I decided on a combo meal that had a choice of three entrées, rice or chow mein, and "greens" - plus a soda - for $13.99. With tax it was $15.00. I chose Manchurian chicken and rice. The chicken was flavorful with a little kick, but the rice was similar to Rice-a-Roni and took up most of the container. The "greens" consisted of three cucumber slices. Overall this a good deal, but the rice was 75% of the dish. We tried this place at the newly opened Tracy Food Truck stop. It was fun to walk around the area and look at the different choices. Resunga had two trucks at this location.

2.5 Stars. If you're expecting Halal Guys, then you'll be disappointed…read more Clearly, the owner wants you to associate their truck with the famous Halal Guys and even claims to sell similar items, but it's not even close. Their AI generated menu also has pictures that look like a Halal Guys bowl, but it looks nothing like the picture when made. I ordered the chicken and rice bowl with the "white sauce" and "hot sauce". White sauce had no texture and was really thin and flavorless. Hot sauce, if there was some, was non-existent. The chicken had a strange texture and was cut into such small cubes it was a little odd. It has the appearance of dog food morsels. The rice was good, but nothing like Halal Guys. Like 2 small pieces of iceberg, a couple garbanzo beans, and that's about it. Overall, it was just ok, but I was hoping for so much more. If I wasn't starving I'm not really sure if I would've even eaten much of it. Maybe the other options are better, but the bowls are not it.

AWARENESS: Following the Moral, Welfare and Recreation…read more(MWR), San Joaquin's page on Facebook, I learned for the next few weeks, some local food trucks would be on the base during lunch hours offering up some specialty food items for sale. Row's Roll, which I've had bookmarked for some time was on the list so, I decided to check it out. NARRATIVE: On January 23, 2026, I headed to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in San Joaquin to check out Row's Roll food truck for lunch. Arriving, I located Row's Roll truck parked amongst four other trucks in at the North end of base. After looking at the menu and not being to decide on just one item, I ordered; Chicken Adobo, Pancit and Lumpia to take home. With the order placed, I waited about ten minutes when I got the "your foods ready" from Row. Once at home, I took a few pictures of the food items before I dug in and here's what I have to say about the various items. Pancit - Nice and hot glass noodles sprinkled with diced green onions, Carrots and cabbage. Very good. Chicken Adobo - Three good size pieces of lightly breaded chicken and an over easy egg sitting on top of some very tasty and seasoned rice with two pieces of Lumpia as ad added bonus and nice addition. Again, very good. Lumpia - I believe seven pieces of pork filled Lumpia which was served al a carte with a sweet sauce. The Lumpia was crispy, hot and had that perfect crunch. Very good again. SCENE: Normally, Row's Roll is located at the Lathrop Food Truck Plaza. But for thee next few weeks, she and her truck will be doing lunch (0800-1400) at the DLA San Joaquin - Tracy, which is a Department of War installation requiring credited credentials for access. RECOMMENDATION(S): If you have access to visit Row's Roll at DLA for the next few weeks, take advantage. If not, she and her truck will be back in Lathrop soon. You can follow Row's Roll on Instagram or text to find their location.

So the place truly deserves one star (or even less) for their service and ambiance…read more I unfortunately again thought of giving this place a chance and went in with the family for a weekend dinner. We went in at 8:30p and their closing time is 9:00p. The guy at the counter straight up said the kitchen closes at 9:40 and we cannot accommodate any more guests. I mean there were only 2 people in there having dinner before us. You guys are running a restaurant and we as guests bring you business. Apparently the staff is not serious about the business and are arrogant for no reason. And then we left and while driving away from the parking we saw a group of ladies with kids walked in and they had them sit in for dinning. I am more than sure now that this is not a place that deserves my business and time. As I said before, their food is decent and the main reason they are running is their prime location. Old review: So their food has mixed reviews, hitting or missing on odd occasions. I have had some good meals there and bad as well. That being said, I have had the worst experience while dealing with one of the ladies (in her 50s maybe) at the counter. As other reviewers have mentioned, she indeed is rude. I don't know if she's the owner or store manager, but she has that negative attitude towards selective people. She's very judgmental and treat people accordingly. This is not one time thing, I have had this experience 3-4 times. She would get annoyed if you ask her questions about the items they have and pricing. Today we asked her about the price for one of the sweets by pointing it out. Later when I asked her to pack some for me she started packing a different sweet and then she said that's what you asked for and the first thing we asked for is expensive. I mean for real lady?? First you need to learn manners since you are in customer service business, second you need to treat people equally. We don't owe you anything until we buy something, but you owe customers (all) a basic courtesy. I think I am done with this place, will take my business other emerging places.
