches, cake-cutting, etc.) and did it with such grace that we never felt that things were being rushed. He…read morehandled A LOT throughout the day - the music for the ceremony in one ballroom, and then the music for the reception in another, as well as running the photo booth that we rented from the company (at a great price!) We met him over a year before our wedding at a party expo (see, those things really do come in handy sometimes!) and we clicked immediately. Now that the party is over, my husband and I agree that hiring Neil was absolutely the right move! One of the things that sets Golden apart from other companies is that they make the party about you. A lot of DJ's or bands are really flashy, over the top, in your face - - people end up watching them instead of watching the bride and groom. We're far from narcissists, but we also wanted to keep the focus on why we were all there. Neil excelled at this, knowing the right moments to step in, funny little things to say, and he worked the mic like the pro that he is. He was one of the few DJ's that I know who told us to request as many songs as we wanted and he knew what to pick and choose while reading the dance floor. He also has a really great set up for the introductions to the reception which include a video or audio message from the bride and groom before they walk out to their music of choice. People literally keep talking to us about how cool that was, and it added a really special memory to starting the reception. If you are looking for a DJ for your event, we would hands down recommend Golden Productions. Neil is a pro, knows the industry well (and has for a very long time) and can run a party!

Celebration on the Black-eyed Susan Paddle Boat. He had the dance floor jumping.He played every song on the play list that l selected. His introduction and interaction at the wedding was outstanding!! I would highly recommended him. He's a little on the expensive side but so worth it. I had him for four hours at $200.00 an hour.
