Had Value come in to give us a quote for painting once we completed our remodel as well as an additional piece of work - removing mirror off of a wall in the living room. We were given a quote of $800 which seemed high but were told it could take up to 2 days to complete the job. Since we knew they would have to bring in equipment to complete the job safely and not knowing what the removal would entail, we accepted the quote. This morning 2 workers arrived with a single ladder and completed the work in just over 3 hours, however, since they had to dispose of the glass we'll add an additional hour for taking it to wherever they take their debris. We called Value to discuss some sort of reduction on the quote and were met with a zillion reasons why they should get $800 dollars for 4 hours for two men and a ladder. They were not concerned at all with the fact that we were very upset knowing we had been extremely overcharged for the job. One could understand that the estimator thought that it would take longer so when presented with the fact that it was much easier than expected they would immediately adjust the bill accordingly--but no. This review is strictly against the Management/Customer Service of the company. The workers that came today were polite, friendly and worked cleanly, however, we could never recommend or engage a company that thinks so little of its customers.

We hired this company to complete work on our garage and driveway. Unfortunately, the work performed fell far short of what was agreed upon and paid for. Instead of improving the property, the driveway now has more cracks than before, circular grinder marks throughout, and areas where the original concrete pattern remains untouched. The job was neither completed to standard nor aligned with the commitments outlined in the proposal. Mr. Peter Ajello conducted himself in a deceptive and unprofessional manner, misrepresenting both his capabilities and his intent to deliver quality work. His actions have caused us significant financial loss and left us with a driveway in worse condition than when we began. It is obvious by the number of negative reviews that he consistenly misrepresents the quality of his work. All he seems to do is shift blame to others instead of providing the work he claims to be able to do by exagerrating his positive reviews. His workmanship, professionalism, and business practices are wholly unacceptable and reflect a serious misrepresentation of the trade. When he can't do the job he files claims with the insurance company... obviously being denied for his workmanship... see insurance copy pic included. THE PICTURES SAY IT ALL!!! We feel compelled to respond to the misleading statements made by Mr. Peter Ajello regarding the job performed on our garage and driveway. While not surprising, It is important to clarify that he is not stating all the facts, and ultimately, he did not complete the job as contracted. The fact remains, it doesn't matter if I met him or not! This is my residence... and guess what you were working for US... Mr. Ajello has made claims that his insurance company would correct ANY Wrong doing and insurance company denied coverage because nothing was wrong. However, we have confirmation that the insurance response clearly stated they "do not pay to restore, repair, or redo contractor work." This directly contradicts his version of events and further highlights his ongoing pattern of avoiding responsibility And misrepresentation. (SEE Picture Attached) of the insurance conclusion. Additionally, Mr. Ajello has tried to shift blame by falsely suggesting the damage shown in photos was caused by drainage issues. This is simply untrue. The photos clearly show damage in the middle of the driveway--an area that does, in fact, drain properly. I guess the drainage issues were also caused by the mess they left ? (see pic) This is just another attempt to deflect from the real issue: poor workmanship and failure to deliver on agreed terms. His attempt to continue to bolster his reputation by exaggerating cannot hide the truth...his workmanship, professionalism, and business practices fall far below acceptable standards. We strongly advise anyone considering this company--doing business under names such as Satin Finish Epoxy & Flooring and Satin Finish Concrete, Terrazzo and Marble Restoration--to do their due diligence. SAVE your money! Our experience, and the pictures of the work, speak for themselves. RUN--do not hire them. The proof is in the pudding.

Kenson came to restore my counter top. He has a 90 day warranty and because it was not sealed…read moreproperly my father asked him to come back and fix it. He came back to put the chemical on the counter top and began the process. The issue is, he kept telling my father he will come and never showed up to complete it. My father had enough and told him to not come , he eventually had to finish the work Kenson started. My father said he will take action as he paid for a service and was not done properly. I then texted Kenson to give him another chance to get this fixed and if not my father and I will take him to court and leave an honest online review. He declined. Many years ago, I used G&J Painting (John Silva and Guillermo Silva are the owners) for the outside…read moreof my house, and I was satisfied with the result. When it came time to paint the inside of my house, since they did a satisfactory job on the outside, I decided to use them for the inside as well. BIG MISTAKE! Painting the outside of the house was much easier and faster than the inside as they sprayed the outside. When it came to the inside of the house, they rolled, and that takes a lot more skill and preparation, both of which they lacked. There were three main issues/problems with the project: 1. G&J Painting damaged the header box/headrail of one of my expensive Hunter Douglas window coverings, which cannot be replaced as the fabric color is no longer available. They dripped gray paint onto white fabric, and instead of gently removing it, they attempted to "scrub" it off, totally damaging the fabric on the header box/headrail, as shown in the picture provided. 2. They did not tape any areas whatsoever. For example, where one color was used for the wall (grey) and another for the ceiling (white), they should have used tape to separate the colors, but did not. Instead, they attempted to paint freehand, and as you can see, the grey wall paint ended up on the ceiling because there was no straight line created by the tape. Tape was not used and should have been. This was an issue in many locations within the house. 3. They were careless and messy and dripped paint on furniture covers, office furniture, and other places, as shown in the pictures. Based on the above three issues, I will never use G&J Painting again and recommend that you don't either!!
