This is one of those long-lost gems, which is so nice in such a small town. The owner is extremely helpful and nice. He knows exactly where everything is by memory and offers great advice if you need it. The stores offers not only hardware essentials but also some automotive and lawn items. The plumbing section offers whatever you need for a small fix: busted pipe under the sink? You can get what you need. Toilet acting up? You can get a rebuild kit. The other sections can offer you screws, bolts, screwdrivers, and that one pesky socket size you know you have somewhere but probably disappeared with the match to your favorite socks. It's nice to support small businesses, but it's even more beneficial when you can stay in town and not drive 20 minutes to the next town. Parking can be a bit of a headache when the store is busy. It's on a main highway and there's probably only room enough for about 4 cars...if people park smart not diagonally.

She was done with the key in literally 30 seconds. She was also super friendly and extremely polite. Once she was done, I was able to pay for it quickly and very done with the key errand. I checked out the restroom as well. Clean as can be! I think Ace will be the place (see what I did there?) in the area for hardware stuff. The staff seems extremely friendly and the store layout makes sense. Bonus points: tons of parking!

I went to the local Sears to price a replacement washing machine. Mine decided to start acting…read moreweird, so I wanted to get a ballpark figure on how much a new one would cost me. The gentleman working was very polite and helpful without being overbearing. In other words, he allowed me to look around without hovering on my every single move. I told him what was going on with my washer, and we discussed some of the machines in stock. Honestly though? The best part was he valued my concerns and money. He didn't try to push me into buying a new machine, rather he offered some helpful advice on my current one. He even gave me the contact information for a local repair company (one that I'm now in contact with). I understand sales very well. However, I love salespeople who understand and appreciate my time and money. I would love to do business with this location just because of that! If my washing machine cannot be fixed within a reasonable amount, I'm definitely buying a new one here. Huge kudos to this location!!

Incompetent. Lady gave us the wrong water filter for our fridge and we even brought the old one…read morein. All they had to do was match it up. Get your filters on amazon. Much cheaper. So I went back to the store to get my refund for the water filter and they said they could only do a store credit for me due to the fact that they're machine was down yesterday. I am now arguing back and forth with them trying to get refunded No wonder sears is going out of business So sad given that they used to be the place to go when you needed anything for the home. Times are changing , adapt or fall off the earth!!

The big bags of candy are always a great find. However, they are rarely well-stocked on either which is super frustrating during a craving for nostalgic finds. The pet section has a good selection, but honestly it's better for dogs. The cat area doesn't have a lot. Finding cat vaccinations here is also hit or miss; the last time I needed them they had tons for dogs and none for cats. The selection for livestock is good, however. If you have cows or horses this is the place to go. Items for gardens are available; again, the stock is hit or miss. If you need gardening stuff, I'd suggest getting it at the very beginning of the season. A month later and you may be out of luck. If the store was well-stocked, my rating would be higher. However, you can't count on the items you need to be there. When they are, life is good.
