My first massage there was amazing, Brittany understands the assignment and executes it well! My shoulders and back were tense but I left out feeling wonderful! I enjoyed it so much that I purchased my mother a gift certificate, so that she could go with me. We got our massages today and my mother is so happy that her first massage was with Focus & Relax. She talked about how Ivory took such good care of her- explaining what was going on and applying pressure to her trouble areas. She's excited that she has gained some mobility in arms back. She's planning to tell everyone about her experience and is already planning to return. If you're looking for a relaxing yet healing massage this is your place, book now!

Massage was relaxing however, their 60 minute massages are $70. Tell me why because I'm pregnant…read morethey charged me $100 for 60 minutes? A man came in for a 90 minute deep tissue massage and they charged $100. What I was charged for a normal 60 minute massage. Totally ridiculous to charge a pregnant woman an extra $30, nearly a 50% upcharge. It is not like they have a special table or special process for pregnant people. I had to lay on my side for the massage. I only brought $100 in cash because I thought the total would be $70. So when they said $100, I tipped on my card after paying the rest in cash. They asked how much I wanted to tip and I said $15. So they typed in $16 on the machine and said "$1 for using card". Kind of ridiculous to do when it's a tip. Especially after being overcharged by $30. For a discounted place ($70 for 60 minutes), it's worth it. But when they charge the same as the nicest spas in the area for pregnant people, totally not worth it. Go somewhere nicer. I left feeling scammed and taken advantage of.

Walking in everything went fine until she let me to the first room on the right and waited for me to get changed. What I noticed was the room didn't look like it had been kept up considering there's a giant hole in the wall that leads to the front room and they use a big painting to cover the hole. Which made me feel very unsafe. But the cherry on top was the actual massage seemed to be focused on my lower regions and exposing them. During the massage, I kept overthinking why she kept going back to my lower regions why this felt like more of an expose rather than a massage. So I didn't feel comfortable saying anything which is my fault. Maybe she's never done a massage before and she didn't know what to do or maybe she's used to massaging older clients that need to focus on their lower regions. Either way I would love to see the hole in the wall covered up to ease my mind on what could've been the case.

We came here for my birthday last year & for last min massages and they were offering a deal where couples massages were $90 for 60 minutes full body. I think that they're typically $50-60? I thought it was a good deal considering the amount of time. Not too many places are cheap in Greenville. Unless you travel to Atlanta or Houston, that's where you'll find extremely cheap massages. I recommend checking this place out! I like this spot more than the Happy Feet on woodruff road (that's good too though).

It is in a small strip plaza, newly opened just a month ago. Soft piano music, lighting and plants fill the space. It feels quite modern. The owner completed my session: a combination of foot massage and full body. They soak your feet in hot water while doing a short scalp and face massage. You can choose to undress to your comfort (be vocal if you prefer areas not massaged, such as thighs or butt). Everything was very clean and thorough. She used hot stones at the end, as well as hot towels to wipe off any excess oils/lotions. Chilled water upon checking out. They have some grand opening specials ($10 off any service over $30). I saw they also do waxing/sugaring, eye lashes, etc. I will be sure to come back! Refreshing and professional. I highly recommend Holiday Spa and Massage. Enter Patrick of Body Language. He's in a small space at MIX, and there's definitely some hustle and bustle going on in some of the hallways, however his room is located within a designated quiet area with additional doors sectioning it off. I hate the slightest bit of noise during a massage and have not experienced any issue on either of my visits. There is a heated bed and aromatherapy diffuser, and Patrick offers a selection of music- traditional spa, R&B, or (my fav) cinematic scores. He uses a lotion instead of straight oil, so you won't walk out a greaseball! You'll discuss what you're wanting to work on and pressure for the session. Patrick is very communicative to ensure your comfort and is a pro with the sheeting. Where he shines is his unique technique, which I can only say is different than any other massage I've ever had. He skillfully stretches as he massages. According to comfort level, he can target glutes and pecs as well, which I love since I've been working out. Lastly, if you book 3 appointments (can be up to 3 months between each), you get a significant savings on the rate. As in, you'd get multiple massages for the price some of the spas giving one-size-fits all massages by a rotating roster of random staff are charging for one!
