Love the store! It's such a cute and unique gem in Clovis…read more The owner is very helpful and we appreciate her always being so personable and accommodating. The only reason I'd give 4 stars instead of 5 is just that a couple of the employees (at no fault to the owner) have a very snooty attitude which was frustrating. All in all though a wonderful place to browse and find unique gifts, fun toys and cute clothing.

The clothing prices are high but everything else seems reasonably priced. There is actually a lovely greenhouse in the back and lots of great lawn & patio decor. The cute stuff for sale warrants 2 stars. 3 stars off for the shopping experience... I can sense when I am being shadowed at stores for security reasons rather than customer service reasons and felt a lot of eyes and tailing while browsing here. I think they thought we were shoplifting. It was super uncomfortable. No one approached us. I think it is because my mom asked for help when she noticed and then bought some items. After reading reviews on Yelp, my perception of my negative experience here is confirmed. In my experience this treatment is often connected to racial bias, but who knows? I was looking kinda ratchet; it was a "Mom hair don't care" and sweatpants sort of day so it could be a socioeconomic bias based on our general appearance. As a new mother who doesn't always find time to primp myself, I'm tired of having to justify being a decent member of society by dressing up for a shopping trip so that I'm not treated badly by customer service at a store. Perhaps they've had shoplifters in the past but they should really get cameras so they don't go around wrongly accusing people on a hunch as other reviewers mentioned. This sucks because I'd really like to go back for some plants and a really awesome Talavera pottery. I may take some adoring fans, put on my classiest outfit, ask for help immediately on arrival, flash wads of cash in their faces, and make my shopping intentions clear Selena/Pretty Woman style. Sad.

They were so nice and helpful and answered all of our questions. Our apartment was small and in a sketch place but we had zero problems there and the neighbors were very very kind. The people at Colonial were very helpful whenever we had issues submitting our rent online and just agh I literally can't say enough how wonderful they were. We were able to get a shorter lease from them if we needed but ended up using our full 6 months. Moving out was so easy we packed our stuff got the carpets cleaned (per the lease) they even provided us with a list of carpet cleaners that they have used and recommended which made it even easier on us! And then after they came and the inspection was short and sweet! Today we got our security deposit back in full and they even wrote us a nice note on the check saying "I hope we can be of assistance in the future, thank you". Which just really meant a lot. If you are military and are waiting for base housing I HIGHLY recommend looking for an apartment or home or even if you want to live off base in general, using this company! Their office is easy to find and they are such a friendly group of people!

They lost our paperwork showing we paid our pet deposit and we were charged exorbitant amounts for things we were not told we would be charged for at the move-out inspection. When I tried to contact the property manager about the charges, he was incredibly unprofessional. He would repeatedly dodge answering my questions and never provided proof (receipts) for any of his charges. After a month of back and forth, and a letter from an attorney, I finally received my deposit back, but it was still the incorrect amount. Save yourself from being taken advantage of by this company, rent from somewhere else! Also, if you are a homeowner, do not lease through Colonial Real Estate! There was water leaking from my ceiling and it took 4 phone calls before they finally sent someone over to look at the house. By then, there was severe water damage to the ceiling.
