Brian has cleaned our carpets and sofas for over 20 years. I have ALWAYS been incredibly happy with his work. We have a 14-year-old couch that looks brand new after he is done with it (which is saying something for a house with two boys and a dog!). Brian is a great person, too. He has always been friendly and extremely professional. I trust him completely in my house, even when no one is there. Twice I had someone else come out to clean (Brian wasn't able to make it as I was asking VERY last minute during the busiest times of the year) and neither time was I happy with the results. I have recommended Brian to quite a few people and all have been thrilled with him, including a colleague of mine who had Brian clean and re-stretch her carpet after a flood. I can't recommend Curtice Chem-Dry more!! read more

We have been using Curtice Chem-Dry for many years in two different homes and are always happy with the professional results. We recently had our stairs cleaned and all spots were removed - looks new! With three kids and three dogs, that is saying a lot! I used their service for my new condo. I was recommended by one of my friends, so I went online to request an appointment. There was $20 off online coupon available, too. I received a call from Brian - he was very professional and polite - to setup an appointment. He was able to set it up for 2 days later although the website schedule was not available until later of the week. On the day of the appointment, Brian called me to let me know the service attendant would be late a bit and if it was okay for me. Again, he was professional and polite. The service attendant showed up a few minutes later and he was very professional as well. He explained how they do carpet cleaning, how different from others, etc. He showed me the quote which was previously provided over the phone, and no hidden/additional charge. Yes, online coupon was applied. I would definitely recommend this company for your carpet cleaning needs. read more

Brian was quick to get back to me when I called for an appointment. I was able to schedule the cleaning of two couches and an 8x10 area rug within days of my call. He arrived at the scheduled time and my brother reported that he was both personable and professional. The cleaning took about 2 hours and I'm very pleased with the results. The couches are a light tan linen-synthetic blend and came out great. The wool rug looks fresher and feels softer. Everything was dry by the time I got home from work. Rates are reasonable. Highly recommended. read more

Brian Curtice is a terrific guy who does a great job at a fair price. He's been cleaning my carpets for many years, and they still look like new. Always reliable. Wonderful results. read more

I just had a baby two weeks ago and I love this company considering that there are no harmful chemicals used to clean the carpets We had our carpets cleaned just last week and I must say, they look so amazing. Every time I come home from a long day, i feel refreshed just looking at them! We have very expensive white wool carpets that require special care. You can only imagine what they look like after my two dogs are being-- well, dogs on them!! However, we don't fret too badly because we know that in three months, we will have Curtis back over to make them look brand new again! So far, Chem dry has remedied two majorly visible dog accidents from our carpets. Will recommend and use again! read more

Efficient and professional service. They were careful not to get my floor wet and cleaned up when finished. Very polite and friendly service. The best part, my ivory sofa and ottoman look almost brand new. Thank you! read more

This was probably one of my worst experiences with a Chem Dry company in my entire life. I just bought a house and needed the carpets cleaned from the previous owner. After the initial cleaning (which for three bedrooms and a hallway cost well over $350) the floors still looked kind of dirty. They did not clean around the edges of the room at all and there still looked to be some tracks where the stains were initially. He said that it needed to dry and we should stay off it. He also told us that none of the stains were from pet urine so all the stains should come out no problem. We also paid for the extra carpet protection so we wouldn't have to worry about it down the road. At the time we had no furniture upstairs and we were still moving in. About a week later we were in the process of moving in, making sure that our shoes were not on when we walked on the carpet. Some of the stains started to show up again but we were busy moving to call again. There is only a 10 day guarantee on the carpet and after we had completely moved in, it was past the guarantee. Less than a month later all the stains came back into the carpet!!! We have never walked on the carpet with shoes and all the company could tell us was that it was out of their guarantee period. I called and they told us, "Oh it is probably pet urine." which is exactly what they said the stains weren't when we first moved in. They also informed us that they could come out and have us pay an additional $150 to re clean the hallway. All in all they did a horrible job and didn't stand by their work and on top of that tried to get extra money out of us to fix their mistakes. I would not give them another dime and I wouldn't waste my money with this unprofessional company. Our carpets look just as bad as they did when we moved in. Don't waste your money. read more

I am completely impressed with this company. Brian and Giovanny definitely know what they are doing! I had my carpets cleaned about 2 years ago because I accidentally knocked over a candle and the wax just stuck to the carpet. I figured it was time to get the entire condo cleaned anyway. The company that cleaned my carpet then could not get the wax out and stated it was just permanently stained. I'm not a carpet cleaning expert, so I simply believed him and lived with the terribly ugly and large spot. The reason I needed my carpets cleaned this time around is because I'm moving and going to rent out the condo. The renter was fine with the spot. Not only did Brian and Giovanny get the spot out, you can hardly tell where the high traffic areas are anymore. In addition to their skill, they are very nice over the phone and in person, responsive, completely accommodating and get the job done quickly! I will recommend Curtice ChemDry (especially Brian and Giovanny) to anyone I hear needs their carpets cleaned. read more

I have used Curtice Chem Dry for at least ten years. They do my seasonal carpet cleaning and my emergency carpet cleaning. They have come to my rescue more than once. They are always professional, accommodating, and kind. Brian does a great job making my old carpets look new Again. I highly recommend this company ! You will love how great your carpets look . read more

They've been cleaning my good rugs for 10 years and always do a wonderful job. They pick up and deliver them, too.

