The guys were nice and helpful. I called in advance to exchange a large amount of usd to euro and they had it counted and set aside.

They are scum of the Earth who, apparently, sue random people just to waste their time. I had never…read moreeven had any dealings with this shady currency exchange place, and yet I was sued by them. Why? Because someone stole my checkbook, slapped a random (probably made-up) signature on the blank checks, and cashed them. Instead of going after whoever cashed my stolen blank checks, they went after me -- the victim of a checkbook theft. Yes, one day, I got served court papers that said I am getting sued by this currency exchange place I had never even heard of before. I tried to settle the matter by explaining to the plaintiff and their attorney that the check in question had been stolen, and I even offered to show them my ID with my real signature so that they could see that the signature on the cashed check does not belong to me, but they refused. They had THE AUDACITY to demand that I drive to Chicago from a different state to get the police report I had filed regarding the checkbook theft: apparently, the only way to get a copy of the police report (which they did not give me when I filed it for some reason) is to physically go to CPD headquarters, which was a problem given that I do not live in Illinois and that I work 80+ hrs a week. Then, they demanded that a trial (yes, somehow it actually almost went to trial) be held in person. Eventually, the case was dismissed, but I had to waste a ton of time on this, even though all of this could have been easily cleared up in a more efficient manner. When I said they should compensate me for the time that they wasted, they had the audacity to tell me I am not entitled to any compensation. I guess they think they are entitled to wasting my time, though. I do scientific research 80+ hours a week, so I do not have any time to waste, and I am extremely annoyed by this circus. I did nothing wrong whatsoever, and they wasted my time with an absurd frivolous lawsuit anyway! As of this moment, they did not even apologize, and I do not expect they ever will.

I walked in and the place was empty. I stepped right up to the teller and said "God evening, I'd…read morelike to purchase a plate sticker" She did not say a word. She just grabbed my registration and proceeded to do her job quietly. I found it quite rude that she did not respond after I greeted her.

Horrible service. DON'T GO THERE!…read more June 2014 - went to get my city sticker and waited about an hour to get to the window and then another 45 minutes at the window. They were claiming their systems were slow, but with a line back up all the way out the door had no sense to inform people of an estimated wait time. Still chit chatting amongst themselves or flirting with customers that were at their window while customers are fuming in an unbelievably long line. Their slowness coupled with their systems being slow was no help. Sept 2014 - Went to get my annual city sticker today since the last one I got in JUNE was a 3 month sticker only. Today there were 3 customers being tended to at the windows and another 6 waiting in line. Not very busy at all (compared to JUNE). And yet their city sticker system went down. Waited until it was your turn to go to the window to tell you instead of announcing it to those waiting in line. They seem content to shorten their line and not willing to help redirect people on where else they can go. Just shrugged their shoulders. Definitely won't be going back to this location again. And seems they are somehow linked to the location near Milwaukee/Central and Belmont/Central, because they said those locations would be down too. So save yourself the trouble and avoid all three locations.
