Wow! Great location on State St and this was a spontaneous stop for ice cream! The service was excellent very friendly and allowed me to sample pistachio flavor which was so good! However, I went with the Oreo, cheesecake and chocolate ice cream which was there one of their specials. I didn't even sample just ordered it because it sounded too delicious!! Lo and behold it was 5 star ice cream hands down! The cone was great tasted like cinnamon and graham crackers to me! I enjoyed it thoroughly sitting at a table in front of the shop in the summer. What a great experience!

Move over McConnell's there's a new ice cream shop on the block! Cuso's caught my attention with the Ube cotton candy flavor they had and their cute storefront. We were greeted by a young lady working there who was so sweet and let us sample basically all of their flavors. They were all amazing and so unique! I went with the Ube cotton candy which tasted like my childhood Disneyland dreams and red velvet oreo which was a dark chocolate base with large oreo chunks. Service was amazing and ice cream was perfectly textured and super flavorful. No place to sit, but ice cream is a walking food!

YUM! Local or visiting, I highly recommend! I decided to come here last minute and so glad I did. Like another review said, it is heavy, but divine. The customer service is exceptional and the servings are generous. I got a double in a cup with the maple bourbon praline (on top in photo) and salted toffee caramel. The establishment was clean and welcoming.

I stumbled upon this little ice cream spot while I was in downtown Santa Barbara and I am extremely glad I did. All the flavors they provide have been really tasty, such as the Oreo cheesecake, the guava cheesecake, toffee, and red velvet oreo, just to list a few of my go-to flavors. Their portions are fairly worth it as well. Definitely a good date spot because the pier is straight down the road. Also they're open late!

Love how salty the salted caramel was but didn't like not being able to see the ice cream. It should be displayed- it's part of the ice cream shop experience. The ice cream was good but not the best I've had. I wasn't a fan of the airiness you could bite through it. I want creamy - not airy ice cream, But that's just me.

Cute spot on State street! You can't turn onto this street so opt for some street parking or the parking garage if you want time to roam around. Staff was very nice and welcoming. We got to sample a few of their signature flavors like hot honeycomb and ube cotton candy. Glad we did too because the ube was saaaweeeeet! We opted for their two popular flavors, salted toffee and the bourbon. The salted toffee was still too sweet for me. Although the flavor was nice, it left me thirsty and needing water to cut back on the sweet. Hubby really enjoyed the bourbon praline and appreciated that you could taste the bourbon. Not strong, just some subtleties. There are a few other ice cream and gelato places only steps away which I'll be trying next! Overall, appreciate that everything is made in-house! There was definitely a line and a bunch of people walking around with cups that say Cuso's

Friendly service, delicious custard with a nice variety of flavor options. Reasonably priced! Fun to walk down state street while eating custard.

We visited another creamery in Paso Robles, but this one used sheep's milk--it was unexpected and a bit disappointing. As I get older, eating ice cream feels like a big deal, something I only indulge in when I'm on vacation! Luckily, Cuso did not disappoint. It was just as delicious as I hoped--creamy and yummy! Totally satisfied.

Woohoo! Awesome scoopers scooping creamy delicious frozen joy into waffle cones! Apple pie and toffee were sooo good!

The ice cream was tasty, they let us sample their flavors. We ordered the Dubai and the pistachio both were so good!

Orange cream, vanilla, and amaretto cherry chocolate!

I was shocked with their serving size because it was so much for only $9. Anywhere else this would probably be $20 lol. With the small you can get four flavors so i got horchata, peanut butter, honey vanilla, and graham cracker. All of the flavors were so yummy, not to sweet, and creamy as could be. Definitely would recommend coming here. The wait was a bit long, but while chatting it up with some friends made it go by fast.

He is a fan of McConnell's and wanted to grab some ice cream after our dinner. This location only has 3 parking spots plus 1 handicap spot. Thankfully we found parking on the street and there was a line of people waiting to get in. Once inside, Christie was the girl who helped us and she couldn't have been more pleasant and kind. She was very upbeat, energetic and did not rush us at all as we tried to make our decisions. She was more than happy to give us as many samples as we wanted. Since this location had frozen yogurt and the one by our home doesn't, my son decided to go for that. He got Horchata, Greek Yogurt, and Peanut Butter flavors in one cup. For his toppings he got rainbow sprinkles and chocolate chips. I had a few spoonfuls of it and it was DELICIOUS! Great texture, super smooth and decadent, while still being light. The portion was huge and enough to share. The place was very clean and they have a small outdoor seating area. Sweet ending to a sweet day!

Every flavor I…read moresampled was deliciously creamy, dense, and rich--a testament to their use of high quality ingredients (grass-grazed milk and cream) sourced locally from the Central Coast. It was so difficult to choose! I ultimately went with the Earl Grey Tea & Shortbread Cookies and Sea Salt Cream & Cookies. The Earl Grey tea base was really aromatic and authentic, and the shortbread cookies added a buttery sweet texture, easily one of the best artisanal flavors I've ever tried. As for the Sea Salt Cream & Cookies flavor, the local sea salt in the cream base paired perfectly with the chocolate chunk cookie pieces. I appreciate how both flavors I chose were balanced by elements that cut the richness in such a well-crafted way. My friends got the Eureka Lemon & Marionberries, Churros Con Leche, and Santa Barbara Strawberry flavors and LOVED them. The SB Strawberry flavor was so fresh and unlike any other strawberry ice cream. There's just something about those local Central Coast strawberries! Prepare to pay, but also prepare to be blown away. The quality and flavor make it an indulgence well worth the price. We were greeted by friendly employees who were super helpful with letting us sample flavors and advising us on what flavors pair well together. Fortunately, he didn't serve us, but it was concerning to see from a food safety standpoint. Mostly younger teenagers working here, maybe have an older adult on swift would be helpful. That said, the ice cream itself was excellent, and I would definitely return for the product.
