He made our love story the focal point of the ceremony, and kept our guests engaged and even entertained! My husband and I are so grateful that we chose Brad to play such a pivotal role in our big day. He even made sure to check in with a groomsman who had an unfortunate axe incident at the wedding venue (see photo below!). We cannot recommend him enough!

His vendor profile caught our eye because of the good reviews, his big smile, and the Journey t-shirt he wore as he officiated someone's wedding (we're big 80's rock fans). Our initial communications with Rev. Brad were great. He responded quickly and didn't badger us with constant phone calls/texts/emails while we narrowed down our top officiants to meet up with. Once we decided to meet with him, we had a long, in depth meeting that lasted more than an hour. He happily walked us through all wedding planning timelines and what documents we would need to get our marriage license, as well as what his services would look like. We loved how interested he was in our love story, interests, and desires for our wedding day. Six months later, it was time for our final meeting before the wedding. Rev. Brad took his time to create the perfect ceremony for us. The meeting took about two hours and we left feeling very confident that we would have the ceremony of our dreams... until March came around. With COVID-19 on the rise and everything shutting down, like many other couples, we were forced to postpone our wedding. Rev. Brad was very understanding and was able to accommodate our new wedding date on June 7th which was later postponed again to October 2020 (fingers crossed). As weeks went by COVID-19 kept going strong and our wedding license kept collecting dust on our table, about to expire. So, we decided to elope. We called Rev. Brad and asked if he would be willing to marry us in a quick, socially distanced ceremony at a nearby park. He said "absolutely" and was able to marry us in a very sweet, intimate ceremony during a gorgeous day in April with both sets of parents attending via videocall. We are looking forward to having our big (or at least bigger) celebration in October when Rev. Brad can tell our love story in front of our friends and loved ones. Whether you're looking to have a big ceremony or a small, intimate elopement, we absolutely recommend Rev. Brad.

She really takes the time to get to know you and your future spouse so her ceremony is written personalized and perfect. She took into account our venue and made beautiful similarities between love and nature which was perfect for us. Her ceremony was sincere and put tears in both of our eyes. She as also brief and not "too wordy" which was perfect. We got so many compliments on her and we would recommend her to anyone, no matter if you want something nondenominational, or perhaps more religious. She will make your ceremony personalized and perfect. She is extremely prompt and responsive to emails and questions. She also promptly filed for our marriage license with the county and we got our copy in the mail very quickly. She also does wedding day-of coordinating and will do rehearsals, however we didn't need these services. Although we know she would have been great!

From the first planning call, to the emails back and forth, to the rehearsal, and then the ceremony, Jennifer comes off as an old friend - someone you've know for years. She has a warmth and kindness that makes you feel at ease, and a professionalism that makes you certain you're ceremony will go off without a hitch. Jennifer was crucial in our ceremony planning, offering great ideas for how to make our ceremony fit us and not feel cookie cutter! Each person we have talked to since our wedding has mentioned how much they enjoyed our ceremony, and that makes us feel so special. If you are in need of someone to officiate your wedding, look no further. Jennifer is the perfect person to oversee your special day.

We spoke to her a few times about her lack of organization, but she didn't seem to correct it. Karolina may need and assistant as she seems too busy. I wrote out all of the details so she wouldn't forget and I also provided the venue with a copy as back up. Karolina did not seem comfortable with conversing via phone so it was difficult to reach her. She sent long emails, ignoring our preference of communicating via phone due to our busy work schedule. Karolina's true lack of organization was obvious during our wedding rehearsal, as she did not know what to do. Everyone was lost because she didn't bring copies of the ceremony schedule. It was very embarrassing for our wedding party and the venue staff to keep telling us how unorganized, overwhelmed, and how much of an amateur she looked, and how rude she was to them when they asked simple questions. I explained to Karolina that she was unorganized and everyone could see it. She stormed off screaming "I am organized. I am organized", which was one of the most unprofessional and bizarre moments I have ever experienced. Karolina disappeared many times during our almost THREE hour rehearsal, leaving us to figure things out. She left without apologizing or even saying bye to me. The rehearsal put us behind 2 hours, which forced us to cancel our welcome reception for out of town guests. We had to be the mediator for some issues Karolina and our vendors had. Our makeup schedule was thrown off because Karolina lied about sending the wedding day timeline to our makeup artist. BUYER BEWARE: She will make up lies about us firing "many wedding coordinators and florist" , which is SIMPLY NOT TRUE. Not apologizing for how much stress she gave us, as SPECIFICALLY cited above, not addressing her performance, and completely making up lies, truly shows her true colors.

