I just moved here(early 2019), so I didn't know anything about any salons in the area. I wish I…read morecould give this place zero stars. The stylists do the bare minimum in customer service. The one time I went there, there was a ring of (black)color all around my head. Being a stylist myself, I expect better than that(it's not rocket science to keep my skin from staining). This salon is so short-staffed, that they can't even bother to return a message(and when they do, they don't apologize, they just blame each other). The inside of the salon looks new, but from the outside it looks like a place my grandmother wouldn't even go into(I drove by it TWICE looking for it, because it was so run-down). If you really want quality hair care, and service with a smile(and a stellar cup of coffee), go across the street, and see ANYONE at Sheer Professionals. People come in from out of state for that place!

First-rate experience! This was my first visit to Hammer & Nails, and Preston was my stylist. He…read morewas fantastic. What really stood out was Preston's unbelievable attention to detail. He took his time, was incredibly precise, and clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. Nothing about the experience felt rushed or routine. He paid attention to the little things, made sure everything was exactly right, and the finished haircut and beard trim reflected it. Beyond his skill, he was personable, professional, and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. This is not hyperbole when I say it was the best haircut experience I've ever had. I've had memberships at other men's-focused salons, including Tune Up and Boardroom, and my experience at Hammer & Nails (especially with Preston) easily outpaced them. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about his craft and pays attention to every detail, ask for Preston. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!
