They've always got some kind of huge sale going on so you can get some really inexpensive fabrics. That being said, I don't expect the fabrics to be as high quality as, say, Mood Fabrics, but I've made plenty of pants and coats and sweaters without any problems. If you're just starting out, their fabrics are cheap enough to use for practice or making muslins (when there's a sale, obviously). I've gotten tweed and different types of wool for $5/yard. It's worth it to me.

Tried it on 10plus sweatshirts and it happened on every single one. So I did a return and stated what was happening and how it ruined 10plus sweatshirts (meaning the thread count would be high) so they sent me a label I wrapped it in bubble wrap enough so it wouldn't break and dropped it off they recieved it stated they were doing the numbers to make sure they all matched and checking thread count. Then today I get a message that apparently the item is damaged and they won't refund me my money. So they won't refund me my almost 3,000 and won't provide me any photos of the damaged ups. We took them to Kauffman's after seeing the wonderful reviews, and we couldn't be more pleased. The craftsmanship is spectacular. These are Ethan Allen chairs, and they look better than brand new. There is no reason to go out and ever buy brand new chairs. Find chairs with good bones, take them to Kauffman's to be reupholstered and you will be so much happier with the result. I cannot wait to find the next chairs to get done at Kauffmans. Their work is a work of art.
