You walk into a generous boutique of clothing, well selected jewelry and personal grooming items. I was greeted warmly by Storm who as it happened I had been booked with. I was a bit apprehensive about finding a salon moving from out of state, but my fears were soon put to rest. Storm took the time to discuss my hair needs and, as a new customer, gave me an estimate up front which really impressed me. I felt like I was in competent hands. She has a charming, easy going personality and by the end of my appointment felt as if I'd known her a lot longer. She did a fantastic job on my hair color and cut which really needed service after my move. The salon felt bespoke to me in the eclectic style and special touches throughout he salon. I really liked the repurposed vanity dressers used for stations. What a great idea. It was so refreshing after coming from a city where most salons look boringly the same and the service seems standardized and rushed. First impression of the shop, it's so cozy and has a southern charm to it. I thought it was adorable. And the ladies working all seemed like nice people. I showed her one reference photo of Dakota Johnson and her iconic bangs. I already had bangs, but they were grown out past my nose at this point. Not only did she make my hair very similar to Dakota's, but she added some extra layering on top to give it some edge. As well as textured my hair so it wouldn't tangle so badly as my hair is very fine and prone to tangling with the smallest gust of wind. I will definitely be back to see her, thank you Allison!
