There was complete lack of privacy and sensitivity during the private viewing, when Anna kept speaking nonstop about different things. There were many mess ups, including arriving late with the body for the funeral and then rushing through the ending early. There was complete lack of sensitivity with us, the family, of with having all the people who attended the funeral by waiting outside. They accepted gratuity for 4 people to carry the casket, but then there was only 1 person and the family had to carry the casket. It was such a difficult experience during time of loss and grieving.

I strongly suggest telling the funeral home which crematorium you want to use. I called AAAB dozens of times to get the cremation certificate I needed to inter my father's ashes. No matter what time or day of week the answering service always picks up and says "the funeral director is with a family". Total BS. No one ever returns calls once you have given them the money. By contrast the Neptune Society-affiliated cremation place that prepared my mother's ashes 10 years earlier had a sensitive, pleasant receptionist and mailed a copy of the certificate immediately.
