I brought my car in for an estimate and parts were ordered and delivered on Wednesday. I was told my car might be ready Saturday. In fact the car was available Friday afternoon. Extremely rude owner with a prima donna style attitude! Please do not bring your car here, extremely bad customer service! My insurance company sent me here to get an estimate on a very minor damage of the front of my new MB, the inspection he did was very rushed and he then proceeded to enter in a dollar amount and asked him when can I bring in my car for you to fix, he so rudely responded that 'oh you cannot bring it on Monday or the following week...and so many other excuses, what kind of BS is that?!! I have since took my car to three other shops for comparison and showed them the estimate I got from this shop and all of them remarked that it is a bogus estimate. The shop that ended up fixing my car was a shop that was recommended by the MB dealership and I could not be happier with the work they did on my car, $300 less than the rushed estimate provided by Custom Auto. I have reported Custom Auto to my insurance co and to remove this shop from their list, nobody deserves to be treated so rudely! read more

Custom Auto Design is the type of facility that dealers turn to when the challenge is too big for their in-house shops. I've been taking my cars to Gus at Custom Auto Design for many years. From a full paint job to small touch-ups, you won't find any shop that cares as much about your vehicle as they do. And patience with customers ... trust me, Gus has plenty, because I know how big a pain in the a$$ I can be! By now he knows me so well that he teases me about when my next call will come during the process of my repair. Tomorrow I'm picking up my 2003 GMC Yukon after a small fender bender I recently got into. Rather than simply accepting what the insurance company indicated that the repair would require, Gus took all the right steps and got all the right parts and equipment to bring my truck back to life ... we even made a few small customizations and the car now looks even better than when it rolled off the GM assembly line. And ... if there's something I'm not happy with, I'll go back and he'll make it right. (But that has never been required, as he's always gotten it right the first time with me.) I'm the type of driver that keeps my cars until it no longer makes sense to repair them ... I have a 17 yr old Grand Cherokee and the 10 yr old Yukon. Thanks in great part to the assistance of Custom Auto Design they still look virtually new and provide me with a much greater sense of pride in ownership than any new car with monthly payments ever could. I'm not one to write reviews often, but when I saw another reviewer's unflattering comments, I had to take a moment to give some comments of my own. If you are the type of customer that appreciates straight forward, truthful opinions, and no b.s., then this is your place. If you're the type that needs more salesmanship and smooth talking rather than skilled expertise, then move-on ... 'cause Gus don't play that game! Kelly, I was surprised to read about your experience. Over the years I have come to realize and appreciate how Custom Auto Design is part of an elite group of top-notch professionals that still take pride in what they and their employees do. I guess the old saying is true that nobody can please 100% of the people 100% of time. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Gus and Jessica and their kindness and professionalism. My Acura's airbag got stolen and my insurance recommended this shop and I am so very grateful they did. From the first phone call speaking to Jessica, she was very thorough and so sweet on the whole process including expectation of when my car would get done. They kept me updated via phone calls and emails. I picked up my car at the anticipated date and found my car spotless clean, with my wiper fluids filled, and everything looking in perfect condition with my newly installed airbag. After leaving the car shop, I did have problems with my battery and I called the shop and Gus (the angel!) came to the corner to pick me up at the gas station to jump start my battery and helped me find an affordable place to purchase my battery. He even helped install it for me. Words could not describe how grateful I am for Gus and Jessica after the week I had. Some people are out to just get money and business but you can tell that this family have heart and professionalism and I would highly recommend to anyone! Thanks again Gus and Jessica. read more

Great body shop. Probably the best body work Ive ever seen. My dad had a camaro they worked on and left it flawless. I mean it was better than factory original paint. A few of my friends have taken their cars here too and all had excellent results. They've been in the biz since the early 80's, if not earlier. Its hard to find body shops with a lot of experience.
