I first saw Draft Picks barbershop on Jefferson a while ago but since I live towards lsu it's quite the drive. Having found out about a second location near campus I was thrilled how convenient and close it is! The appointment process was smooth , they let you select your barber and even have their Instagram links on the appointment page prior to so you can see their work. They even had safety covid 19 protocol questions as well before you are able to schedule a appointment with a barber ! As I entered I was greeted by both barbers their during my appointment and both very friendly and wearing a masks as well. I selected a barber based of their reviews and let me say he definitely exceeded expectation! Kelvin did a fantastic job on my hair ,he gave me a fantastic fade and style with my hair which I can arguably say it's one of my favorite haircuts of all time. He definitely enjoys his work and really pays attention to detail which I greatly appreciate. I highly recommend for anyone especially students considering the location!

To begin she trimmed one side using a comb to adjust for length and the other not. The next thing I she is she grabbed the top of my hair and cut off prob 4 inches of length from half of my bangs. After noticing this she began to argue that that's what I requested. This was in front of other customers that were in a state of shock because she disregarded what I said and continued to try and cut more. After a minute or two of back and forth it was decided that now that this much length was cut we would have to make it blend. She kept referring to me as pulling back my hair but I tried to iterate that my hair is brushed back not tied up.( which would be impossible even if I wanted to since she cut half of my head to the point my bangs don't reach my eyebrows the other half is to my chin) Long story short if you want to look like my picture which is retarded go see them. Also when I asked for the owners business card she refused to give it to me. Then I called later to see if the owner was in and she states no. I then asked if she could take a message and her reply was no. "Call back tomorrow or something " was her response
