The technicians are not qualified to work with the public. Many working at Canadian Blood Services do not speak English. There was a big screw up on me in June 2024 as there machine was broken and was not properly service. I received a call the next day that my liver may be damaged because of contaminated blood. The Canadian Government needs to step in for Public Safety.

Basic scheduling and follow-up turn into a nightmare because of her. Patients pay good money and still get stonewalled by this person. It's unprofessional, disrespectful, and reflects extremely poorly on the entire office. Dr. Garbedian needs to deal with this immediately, the secretary is dragging the practice down.

Within a few sessions I was feeling so much better. The staff at Synergy cares about what they do and wants to help the patients. My therapist took the time to ask me all kinds of questions about why I was there and what my specific goals were for seeking out physiotherapy. They did hands on manual therapy to ease tension in my back and neck, explained to me why I was having the pain and what I could do about it on my own. I really loved that my physio took the time to send me an email link with a customized home exercise program videos that I could easily follow on my own. All in all the clinic experience has been the best I have experienced. One more great thing is that the clinic is within a 2 minute walk of the Woodbine subway station and is right on Danforth.

Due to missing a couple of steps on the stairs and landing on top of my right foot (see ugly…read morephotos) I have been out of commission for a while. I did some research and discovered Synergy Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation and liked that it was near the subway and that people in the neighbourhood recommended it so highly. I showed up in a medical boot with laryngitis (which I got the day before, damn it) so I wrote up all the details so my physiotherapist Jesse Awenus could get a good take on my particular situation since I literally could not speak for myself. I will admit that when I showed up that it was not just my ankle and throat that were broken. I hated walking in there so 100% vulnerable but it had been three weeks since I hurt my foot and it was no longer improving at all. As someone with fibromyalgia, any little injury can mean long term problems so I was just heartbroken. Jesse took my situation very seriously and was compassionate but tough in his belief that I can heal. His treatment was excellent and the exercises I went home with for homework were very effective. I went from being scared to do anything to make the situation worse to confidently working through the discomfort to build strength. He is clearly a highly trained healer that took my sorry grumpy pants ass and made me believe I could walk again. The photo with me wearing the black shoes was taken the first day I went for a walk without the boot, just a couple of weeks after treatment. I even felt comfortable enough for him to do manual manipulation which ended up realigning my foot dramatically. If I could afford to keep going every week, I would. Jesse did his best with the time and budget I had to get me walking again which I am! I even went on the subway yesterday for the first time. I have been to a lot of physiotherapist. I have never had a more positive experience. The space is bright, the people are friendly and the treatment is beyond impeccable. My only complaint is having to climb those stairs to get to Jesse's office but because the work he did was so impressive I will not hold that against the clinic. That said, there do seem to be offices on the main floor so please make sure that if you have severe mobility issues to call ahead to make sure the stairs will not be an issue. Thanks to Synergy Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation I can now get back to my foodie reviews! For the first time in a long time I have hope in my ability to heal. Rosenberg Chiropractic is one of only two chiropractic clinics in the GTA that also treats animals. (It's possible other vets in the GTA do animal chiropractic, though). I review not as someone who visits for my own spinal health, but who came to this clinic for my dog aka my best pal. So, this review is about the animal chiropractic mainly but I will also speak to the Doctors and their office more general. FOR PETS: If your dog (or cat) has ANY problems of the nervous system (brain, spinal cord... seizures, stroke, slipped disk), or spondylosis or stenosis, or problems that present to you as hip or limb problems (eg arthritis), or has a new pain or has slowed down, or has had an injury.... I WHOLEHEARTEDLY URGE YOU TO TAKE YOUR DOG (or cat) TO THIS CLINIC! And I say because every day I say, "I wish I found these guys sooner." I've spent tens of thousands of dollars trying to properly pin down and treat problems with my dog's nervous system. I was at the end of the line with tests (on answers) and "treatment options" (spinal surgery would be exploratory, due to no-answers. No thanks!). Dr's Craig and Paul subsequently found multiple subluxations in my dog's spine, a few of which are connected to the symptoms he has had for years as well as the acute-onset issues. Surprise, surprise: since his treatments not only has his acute problem improved, but longer-term problems I accepted as "normal for him" have improved. He is stronger in areas I hadn't even realized he was weak. He seems more intuitive and confident in his movement. Since regular adjustments, he sleeps better (in fact, better than he has in years), is less anxious (in fact, less so than he has been in years), and has his spark back (that had only been missing a couple months but boy did I miss it!). Dr's Craig and Paul offer SO MUCH information and are very collaborative with the other vets/specialists and are passionately involved in his followup care. THANK DOG FOR THESE GUYS! FOR PEOPLE: What I can say is the desk staff (Love you Jane!) are super great and flexible with booking, and if I trust these guys with my dog's spine, I would trust them with mine in a heartbeat. The Doctors are warm, personable, involved, and very knowledgeable. Yup, I'm gushing. From what I gather from their current and former pet patient's owners, this is a normal response.
