I got Jason, this was my first time here, made an appointment, sat for a bit, got in the chair told him specifically what I was looking for in a cut and beard trim and line up, my beard looked terrible and needed serious help, barely touched the beard threw the cut at me, paid the 35$ and 10$ tip as I didnt plan on coming back but to secure the right to speak my piece. This place is fine if you have kids and need a quick no big deal haircut, if you are a professional or someone who is particular about your haircut etc maybe look for a higher end shop, I will from now on. read more

If you're black, don't go here. They're extremely prejudice and rude which is really weird considering that it's 2022. I walked in to get a quick fade and was immediately turned away. The sign literally says walk-ins welcome. There were two barbers and they were busy but I was willing to wait! They told me to come back tomorrow but why is the open sign on and why does the website say you close at 8pm??? I immediately asked "Do you not know how to cut black hair?" They responded "we do." And nothing more. F*ck those guys, F*ck this place, & F*ck the guy who walked in right after I walked out (He got serviced!!!). I'd rate 0 stars if I could! read more

I was an out-of-town guest and needed a haircut terribly. I stopped by Saffell's. It was a great experience. You can tell it's mostly locals and everyone that stops by knows each other. Yet, everyone was still very welcoming to an out-of-towner (even one that is an SEC fan). Not only was the experience a great one, but the haircut was probably the best I've had in my adult life. I was a first time customer today who was referred by a regular customer of the shop. I walked in and when it was my turn I asked for a simple beard trim and for my neck to be straightened up. The barber was quick, which I appreciated and after a quick check I thought it was alright and moved along with the business end of things. Once in my car I took another look and realized that not only was my beard trimmed unevenly, my neck like looked like a first day barber student had been cut loose without supervision. Like I said I asked for a trim- and afterwards my mustache is almost shaved down to nothing and my neck looks like a jigsaw puzzle. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed and will have to go elsewhere to have this mess cleaned up. read more
