We had a fantastic experience with this breeder! We were put on a waiting list in December 2018, picked our puppy in April 2019, and she was with us in May. They even arranged to drive her to us since we weren't local. She seemed to have some basic house training and she knew how to sit. She's now nearing 2 years old and has has been a perfect dog! I can't say enough good about our whole experience with this breeder. I purchased our Puggle on 4/15/16 with great hesitation after reading the previous post on yelp. I had already put the down payment on Brutus when I came across the review on Yelp. After we just spent 4,000 dollars to try and save out first Puggle in January, I was very hesitant purchasing a dog from a questionable breeder. I called Jonas and spoke to him about my concerns, he was very nice and honest and offered to immediately refund my down payment. He told me if I wanted I could come up and check out his home and where the dogs were kept and I could take Brutus home without paying him the remaining $500.00. In two weeks if there were no problems, I could pay him then. What trust!!!! We decided to go up and check everything out. Jonas kept his dogs in a newer built outside building that was heated. All of the dogs were in a pen together and all seemed very happy and playful. They were in no way dirty, we wanted to take them all home. Jonas kept his promise and let me take Brutus home without giving him the remaining 500 dollars. Jonas assured me that if something were to happen to Brutus that he would get me another dog or pay the vet bills. I can say that Brutus is 4 months old now and is doing great. To be perfectly clear, we love our puppy, Jethro, and he has a great temperament. However, this breeder is not trustworthy. When my boyfriend and I chose a puppy from this breeder, Jonas, we were assured that he was healthy and up to date on his vaccinations. For a 9 week old puppy, which we were told he was, this appeared to be true. However, a few short days after bringing our new puppy home, he began to act lethargic, was refusing food, and had diarrhea. We took him to a vet immediately and he tested positive for Parvovirus, which he had only a 50% chance of surviving. We were also told that it was a "strong positive" and that there was a good chance he'd already been fighting the virus when we got him. After several phone calls Jonas did, to his credit, reimburse us for the first day of treatment, although his first response was that we could bring the puppy back and be refunded. We didn't want to bring him back, because we were already quite attached and didn't trust that he would be treated properly, so we pushed for the reimbursement. To make matters worse, in going through his records, we discovered that Jethro was 11 weeks, not 9, when we bought him, which meant that he was behind on his vaccinations when we purchased him. Update: I received a message from this breeder today, telling me that my puppy was one of the first to be ill in a problem they had with parvo at the time and that it was "all new" to them. And that they have been "parvo free" for a year and a half. The message did not address the difference in the age we were told and the age on the paperwork or the fact that that difference meant that he was in fact overdue for his vaccinations and not up to date when we purchased him. We adore our little boy. He is our second puggle and has a very good temperament. However, there are some serious problems with the breeder. First, my puppy came to us with fleas and the giardia parasite (found and diagnoses within hours of arrival). Jonas reimbursed us for the the flea treatments, but to our surprise not the giardia treatment. Now, a year and a half later, our boy has flank alopecia. While this cannot be directly attributed to his genes - 2 vets indicated it was likely hereditary given the circumstances. We love our baby and would make this purchase all over again, but please be aware the breeder is not as flawless or as reputable as he seems. read more

Absolutely love our puppy that we got from this breeder. Although I have my concerns with this place, the puppy we recently got has giardia an intestinal parasite that can be passed on to humans and other animals. I talked to another lady who recently got a puppy from this breeder and her puppy also has giardia. Just a caution, probably all the puppies there have giardia hopefully they fix the problem ASAP. read more
