Started from the Garage now we here! I've been going to Charlie for haircuts since my senior year in high school, he's my best friend at the times Uncle. Im a creature of habbit and let me tell you, this man have NEVER ONCE EVER IN THE HISTORY OF EVERDOM EEVVVEERR gave me a bad hair cut. I even took a break once and saw a couple other barbers about 2 or 3 years in because they were located a bit closer but after they messed up my cut every time I went right back to Charlie and never had a thought of going else where since. It was very difficult to walk into another barber shop and see other guys walk out with a good fade, but as soon as I sat in the chair it's like the barber forgot how to cut and gave me a #2 buzz on the side. I couldnt believe how many times someone walked out with a good fade and I kept getting the new guy who panicked with my hair texture. Charlie is the only barber I've been to, that cuts hair the same for all different hair textures no matter where you're from. I never worried once about getting a fade from charlie because guarantee he is one of the best in Orlando. Charlie is very consistent. My hair cut always looks amazing and never have I had to correct it or ask him to fix anything. In fact, he's stopped me multiple occasions from walking out the shop to fix even just the tiniest hair that was out of place, because he really wants you to look and feel your best. Cant tell you how many times at other shops I've found random hairs I've had to take care of, but never at Cut It Out. When ever I want to change things up I tell him, sometimes I have a specific idea and other times I tell him just hook it up and he does an amazing job. I've had a Fohawk and I've had to have a professional looking cut since I'm a Ballroom Dance Instructor. He even took my professional cut and gave it personality with a hard cut on one side and a couple lines on the other that I eventually became known for. They were my trademark haha. His clients are all respectful and every now and then sometimes famous or up and coming in the basketball scene which I found to be super cool! You never know who you'll run into at the shop. I've followed him from multiple locations, to the one he is currently at. This is by far the best. It's spacious so you don't feel cramped into one room as you might in another private barber shop. You can hang out on the custom made bench while you wait you and watch TV. Charles is an extremely knowledgeable man. He's always willing to share his opinion and give you some life advice when you ask for it, over the years though I've never told him I've always looked up to this man very much. I go into his shop not just for a haircut but expecting to learn a thing or two if I need some advice. His ambition and drive to grow and make the world a better place one cut at a time really shows, he started cutting my hair in his garage and now has this wonderful private space that he's worked really hard on. He's become a mentor to me and someone I highly respect. Always pushing people, talking about how you need to grow as a person and business man but also living by example. You're classic "I went to the barber and he gave me some life advice that really helped while he cracked jokes" kind of gentleman. I have nothing but great things to say about this man and his barber skills. 5 stars isn't enough to tell you how satisfied I am with all my haircuts and experiences. So let 10 years of doing business with the man tell you a thing or two. If you're looking for a great barber, please check Charlie out. You will not be disappointed. I've seen grandpa's and grandchildren walking out this shop looking all sorts of generations of fresh! When I have an important event coming up charlie is there for me and I never have to worry about the "Well if I get a cut I should wait 2 days because then it'll look normal to me" feeling with him. I'll get a cut and host a show the same day because the cut always made me look and feel fantastic, always giving me a confidence boost. I always get complements on my hair after a cut. Even 4 or 5 weeks after a cut people say how nice my hair is. He cuts it so it can even grow out and look nice. SKILLZ. read more

Simply put, the only person I trust with my hair. Would rather wait a weekend without a cut from him than getting one from someone else. Be prepared for awesome conversation and for big laughs. Just don't laugh too much or you might get cut! Awesome guy and the best cuts, period. read more

Excellent barber! Wonderful service, timely, clean, and friendly professional environment. Would recommend this barber to anyone.

Awesome service from Charles! My bf needed a cut and his previous barber hasn't been available at the times he needed. Of course checked yelp to see what else is out there! Found Charles based on the pictures and reviews and figured why not. My bf booked last minute and soon realized that it was a private shop in the My Salon Suites in Winter Park. Charles is a very friendly and hardworking man. He renovated his suite to make it feel like a chill hangout spot/man cave with TV's and a stocked mini fridge! He's all about providing an amazing and comfortable guest experience. I was able to hangout in the room too and enjoyed watching tv and the conversations. Forgot to take pictures of the cut, but my bf loved it and was even more pleased with the service he was providing. Not a lot of barbers/salons do that. Definitely a great experience and a superb service. My bf will definitely be back! Go book him now. You won't be disappointed! read more
