Jessica called me that night asking me if I could pay her ahead of time for my appointment the following week that I rebooked. She told me she needed the money. I brought my dogs in at 11 a.m. and kept calling periodicall. Her excuse was that my tea cup yorkie was matted. I went there to get them at 9 pm withitout telling Jessica I was going there. I wanted my dogs. She kept them 10 hours and they still weren't ready. She had no other dogs. Had I not paid ahead of time INCLUDING THE TIP, I would have taken my dogs after 5 hours. My dogs were not bathed nor were their nails clipped. My yorkie had a bald head and her Body had been chopped up with scissors. She looked liked a gremlin. Romeo had not been trimmed. There was dog poop all ober the floor. She probably took a long nap. She never returned my money, but threatened to call her lawyer. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG THERE. NEVER PAY AHEAD OF TIME. I WAS SO WORRIED ABOUT MY DOGS. 10 HOURS WITH NO OTHER FOGS THERE FOR HER TO GROOM

I worked at Ashland Jail and the inmates have better living conditions than the dog cages they have back there. The entire back area of that place looks dirty. And speaking of dirt, when I picked my dog up he had some dirt on him and he smelled like urine and feces. He was peeking over the jail-cell like blinds on his kennel door, and I could tell he was shaking in fear. The room had no outside view, no TV, no radio, and was cold. Most boarding places I've used will give him a bath, trim his nails, and put a cute bandana on him. None of that is true with Cajun Canine. I kind of believe they just tossed him in the cage and forgot about him. He ate like a wild beast when I finally got him home, and he downed almost 4 cups of water. That's also unlike him. They also tried to rush me to pick him up because they have really weird hours. I was in Lafayette when I got a call asking me to pick him up at 1pm instead of the agreed upon 4pm because they had a bunch of cancellations today. I was trying to work with the woman and we ended up agreeing to 3pm. Which means we had to cut our plans short. Well Lafayette traffic is insane and I ended up being 30 minutes late. I was in Gibson at 3pm when the girl called and said she was there waiting for me and wasn't going to be there much longer. Her reason was that she had plans and she was very adamant in saying she wasn't going to be there much longer. So what am I supposed to do? Pay for another night because your day was slow? You have a business and it provides a service. I paid for that service and I expect you to render it. You having personal plans is none of my concern and it shouldn't affect anything. Finally, she mentioned that she doesn't think he'd be accepted back there anymore because he was too scared and didn't want to interact with anyone. Which is really unlike my dog because he loves everyone and is a playful, happy, and social puppy. That was just her way of trying to get back at me for ruining her Thursday night plans by 30 minutes. Heaven forbid. But... you know the saying. If my dog doesn't like you - neither do I. One star.

When I had to put my 18 y/o Border Collie down it was one of the hardest things I have ever done. Dr. Anne and her staff were so compassionate. They knew my Roscoe so well, we were all in the room crying. If it weren't for Dr.Anne, I wouldn't have had all of the wonderful years that we spent together. I now have another dog that they are just as compassionate and professional and helpful in every way as they were before. I wouldn't bring my dog anywhere else. Thank you Anne Laurentte! We just lost one of our dogs that was 16 years old in the middle of the night unexpectedly. The comfort and support when we visited with our other dog was just amazing. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable but they are also extremely compassionate.