Curtis was great!!! We have 2 rescue dogs. After a year, one of them STILL goes in the house sometimes. All along the base of my couch and a few spots in my bedroom have been frequented by this little dog. Curtis was able to get the stain out of my very light colored carpet in my bedroom and the smell out of my brown couches. The carpet in our son's room is very old and had a LOT of traffic dirt ground in. The carpet was literally black in a few spots - but not any more!!! I wish I had taken before and after pictures. The difference really is amazing!! So so very happy with the job that he did!! Thanks Curtis!!!! read more

Get your carpet cleaned! If your whole household has been mostly home this past year your carpet probably shows it. I had Curtice Chemdry clean my carpet and it looks like new. Brian has been cleaning my carpets for over 12 years. I don't know that I've ever worked with anyone more professional, reliable, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, unbelievably reasonable and so hard working. This is a man who truly takes pride in his work and is such a pleasure. Brian cleans my carpets routinely but has done some specialized cleaning for me as well...including bleaching out red stains, pet stains, removing fleas and does amazing upholstery cleaning as well. All done to perfection. I just recently had Brian come in after I had a kitchen remodel. The kitchen crew had placed my old filthy appliances on my white carpet without tarps...I thought I would need new carpeting. Brian came in, did his thing, and they look like new! What I also love about Brian is If you call for an appt he will answer straight away, if not, he will return your call immediately. And In 12 years he has never been a minute late. Not a minute. He really is a gem. If I could give this company 10 stars I would. He is superb. read more

I've been using Yelp for ages and found some good service people so I thought I'd finally register to write a review. We moved into a house recently that needed some minor work so I found myself at a loss on different services to call. Carpets were filthy so I wanted someone to clean and found Curtice Chem Dry - a mom and pop type operation. http://www.curticechemdry.com/. The wife answered the phone and the husband came to do with the work with two other guys (one was in training) The owner, Brian (pcitured on the site, but that pic was 12 years ago...he still looks the same though) was a super nice guy and really supervised, bringing in extra gear to do some touch ups. The quote initially seemed higher than the "specials" I was seeing on some other chem dry sites but the lady said she was into "reality" pricing. I goofed and gave her too many rooms for the quote - (6, when it's actually 4 rooms and a hallway, plus one of the rooms would count as two). She quoted me 299, plus 15% off as a discount - she initially quoted 10% off but I asked her about specials compared to her competitors so she came back with a bit more. Extra large rooms would be $60 extra. The actual bill came out to be $229 - quite a bit cheaper than I thought - even though it should have been cheaper anyway since it was one less room. They are a small operation and I am glad I went with them because their reputation and work mattered a little more to them since so much of their business is word of mouth. I would never bother to clean carpets by myself after seeing this. For not much more, you can have it done by someone who knows what they are doing. They moved all my furniture around for me too! All in all, they did a great job. Very nice technicians. read more

Brian was very easy to converse with via the messaging system. He was prompt and thorough in his availability/scheduling. He was on time, as I was the first appointment in the morning. He explained what he was going to do and got to work. We had never had our carpets cleaned since installation in late 2013. We have a lot of foot traffic and a baby who spilled and spit up a lot of milk. He was able to get it back to looking brand new. He worked very hard on some troubled areas and was passionate about doing the job and doing it to the best of his abilities. I can't thank him enough. read more

This is THE best Chem-Dry company in L.A.! I have cream colored all-cotton upholstery with a lot of scatter cushions - and I live at the beach. This is guaranteed to create havoc with such material - brown staining because of the moisture is a given - and yet, Curtice Chem-Dry manages to not only remove it, but thanks to their continued diligence over the years, they have managed to preserve the fabric for a total now of 20 years! There are many 'Chem-Dry' operators out there (I know, I tried a few really bad ones!) and was SO relieved to find in Curtice Chem-Dry a company that is always professional, always efficient and obviously knows their stuff! Great people (owner Brian Curtice) are hard to find - so look no further! read more

Curtice Chemdry is the business to get your carpets cleaned. I must comment on how fast they are. Also, they are thorough. They get the job done at 110% and they do it in a reasonable time with no inconvenience to the homeowner. Furthermore, their employees are kind and clean. They are fun to talk to. Last, but not least, the price is reasonable for the service being performed. I wouldn't use another company in the future because Curtice Chemdry is the way to go. I mean that in the most straightforward sense possible. I've had my carpets cleaned many times by different companies and have experienced various disappointments. With Curtice every time is easy and beyond my expectations. read more

I have used Curtice Chem Dry for 10 years. They are always on time, professional and do an awesome job! I highly recommend them.

I would highly recommend Curtice ChemDry. They are prompt and get the job done quickly, but thoroughly. Although ChemDry costs more than steam cleaning, it was worth it because the carpets were almost dry by the time they left. They also stretched my carpet where it had wrinkles for a small extra fee. They moved the furniture, too. It is a small owner-owned business and the owner himself did the work with his crew. I think I got much better quality and service than from a large impersonal company. Also, this is the same owner as the Curtice ChemDry listed in Redondo Beach. read more

I used Curtise Chem-Dry for my house and my business. I knew they're technique was great for allergies (my wife has asthma) and wouldn't cause any problems for my people that had sensitive breathing issues. Well they lived up to expectations, they did great, they're people were very professional and they were able to work around my facility's office hours, which was crucial. The prices were very reasonable to top it off, I would not hesitate to use them again. Thanks again Brian read more

They did a great job! I called and they gave me a quote over the phone for my 1 bedroom apartment. Came out the next day and was very professional. I have been a customer of Curtice Chem-Dry since 1998, and I can't give enough praise as to how good his services are. My expensive carpet is now going on 15 years, and it still looks virtually new every time he's finished (except for the wear areas, of course). I can even compare Curtice to other Chem-Dry franchises since I accidentally booked one of the other ones, and they don't do the job nearly as well as Brian does. No bait-and-switches, up-charges, or any other tricks.....they just do an incredible job for a fair price. read more
