Do not use this business. We went in on August 23 to order two birthday T-shirts to be created and…read moreshipped. We stressed that one had to be delivered by September 4th due to his birthday being on the seventh, which was Labor Day. We let her know that if they could not guarantee that we would come pick it up and mail it ourselves. We did pay for the shipping because they said they could do it. They were having part issues with their machine so they did not get the T-shirt done until Friday, August 28 so we became concerned and reiterated that we can mail it priority ourselves, but they continued to say they could have it delivered by September 4th. The package was dropped off at USPS on Saturday, August 29th but it was after they closed so the package was dropped in a blue bin without being scanned in as received. We tracked the package through the tracking number provided to us and it showed it had not been received by USPS on Monday, September 1 so we reached out and let this company know. We seemed to be ignored as this company felt their responsibility was over and it is USPS responsibility. Again on Tuesday, September 2 it did not show received by USPS so we reached back out and the store manager went to the post office to find out what was going on. Shortly after we did receive a message saying that the package was received by USPS and it was being shipped ground advantage which is 2 to 5 business days so the estimated arrival date was September 8. The company continued to say it was USPS issue but because big airbrush custom apparel failed to confirm it was scanned in, it sat at USPS for nearly 2 additional business days before leaving Myrtle Beach. Also, they should've contacted us to let us know that they were dropping it off after hours on Saturday, which would have given us the opportunity to pick it up and mail it ourselves. On a customer service note both the store manager and the owner were rude and completely ignored the fact that they need better customer service. This company has no clue how to use USPS and how USPS works. No clue! Before using this company, be certain to search the Internet for other options and search Myrtle Beach if you're local for other options.

I want to start this review by stating that I am not one of those people who didn't pay rent a…read morecenter once I received the merchandise. I know there are people out there that do that. That wasn't me; I was a 47 year old professional, educated person at the time I purchased a bed, mattress, washer/dryer and TV from rent a center in the summer of 2014 and the insurance protection for each. This insurance was supposed to cover me in the event of unemployment. I paid extra for it but it felt worth it to me. I made regular, on time payments until unexpectedly losing my job in January of 2015. I was told I didn't meet "the criteria" to use the insurance. I had to fight every week with RAC reps until I finally proved that I did qualify, 8 weeks later. Even still, I made payments to them every week. Partial payments sometimes but always called and let them know what was going on and when I'd be paying. To say I was treated badly by RAC would be a compliment. They treated me, a nurse and volunteer emergency worker, like a criminal. They acted as if I was trying to steal their products. They told my son I was a deadbeat in a voicemail they left for him. They were on my back deck peering through my windows. They left 6 notices on my door, to make it look like I hadn't responded to them for 6 days, when I had in fact only run out for an hour to pick my child up from school. Luckily I was smart and documented everything and eventually I won. Their corporate office took 5 weeks of payments off of what I owed to make up for the harassment I experienced. From the time I started working again on April 4th 2015 until last week when I paid them off, I made payments to RAC on time, every week. Yesterday I received a threatening letter from the corporate office accusing me of theft. I had just paid them off. This was 4 DAYS AFTER THEY GAVE ME MY "CERTIFICATES" PROVING I OWNED ALL OF THE ITEMS! How do you steal something you own? I called corporate again and they told me to ignore the letter. It was just a standard letter they mail out when you miss a payment and the computer just hadn't caught up to the "real world". Yes that was their explanation. When the rep at their store tried to get me to buy more at the time of payoff I nearly laughed in her face but I'm not at their level. Truthfully I did need some furniture but even with the 100$ off they offer when you pay off purchases, I refused to even consider it. They are rude, disrespectful people even to good customers. Never again. I went to Badcock and more, got nicer things and they report to a credit agency, which helps me! All in all a horrific experience from beginning to end. GOODBYE RAC AND GOOD RIDDANCE!
