Not for the faint at heart. Not stylish place. Scalping barber shop. You need to have no hair.

Cutrone's Barber Shop - Cutrone's barber shop - Barbers Near Me - Baton Rouge, Louisiana

I walked in, grabbed an open chair, and was pleased how orderly every customer was handled. I am definitely returning!

I am from out of town and I walked in to get a beard trim and a line up on it. The Barber/Woman did a great job and I will make sure when I travel back here I will use her again moving forward. Don read more

Old school barber shop vibe. Sit down and wait your turn. Straight razor to clean up your neck.

Cut was okay. Lawrence did a good job on the cut. His clippers need to be cleaned and oiled. They tore my neck to shreds. Also, he cut off a ton of growth from one corner of my mustache. Just need to tighten up, guys. read more

Cutrone's Barber Shop - My butchered neck. - Barbers Near Me - Baton Rouge, Louisiana

My better half needs a professional trim every 2 weeks - I swear his hair grows overnight! So anyways, he tried Cutrone's this weekend. The older gentleman did his beard this time. While he was very nice to speak with and the experience was fine, when he came out, I saw several missed places under his chin and neck. The wait time was also pretty ridiculous - there were 12 people in front of him on a Saturday morning! Don't think he is inclined to come back here again, honestly. read more

Had an awesome cut and fade thanks to Lawrence! Great space and location and highly recommended!

Don't go to this place unless you're a middle aged white man, who has already balded away most of his hair and just need a cleanup. Otherwise go spend an extra 5 dollars somewhere else to get what you want. Most Caucasian line up I've ever gotten. read more

Messed up my fade. I was mislead by the review on yelp. You spend a couple extra dollars for your haircut then taking your business here.

Lawrence is ok but the young guy doesn't know the difference between a "light trim" and "cut off all my fucking hair." My suggestion is go find somewhere else if you don't want your hair to be screwed up. read more

Second time getting a great haircut from Lawrence and I'll be back soon. Super quick and at a great price. You really can't beat these guys.

Literally messed my hair up so bad for 22 dollars was a huge waste of money. was for sure the owners son who cut my hair and did not know what he was doing. it took him 2 hours to cut my hair NEVER AGAIN! read more

Great place for a quick and cheap cut! They take walk ups and it's only about ~$25 for a decent quality cut. read more

I went in with a full head of hair and asked for a very light trim and told the barber that I didn't want much taken off the top, especially in certain areas. For context I haven't had a haircut in 3 months or so, there was a lot of wiggle room in terms of what could be taken off. She then took off a lot of hair, especially in areas I specifically said not to take a lot off. She also shaved the side of my head, which is normal for my cut, but she shaved higher than I've ever been shaved before. Needless to say I will be wearing a hat for the next few weeks and won't be returning. My hair looked way better before I got it cut. read more

The lady who cut my hair did a good job, and I'll definitely be coming back again. They were very busy despite just opening on a Thursday morning, but I was able to have my turn in a timely manner as there were 3 hair stylists/barbers available. A men's cut only costs $17, which is a very good deal for anyone wondering if they should come in for a haircut. read more

Barbershop was clean and well taken care of. Haircut was quick and well done with good service.

They did a terrible job they cut it two inches shorter on one side than the other I'm going to have to go somewhere else to get it fixed

Hands down, still the sharpest cut I can get in town. Professional Barbers who pay close attention to detail. Always receive compliments at work and school. It's also nice to support local business as well. Come by Cutrone's Barber Shop! read more

Larry was great. Gave a super sharp haircut and knew just what he was doing. I'm glad he moved over from LSU, he's been taking care of my hair for months now and I'll still come back every time. Protip - he's got wifi available if you ask. read more

Read great reviews and decided to give this Barber Shop a try. I have nothing to say except that this is the quintessential barbershop experience and a damn good cut and shave to boot. New favorite Barber Shop. read more

I walked into Cutrone's yesterday for the first time and was pretty impressed. I was a little hesitant to go, simply because I have had bad experiences walking into barbershops or salons that I was unfamiliar with. I decided to trust the online reviews and just go. I was in desperate need to get a haircut. Cutrone's has the feel of an old school barbershop. The chairs there are top notch and super comfortable. The straight razor shave and hot towel is an added bonus to this place. Brandon cut my hair and trimmed my beard for me. He did a fantastic job! I was very pleased; and I can be fairly picky about my hair and beard. They landed a new loyal customer yesterday, I will certainly be back. I highly recommend Cutrone's. I want to see this place stick around for a long time. read more

My first straight edge shave. Great experienced barber and relaxing environment. I've always wanted a straight edge shave... 20 years I've been buzz clipping my head. We'll I stumbled onto this shop. Soon as I walked in, I knew I couldn't pass up this opportunity after I watched Lawrence run a straight razor on the ol' boy in the chair already. This experience exceeded my expectation of what I thought a barber shop would be. Hot towels, hot lather, and steady hands. The beard was no different. Lawrence finessed it bit by bit until it was exactly how I wanted it. Professional and man pampered is the best way to describe it without my wife making fun of me. Next time I'm thru. I'm stopping whether I need it or not. read more

Bobby is a great Barber. Ever since he's given me the best haircut I've ever had-I have never let anyone else touch my hair. I've always gone to the generic places like Just for Him and Supercuts and all. This place has it all though. It's like what I'd imagine a nostalgic 1960's barbershop would be. Enhance the ambiance with an amazing haircut, and you're a Cutrone's lifer!! read more

I have been getting my hair cut from Lawrence for about 12 years. If anyone wants to get a good haircut come see Lawrence. The LSU Student Union did him a favor by getting rid of him. He has a much bigger barbershop very clean has tv's and in a great location. read more

Cutrone's Barber Shop - Barbers Near Me - Baton Rouge, Louisiana

I was recommended to go here for a haircut by a customer and it did not disappoint. The place has a nice atmosphere. Tons of reading material and sports on TV while you wait. Lawrence who cut my hair did it perfectly and also was very friendly and held a good conversation. He even recommended some things to do and places to eat in the area. While his price is great the only problem I do have is the cost to fly down every time I need a haircut will get expensive. read more

Only Barber Shop I know that's open on a Monday. A true Barber Shop. I'm horrible with names, but both Barbers there today are extremely skilled. It was definitely busy, which is when you know it's a good barber shop. I'm from out of town, and found them via Yelp. Anytime I'm in Baton Rouge and need a haircut, this shop will forever have my business. read more

This place is great! I go there for straight razor shaves! Excellent!!! Very professional staff. I will be a regular!!

Best barbershop in Baton Rouge - don't worry if there are a decent number of people waiting, the line goes quick.

Great atmosphere, and inexpensive full service haircut, neck shave with straight edge and hot towel. My biggest problem is that in all my years of going to barbers, they are really slow. They need to match their customers. If they have all the seats full waiting, the pace needs to be picked up. I'm not talking sloppy haircuts. Just be precise and quick. read more

Highly recommended. Best place I have gotten a cut from in Baton Rouge, fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff. Prices are lower than any other place in Baton Rouge I have gone to. I was actually shocked when she said the price because for the work they put into the cut I as expecting a much higher price. My go to place for now on read more

A great experience from a master of his craft. Tge gentleman that is the owner did such a great job. I don't have e much hair anymore but the attention to detail is well noted. He lined my hair, beard, and eyebrows to perfection. Definitely somewhere I will go for my next ear lowering. read more