She narrowed down the vendor search to 2-3 recommendations for everything, which was a HUGE time-saver. The vendors she recommended were so unbelievably talented and professional. I was happy with every recommendation I received. She assisted in setting up meetings and jumped to my rescue when problems occurred. (For example--I had a bad first hair trial, and I couldn't get a response from the vendor to set up another trial. Karolina contacted the vendor immediately, and I got a response an hour later.) She checked in with me every month and responded to emails and texts within hours. I didn't even need my own timeline--she kept my wedding planning on track with every step. You can tell she is very experienced, and she thinks of all the details that a bride might forget. My reception was at the Adler Planetarium. I believe Karolina had never coordinated a wedding there, but she is so competent that she made me feel like I floated through the day--I had no stress, and I didn't have to think, coordinate, or plan anything the whole time. She is tasteful and made the venue look glamorous. She kept the timeline for the night on track. She only contacted me once or twice the whole night about easy things--the rest of the time she worked in the background to make the night flawless. She even thought to save snippets of my decorations and the photobooth album for me (I definitely would not have thought of that by the end of the night!) The other great thing about Karolina is that her personality is perfect for this job. During meetings she is sweet and easygoing, but she has an air of competency that lets you know she has everything in control. I was so happy to have worked with her--my wedding was perfect, and I owe so much of that to Karolina!

When I changed my mind and decided I didn't want to leave God out of our wedding, I said that I would pay for and find the officiant. I admit I didn't shop around. My wedding planning approach was one and done. Once I found something I liked, I was done "shopping." I liked that Rev. Phil offered a free intro session before committing to his services. After the first one hour meeting, my husband also liked him and we were sold. We did the full package and I'd recommend it. The love story was definitely the best part of the service. It's true what the other reviewers said, people talked about that love story for weeks and months after the wedding. We were willing to make fun of ourselves and this really helped carry-off the fun of the story. Rev. Phil has a great knack for telling a story. Everyone was laughing, including us. So many of our pictures show me looking around to the crowd laughing at my ridiculous self and trying to make eye contact with someone mentioned in the story. We were also able to incorporate a touching candle-lighting memorial for my husband's deceased parents, as well as readings that were a mix of religious and secular. Rev. Phil is very detail-oriented and will give you explicit instructions and details about each part of the service. I found this helpful, as I didn't want to worry about all the details myself. As he says, he's the professional and will take the stress of this part of the wedding off of you. As a bonus, I heard he even "fooled" by super-Catholic mom by wearing his collar. No grief for no Catholic wedding! Rev. Phil really helped make our wedding a perfect, unique and special night! I'd recommend him to anyone!

He also performed a mini-counseling session for us a few months before the wedding, which was really, really nice. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, Brandyn had to call in a replacement just three days before our wedding. I found out in response to an email I sent the day before the rehearsal. While these things happen, it was more than just a little disappointing to learn that the substitute would not be able to make it to the rehearsal dinner. I was promised he would be given all of Brandyn's notes about us, and to expect a call from him. We chatted briefly later that evening, and I felt pretty much 100% reassured. However, it seemed pretty obvious that little was done to fill Pastor Al in: - My first name and our last name was either incorrect or pronounced incorrectly; this distracted us (and our guests) right from the beginning; - The ceremony was religious to a near God-fearing level; definitely did not follow our wishes; - I had mentioned that I was going to have a reading performed in Polish and English, and the Pastor could only comment on how cool "that language was" after it had been done - clearly he had not been informed of certain details and it was so painfully obvious how little he knew about us. The ceremony was definitely still very beautiful and joyous, but I just wish the transition could have been orchestrated a bit more professionally so that I didn't have to respond to "Darina" instead of Daria the rest of the night. Fortunately, everyone was able to laugh these things off, myself included.

We only met with him once, but we immediately got along. He returned any and all of my emails and phone calls quickly. When we met, we let him know a little about our relationship and how we came to be engaged, and he managed to write a great ceremony. He's funny too! Pastor Brandyn made sure our ceremony went smoothly, and unfortunately he had to leave immediately after - but while he was there, he kept both of us calm, and kept things on schedule. He injected enough religion into the ceremony to prevent our grandmas from crying over their rosaries, but not so much that it made me and my husband cringe. Thank you Pastor B!!
