I went in there about a week ago to get a hair cut. I have been in many times before and the service has always been so so. But after all it is a hair cut place so all I care about is getting a quick cut and leaving. I get a #1 all over so there isn't much to mess up!! Last time I went in I got my haircut and the cut was fine. Though, during the hair cut the barber hit (with the electric trimmers) my necklace which I keep my cross on and I didn't think a thing about it. Then I got home and it fell on my kitchen floor when I took my sweatshirt off. It was cut in half by those electric trimmers..... I called back and the manager said that it was not their responsibility that this occurred. Excuse me? They said they could not do a thing for me, but they were sorry and hoped I had a great rest of my day...... It was a mistake and I wasn't mad, but now I am because they could not own up to it. Lost a customer for life and others around Dothan that hear this story. read more

This is a blast against Jamie at Cuts By Us in the Westway Publix shopping Center. She racially profiled my son and told my husband that she , "Can't cut THAT type of hair" after making them wait 45 minutes. If you don't know how to cut curly hair you have no business holding a pair of scissors and accepting money to do so. And what is "THAT" type if hair anyways? I am calling cooperate office and her manager and hoping that she either gets fired or massive sensitivity retraining to talk down to a 10 year old child that way !!! read more

This was at the Westside in Dothan Alabama by Publix. I've only gotten my haircut there twice but my old stylist stopped working there and she did a wonderful job on my highlights. I don't know this lady's name but she did cut my hair in 2017 and I didn't remember until she started cutting my hair. I haven't called I'm kind of nervous cuz I don't know who the manager is over there. I showed this African American woman also she was kind of rude. I told her I have naturally curly hair even though istraightened it. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my haircut. This woman butchered my hair and it's uneven. I have some disabilities and I can't even straighten my hair right I have to use my very old flat iron. It doesn't look right at all. I now have to wait until my hair grows out so I can get it back even. Since my old stylist is no longer there and I don't know This Woman's name. I won't be back!! There's two African-American women there I think this was the older one. She tried to get me to put layers in my hair but I don't like layers in my hair. She also wanted me to buy some type of Sensitive Scalp Treatment. I have a Very Sensitive Scalp and I can't put stuff like everybody else can. I have had my hair cut here several times, but the last 3 times have been awful. First I had a whole section chopped out leaving a hole on one side. I went back to have it fixed and they basically did the same thing to the other side. I had been letting my hair grow out and thought I would try them again, this time I have hair that is longer on one side than the other. I will no longer have my hair cut at this salon. I have had my hair cut by almost everyone who works there. No one is that good. read more

This review is about Cuts by Us in Enterprise. My hair ended up looking like other poster here but with short hair. First time I went to this salon got a decent haircut by middle aged woman. Next haircut was with young person. She kept talking loudly even though I had my head buried in a mag to show I did not want to talk. She ended up cutting her finger with shears. She started freaking out and said "I am a free bleeder" and from then on it was all about her and not my haircut. First off a free bleeder would have gone to hospital and second the cut was superficial. Any how she got bandaged and spent the rest of my appt. talking loudly about her wound and herself to all of her colleagues the entire appt. She never checked the front long layers of my hair to see if they were even. She did not offer for me to look at back of head with mirror. When I got him I understood why. My hair was all chopped up willy nilly in the back. One large piece was so short it is still sticking up two months later. I have had this simple bob cut hundreds of times and cannot believe it was such a ratchet job. Truly how this girl passed her course is a mystery. A three year old could have done the same and probably not cut her hand in the process. Stay away from this chain. read more

Staff needs to do a better job of letting customer know what the real wait time will be. Stopped in today and was told it would be only a few minutes before I could a hair cut. Since both operators were finishing up customers, and only one other person was waiting, I sat down. After about ten minutes, both operators were finished and one was getting ready to help the lady who was there before me. Then a gentlemen walks in, and I get told he has an appointment and my wait time was going to be longer. Why was I not told about the appointment customer when I arrived and instead being lead to think a few minutes meant a few minutes and not 30 or 45 minutes.
