My better half needs a professional trim every 2 weeks - I swear his hair grows overnight! So anyways, he tried Cutrone's this weekend. The older gentleman did his beard this time. While he was very nice to speak with and the experience was fine, when he came out, I saw several missed places under his chin and neck. The wait time was also pretty ridiculous - there were 12 people in front of him on a Saturday morning! Don't think he is inclined to come back here again, honestly. read more

Lawrence is ok but the young guy doesn't know the difference between a "light trim" and "cut off all my fucking hair." My suggestion is go find somewhere else if you don't want your hair to be screwed up. read more

I went in with a full head of hair and asked for a very light trim and told the barber that I didn't want much taken off the top, especially in certain areas. For context I haven't had a haircut in 3 months or so, there was a lot of wiggle room in terms of what could be taken off. She then took off a lot of hair, especially in areas I specifically said not to take a lot off. She also shaved the side of my head, which is normal for my cut, but she shaved higher than I've ever been shaved before. Needless to say I will be wearing a hat for the next few weeks and won't be returning. My hair looked way better before I got it cut. read more

I was a little hesitant to go, simply because I have had bad experiences walking into barbershops or salons that I was unfamiliar with. I decided to trust the online reviews and just go. I was in desperate need to get a haircut. Cutrone's has the feel of an old school barbershop. The chairs there are top notch and super comfortable. The straight razor shave and hot towel is an added bonus to this place. Brandon cut my hair and trimmed my beard for me. He did a fantastic job! My first straight edge shave. Great experienced barber and relaxing environment. I've always wanted a straight edge shave... 20 years I've been buzz clipping my head. We'll I stumbled onto this shop. Soon as I walked in, I knew I couldn't pass up this opportunity after I watched Lawrence run a straight razor on the ol' boy in the chair already. This experience exceeded my expectation of what I thought a barber shop would be. Hot towels, hot lather, and steady hands. The beard was no different. I was recommended to go here for a haircut by a customer and it did not disappoint. The place has a nice atmosphere. Tons of reading material and sports on TV while you wait. Lawrence who cut my hair did it perfectly and also was very friendly and held a good conversation. He even recommended some things to do and places to eat in the area. The older gentleman tends to cut off way too much when you say just a trim at the top. One time I even showed him a picture and he just did his own thing that was nothing like the picture.
