The door advised they were opened until 5:00. One of the stylists opened the door and seemed a bit annoyed that we were there. The other stylist took my daughter back after it was discussed who would be cutting her hair. This stylist was much friendlier, thank goodness. I was disappointed that we felt like we were inconveniencing the stylists. If I were the owner of this salon this would make me unhappy. Also, that they were closing an hour early when a client had clearly checked in. What if we had not gotten there before they left? I don't think we will be returning to this salon.

It felt like my hair was done by an amateur on her first day in school, with little care or attention to detail. To make matters worse, Jocelyn, the stylist was on the phone for about an hour while flat ironing my hair, which was incredibly unprofessional. Despite this, I was still charged $130 for a wash and haircut. I ended up going to The Masters afterward, where one of their stylists fixed my hair and gave it the full-body look I originally wanted. PS. I have asked her a haircut similar to the picture below but got a flat lame cut... I still can't believe she was on the phone for an hour while flat ironing my hair. Hair stylists (more like destroyers) are rude. Mine didn't bother to listen to what I wanted. One commented about needing alcohol during my cut. I was given options of things I didn't have the length to do. I sent pictures of myself well in advance, and said I was open to see what they would come up with. Haylee gave me a haircut that looks like it has chunks missing from one side, and a bowl cut on the other. I specifically said I do not want to look like a "Karen," at least I got that. Instead, I look like my mom decided she was too cheap to pay for a haircut and just went willy-nilly on it. Aparrently I should continue to "brush my hair to the side" to train it. Then about a week before my appointment I was texted by Madison who asked some basic questions to gauge what I wanted done and be ready for it, and this helped a lot. I got a balayage done too, and Madison got exactly the results I wanted. And I know this may not matter to others, but she also was quick to offer making my next appointment, and this was a big deal for me since I am bad about making appointments in general. The salon also has some very fun decor, which helps pass the time while you wait for your hair to process. In all, a fabulous experience!
